Just been to smyths to take a look at the babylo next to me cribs, and found the chicco next to me dream for £90!! Snapped that up I'll tell you now lol
Not sure if its that price everywhere or it was just a lucky find in my local store. Really pleased 🤩

BuffaloCauliflower · 23/06/2020 19:04

@Pink15 you want booborbust.com/ and join their Facebook group if you need fit advice. I’m a bit of a bra guru so also happy to help. Anything but awful M&S and Debenhams type measurements. Bras fitting properly is my life’s work 😂

BuffaloCauliflower · 23/06/2020 19:06

@Sweetpea1985 that would piss me off too! At this stage the primary concern is surely your wellbeing, and that probably doesn’t need a daily check in either

futuredreams · 23/06/2020 19:20

Anyone else around the 21 week mark and just not hungry? I've been feeling like this for a few weeks now. Not gaining weight but actually loosing a little....

HarrietM87 · 23/06/2020 19:26

Amazing @Sweetpea1985! My in laws bought ours a couple of years ago and I’m sure it was like £180!

I finally weighed myself and have also put on exactly a stone! Kind of relieved as felt like it was more than that!

SqidgeBum · 23/06/2020 20:22

I have weighed myself too and I have gained 3 pounds. Not a lot considering I have a sizeable bump at 21+1 but I am just happy I am not losing. I dont think I am eating enough, and I certainly am not eating particularly well (alllllll the carbs). I am sitting here at 8:30pm considering putting a pizza in the oven.

Whatinthename20 · 23/06/2020 20:24

Does anyone else have a very noticeable pulse in their stomach? I can literally see my stomach pumping when I lie down, and can feel it when I place my hand on my lower stomach. It’s quite freaky

Pink15 · 23/06/2020 20:54

@BuffaloCauliflower Thankyou will take a look!! Knew there was someone on here who was a bit of a guru 🤣

Happymama24 · 23/06/2020 21:30

@whatinthename20
I have the same pulsing, I especially notice it when relaxing in the evenings.

This is my 4th baby. I have noticed I seem a lot smaller than I would have been with my other 3(and they were all large babies). I'm a little concerned especially as I only had one check up at 12 weeks. Would this concern any of you other mums? I am however just starting to feel movements

HarrietM87 · 23/06/2020 21:33

I’ve just googled and apparently a stone is like a pound too much for my stage of pregnancy/bmi (which was 22 pre pregnancy). Feeling less relieved about it now! Though tbh I was on steroids for the first 12 weeks which had weight gain as a side effect so I suppose it’s not really my fault. The snickers ice creams won’t have helped either 🤣

FilthyforFirth · 23/06/2020 21:36

I had the pulsing tummy thing a few weeks ago. I think it is the placenta. I'm only 18 weeks so it definitely wasnt baby at 16 weeks!

BabyKnighty1 · 24/06/2020 08:18

Found out we are also having a BOY!
Excited to think about names now!

Crispaddict99 · 24/06/2020 08:32

Morning all 👋 We had our 20 week scan last night and everything's looking good. Huge relief! Wee bubba was sooking it's hands and playing with it's toes, so cute 🥰 They allowed me to take a 10 second video at the very end to share with my partner xx

SqidgeBum · 24/06/2020 08:37

So lovely to hear all the babies are doing so well! Anyone else finding discussing names with their DPs/DHs a little stressful? With me being a teacher and DH being a former teacher, we have veeeerrry few we agree on. He suggested Bridget the other night 🤦‍♀️

wannabebump · 24/06/2020 09:03

@Crispaddict99 what a beautiful clear photo! I hope they let me take a video too 🤞🏻 x

@squidgebum - Ha ha, yes I know the feeling, I was a teacher before I retrained and it really cuts the options down!!

Crispaddict99 · 24/06/2020 09:30

@wannabebump Yeah they will do. The midwife on the front desk told me as soon as I arrived they were now allowing you to record a 10 second video on your phone. Thank god she did as I'd left my phone in the car! I had to pop out and ask my partner to go and get it.

Your midwife has probably already told you this but you'll also be offered your whooping cough vaccine. I was asked when I got there and she took me into a separate room and did it first. I think they normally do it after the scan but I arrived 20 mins early so they did it before. My appointment was at 7pm last night so it was totally empty!

Just caught up with all the posts and see you're having a boy! Huge congratulations!! 👶💙 xx

Sweetpea1985 · 24/06/2020 10:07

I'm starting to get really annoyed with being fussed over as if I'm some sort of invalid because I'm pregnant!
I'm used to just getting stuff done and sorted and usually just do stuff for myself, but DH seems to think all I should be doing is sitting down and growing a baby!!
And it's really starting to annoy me! I dont need wrapping up in cotton wool, I'm perfectly capable of stuff, and leaving things to him is stressing me out because he fannys about and doesnt do things properly!
At least when I thought I was going to be going back to work it was ok because I could do my thing until I decided it was time to stop and relax but now I just feel useless and incredibly bored.
Anybody else?

Addler · 24/06/2020 10:21

@Sweetpea1985 Same here, DP wouldn't even let me carry a basket at the supermarket last night. I ended up telling him that if he trusted me to grow a fucking baby then he needed to trust me that I would ask for help when I needed it.

Loving all this good scan news! @Crispaddict99 that is such a cute picture! Mine is still three weeks away, I think I must be the last one

HarrietM87 · 24/06/2020 10:23

Aw I feel sorry for those partners - they’re just trying to help 🤣 at least they’re offering as well. Mine makes no allowances whatsoever!

Pinktruffle · 24/06/2020 10:25

Mines a late one too @Addler, 13th July. Feels like an age away. I'm at the 'kind of feel normal but with a belly' stage so anxious to have my scan to make sure everything is ok

wannabebump · 24/06/2020 10:28

@Crispaddict99 my appointment is at 7pm as well!

The midwife didn't say about the whooping cough jab but I read about it in one of their booklets so was expecting it - did wonder if it would be different with the appointment being so late so that's good to know.

I'll be sure to take my phone!

Are u going to have a private scan to find out what you're having or are you going for a surprise? X

Hi all hoping it's ok to join. I'm 17+4 and this will be my second baby. Due date is 29th Nov. We don't plan on finding out the sex, although OH would like to and wanted to with our first too. If there's a Facebook group it would be great to join that too 😊

Whatinthename20 · 24/06/2020 11:29

Tmi question- does anyone else get sweaty down there in hot weather and have to change underwear throughout the day?Blush

Sweetpea1985 · 24/06/2020 11:34
