Sorry I have missed a few days.
Been busy at work and sorting out things for baby.
I also had a barney with my dsd about laundry and that turned into Laundrygate. Teenagers eh lol
My DSS safe space was finally removed from his room, its been really hard to find an appropriate place/ family to take it. The charity who supplied it wouldn't take it back and his residential school wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding risks. But we found a family who really need it to keep their child safe at night, which is what it is for. So that made me cry knowing what a difference it has made to their family.
But also emptying the last bits from DSS room was super emotional and I cried a lot. I haven't seen him properly since March and I miss him dreadfully. He gets annoyed at skype as he doesn't understand. Bless him. He is safe and happy in his school and they are taking very good care of him. I was a bit worried that the next time I see him I'll be the size of a house and he won't recognise me!
Now the room is empty I am spending the weekend decorating it as he had trashed the walls a fair bit. But it's super emotional. Finding it really hard to think of it as the baby's room now and not his.
I've put on 2 and a half kg. But hoping this doesn't go up anymore. They already hate me cause I started off my pregnancy not being perfect BMI. I have been trying to be super healthy and do the 30 mins of exercise a day.
Been feeling lots of movement this morning and I also felt a hard part on my tummy this morning but it's gone now so he must of moved!
Hope you are feeling a bit brighter @Zaalfruit sorry to hear you have been feeling down. Glad you had a proper chat to the midwife though. That was brave and hope it helped.
Glad the scan went ok. What a relief!
Ah @Quiffy congrats on your scan and your lovely boy!
@LexiM if your scan is in Salisbury it was completely dead when I went in. Like 1 other person in the waiting room
I really want to go to IKEA too, I need a chest of drawers for the baby's room. Don't know if I can face the drive to Southampton to be in a huge massive queue.
@LostinAusten2 congrats on your scan! Was it a choice to be team yellow or was baby not playing ball?
@BntTowers congrats, so glad the scan went well! I keep forgetting to book my whooping cough jab as well. Someone remind me on Monday? Lol!
@AutumnBabyWinterMummy
I've been told that we won't be going back into the office until September so it looks like I'm WFH until maternity.
Maybe start a whole thread on it to see what everyone else says? Hope you get the advice you need.
Good luck for the scans tomorrow and tuesday.
I have a follow up on friday as he wasn't playing ball last time.
I have my first online antenatal class tomorrow night too so I'm excited for that.
