My DD's pre-school doesn't reopen til September which is when she starts school so long time for me yet -I love her to bits and miss her when she's at school but we both need some time with our own friends!

Glad it when well @Quiffy -it always seems to be the receptionists who are rude the staff are usually lovely!

I've been getting kicked all day today she doesn't usually move too much when I'm not laid so it's a bit different today! Xx

@babymama09 my friend bought the anti colic TT but moved onto MAM as didn’t like them, she said they are better (for her baby) anyway xx

We did the same. Had the tommee tippee anti colic and were struggling still. A friend sent me some mam bottles and we never looked back.

@Treaclepie19 and @Treacle81 I loved the Mam bottles for their simplicity but I had a problem with them leaking. I might have been screwing them on wrong thou knowing me 😅😅😅. I have seen the set I like for the bottles had pink for my dd and will probably end up doing it again. Have u ever used it with the bottle warmer or prep machine? I am feeling fed up today I don't know what's wrong with me.

Phew! Scan went fine and didn’t find out the gender so another for team yellow 💛 It’s so intense having to lie there as they check for all the potential issues, and alone as well... so proud of us collectively for getting through this 🥰

And huge congrats on your boy @Quiffy 🥳🥳 lovely news, and I think the receptionist who phoned you must’ve been mad to suggest a reschedule, and then to get grumpy... so completely unfair, well down for getting past it.

I just used TT bottles we got them with the steriliser and used the TT bottle warmer, breast pump and prep machine (after 6 months of bf) my DD was fine with these bottles - she was just picky about the formula when we switched to that -SMA made her sick she only really liked Aptamil!

We also have a TT baby monitor with a screen and this is still fine for this time and it tells you the temp in the room and the screen stays on if you plug it in or just comes on when sound comes on if not plugged in! Xx

I'm glad everyone's scans went well today! Good to see the girl Vs boy Vs yellow count change.

I'm exhausted tonight, hoping that I'll be too tired to not sleep tonight rather than just being too anxious for tomorrow. I think we'll go for a little walk tonight which should help too.

Iv only looked at the Chicco ones online and overwhelmed by the choice I didn't look anymore! But will have another look now iv had some advice, I'm thinking I will have the side down the whole time anyway so have access to baby through the night

Hope your pain is better @FourPlasticRings. Iv had what I think is round ligament pain too, it's alarming but expected I think

Yay congratulations @quiffy!!! Absolutely amazing. Sorry the receptionist was so horrible but glad she couldn't take away from there amazing moment of finding out you had a big healthy boy!!

I've felt some proper kicks tonight! Really surprised me but called my husband in do he could feel too 🥰 usually we feel little movements that we aren't 100% sure if they're the baby or not but this was a definite kick!! So exciting.

I love feeling baby kick it's one of tv best feelings in the world! I'm laid on my bed and need to get up to get ready for bed but I ithink Pear cider seems to give her loads of energy coz she's not stopped kicking for the last half an hour !m sure she'll fall asleep soon but I don't want to get up til she does xxxxx

@Spark27 they really are savage - but its just There no frills nonsense Just love it . My niece that I lived with 8 months she had the funniest personality she would come into mine and dh room in the night because she missed us 🤣😂 one day she woke up - 15 times because she was a big girl and needed to go work in macdonalds.

I was rudely woken up by baby kicking the living day lights out of my bladder a few mins ago - I actually thought I got a uti but then realised a few secs later it’s her kicking me .

@MrsD1990 thats so exciting - I still can’t distinguish kicks . I can’t wait till I can say confidently it’s a kick.

I hate the night before a scan, can never sleep. I've been wide awake since 5.30.

The struggle is real today. Had difficulty getting to sleep before 1230 this morning. Then DD began screaming at 0430. Said her mouth and teeth hurt and she had a dream all her teeth fell out on the floor! She was very upset so I ended up in bed with her. Both of us wedged in a single bed with my bum hanging over the edge. I have no idea how she takes up so much space. And she kept trumping at me and laughing. I tried to get out about 0600 when she fell asleep, but Igot stuck and fell out and she heard me so I had to get back in. Then when her Gro clock lit up at 0700 she was all 'sunshine is awake'. Grrrrr
I need a caffeine instant coffee this morning.

I'm not necessarily having any more scans which I suppose is good, but also very nerve wracking.

@Spark27 snap for 4.30 club! Baby woke me up, so from a day before of nearly no kicks they were definitely there last night! Went back to sleep on the sofa with some definite more kicks early this morning

Hi ladies. Havent been on here in a few days so lots of catching up to do. Not feeling great at all. Feeling nervous about my re-scan on Tuesday. The lack of movement and cant shake the anxiety that my waters could go any day now like last time. I was up all night thinking I was leaking fluid. Not sure if it was a half dream or what?!
Also I'm soooooo hot at night, need to invest in a fan for the bedroom.

Thanks everyone! The only thing I can think is that my 12 week scan was at another hospital and this was the dedicated maternity hospital where I’ll be having baby. The other women had a different version of the notes I have as different council area. I was also scanned by the head of the sonography department for some reason - I’m high risk but I didn’t think I’d warrant that. So unsure if I was squeezed in due to covid being at my hospital and they didn’t have enough space so she had to get pulled in to do it 🤪🤪 who knows! I’m glad I stuck to going in, my nerves couldn’t last until Monday and now we can celebrate over our weekend off rather than stress.

@FourPlasticRings @Treacle81 they kept my due date as October 5th, I’m just preparing for a big baby. Especially since I’ve seen dh’s massive head in baby photos 😹😹

@Zaalfruit yay on scan going well! I also really like the leathery bits on the Stomp, they really need a better name though... Some receptionists are awful, too much power. I hate one of my GP ones who always asks what the appointment is for. None of your business hen!

@babymama09 hope you’re feeling better today, don’t blame you on the loft, they’re scary to get into - especially pregnant

@Buzz22 hope you’re okay, the pre scan nerves anew awful. Even though everything should and will be fine, there’s always a voice in the back of your head. Try and distract yourself as much as you can ❤️

Food shop done and already 19 degrees outside 🥵🥵🥵 we are allowed to another households garden so off to my father’s for a BBQ later, cannot wait!!! @Buzz22 I know the wait is horrible but hopefully it flies in for you and the rest of you still to be scanned.
