@Skyla01 They suggest not but it's not to do with the pasteurised thing but the hygiene in the pipes of the ice cream machine containing listeria as they aren't cleaned regularly. Obviously everyone can chose what they do.

I personally like to follow the guidance as I'm a worrier anyway. 🤪

@BabyG123 their 3 years 🥺 I'm anxious about my scan tomorrow I'm not scared that I won't see anything but more that they'll be too many Lool

MayBug2020 · 12/06/2020 15:14

Hello ladies
I hope everyone is feeling ok. I wondered if anyone is suffering from excess phlegm which is making them gag. I found a post on here from a few years ago that discussed it and it is something I have had for the last week I am currently 8+2.

Anyone else struggling with it too? X

Skyla01 · 12/06/2020 15:18

@MissHoney85 I have my scan on the 8th of July! Not planning any private scan beforehand so it feels like a long wait to check on things. However I think we've just got to relax and trust our body is doing all the things it needs to. Will be a big relief after the scan though!

Skyla01 · 12/06/2020 15:21

@MayBug2020 I don't have phlegm but often have a blocked nose and need to blow out lots of gunk some mornings (sorry, tmi). Definitely don't have a cold or anything to explain it. I read that progesterone increases mucous production which is the cause. Lovely...!

MayBug2020 · 12/06/2020 15:25

@Skyla01 yes I read that it another lovely note of pregnancy of excess mucus - how attractive lol xx

CoalCraft · 12/06/2020 17:21

@Carabu1 I think in my case it's probably bloating with a bit of putting on extra fat too. I haven't felt that I've been eating much more than usual but I hear your metabolism changes a lot in pregnancy.

As long as I can lose it again after pregnancy I don't much mind, am just telling myself my body's storing up fat to make milk for baby Grin

BabyG123 · 12/06/2020 17:57

I've had a bit of I think light brown maybe pink discharge this afternoon. Only when wiping. Not enough for a pad.

Called my doctor but they can't do early scans at my hospital because of covid.

Now feel More anxious

@BabyG123 have you got an epu in your local hospital?

nmw93 · 12/06/2020 18:41

Sooo I ended up in hospital last night after throwing up all day and then collapsing. Turns out of got HG! I was dreading being told that! Has anyone else suffered before and found anything that helps?

I'm completely useless to anyone at the moment, all I do is sleep and throw up.

9 + 0

BabyG123 · 12/06/2020 18:53

@Mumof4andahalf yeah they don't see anyone unless red blood apparently

Mumof4andahalf · 12/06/2020 18:55

@BabyG123 oh ok, try and rest and hopefully it's just baby keeping you on your toes x

CoalCraft · 12/06/2020 19:01

@BabyG123 I know it's really hard not to worry. I had bleeding similar to what you describe, sometimes heavier with red blood, from 4 - 9 weeks, has only stopped in the last two days or so and who knows whether it will come back. Have had two scans in epu for it and both times baby fine and developing well. Doctors seem stumped but not worried, said it can happen up to 12 weeks and doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong.

Try to take your mind off it and if you see red blood or have significant pain call epu back xx

Carabu1 · 12/06/2020 19:06

@BabyG123 I had this at 6 weeks - had a scan at epu and it was fine. Hasn’t happened since. I won’t tell you not to worry, because you will, but it’s common I think? Do you have an epu nearby? If so I’d give them a ring if it gets any worse/keeps going.

lilypad88 · 12/06/2020 19:14

@BabyG123 when is your scan? Probably nothing to worry about if it was that small and if you don't have any bad cramping :)

I'm a bit worried tonight, since I've had my dinner (just some mash potatoes and lentils) my belly started to ache and having a lot of gas, I hope It's not food poisoning or something like that :( did this happened to any of you? Making me so anxious now... really don't want to lose my little pea on something stupid like that...

6+4

BabyG123 · 12/06/2020 19:34

Thanks guys. Nothing since. Literally 2 wipes worth.

I'm booking a private scan for Monday evening. Telling MIL about baby tomorrow too so she can have my first born whilst we go together.

Just did another test although I know it
Wouldn't show anyway 🤦🏻‍♀️ super strong line anyway!

Wheezeymcleazy · 12/06/2020 19:47

Hope everyone's ok. I've got my private scan tomorrow and I feel really anxious. You just never know what's happening in there.

SunSparkle · 12/06/2020 19:47

Hi!

I've on the cusp of Jan 31st and Feb 1st depending on the calculator I use so not sure which group, so I've joined both. I'm 6+4 today and the nausea and fatigue is debilitating. Finding it hard to stay awake past 3pm without a nap and feel constantly weak. I've lost a lot of weight from just not eating much so went to the shops today to try and buy little snacks so I can abandon the pressure of meals and mealtimes.

12 week scan is booked for 20th July which seems ages away. I'm 32 and this is my first pregnancy.

Charbead49 · 12/06/2020 19:56

Hi everyone, 7+2 here, third pregnancy. Has anyone had their booking appointment on the phone? Just wondering if there will be no urine and blood pressure testing this pregnancy?

StephS1984 · 12/06/2020 20:01

@charbead49 bloods and urine now happen at 12 week scan for a lot of hospitals now

Carabu1 · 12/06/2020 20:05

@lilypad88 as a vegetarian I can confidently say it would be hard to give yourself food poisoning with veg and lentils! I’m sure it’ll be fine :)

lilypad88 · 12/06/2020 20:14

@Carabu1 that's what I thought too... I mostly eat vegs and I never got sick from eating vegetarian or vegan, so doesn't make much sense... but now it seriously starts to feel like period cramps.... Like if I was on the day I get my period (I have to lay in bed because my period cramps are so bad) and it starts to feel like it... I'm just super anxious right now.... And it doesn't help that I had a nightmare the other day about having my period... I have my early scan on Monday, it's gonna be a long wait until then 😰
