@MrsMGE thanks for your kind words! I am not panicking just being a total wuss about the pain levels. I absolutely can't have this much pain every day! I didn't go into work today as the pain started ramping up and the idea of sitting in the car for an hour (my commute) was dreadful! I will def call the doctor to discuss the pain and hopefully they can put my mind at ease and maybe prescribe something pregnancy safe... I drink a tonne of water, get a tonne of exercise, and eat loads of fruit and veg every day, but will continue to focus on diet of course. You poor thing suffering IBS - that is not a nice condition, I guess you are an expert in all things bowel related and have suffered a fair amount yourself! Did you say you have your private scan this Saturday? Best of luck with it - I will certainly be thinking of you xxx

@MOGMOGMOG85 hiya, a bit different in that mine was diarrhoea, but I had 2 or 3 nights of this. Pain so bad I cried, just felt like I wanted to pass out. Luckily each time I felt ok by morning so didn’t do anything about it. Not much help but wanted you to know you’re not alone!

Morning all. Sorry I've been quiet lately, work has been manic and my brain is soooo fuzzy at the best of times - the heat is really not helping!

@MOGMOGMOG85 hope you start feeling better soon...I would recommend speaking to your doctor or midwife, it's what they are there for x

I've noticed there are a few on the list who haven't updated in quite some time. Does anyone think we should maybe take them off so they are not getting tagged all the time if they are not around? Hope you are all doing ok x

Say it every week but after the week I've had I cant believe I'm 27weeks now!!! That's almost 3rd trimester 😲😲

Also thinking it might be nice to add if you know if you know what you're having? Ie boy/girl/surprise? We are having a surprise!!

After talking about heartburn guess who forgot to take their omeprazole last night and was crippled....

Morning ladies hope everyone is well . I haven't been on for a few days so just catching up and updating my weeks at the same time. It's lovely to hear that many of you have had positive scans this week and are crossing milestones that haven't been crossed before in pregnancy's, I can't believe that I'm 27 weeks today and only one more week until I'm in the third and last trimester!!
Still not feeling that organised to be honest and it's so hard not being able to go to any shops to buy things but I have bought some bits online and we're hoping to start the nursery next week as my hubby has got some time off work so that's exciting. How are you all finding being pregnant at this time, do you feel your being cared for/looked after enough by the NHS and midwife appointments?

Hi @KRender sorry I was in pain this morning and didn't welcome you to the group - then my chat about my toilet habits took us onto the next page and I think your message might have got lost! Congratulations on your pregnancy and your positive scans. I can't speak of the bleeding and cramping - I had cramping in the early weeks and also spotting on and off including one bright red clot but everything was fine. I didn't tend to get red blood though but maybe others on here can give you advice on that? I seem to remember a number of bleeding incidents in the group.

Also updating the weeks again as I think a few people disappeared off the list with the last update so wanted to rectify it! It seems I'm some sort of hawk-eyed list nazi always noticing if someone gets a date wrong or it doesn't look ordered enough - haha! To be fair I'm at home in pain today with not much to take my mind off it. @Rachael321 I like the idea of including gender/surprise! What does everyone else think?

Thanks @MrsMGE @tmc14 @SammiLou2312 - @tmc14 not nice for you but I was glad to hear that you had it too and I'm not alone! It seems to be night time for me too... so painful! I'm hoping it will be over soon. I'm convinced my sluggish pregnancy digestion is to blame, I'm normally pretty skookum with these things and get over even food poisoning within a day.

I did speak to the doctor and she was really nice. She basically advised a wait and see attitude but said I should go to A&E if it gets unbearable or worse. I was happy with that, I don't think it is anything serious it was just the pain levels first thing this morning that had me quite rattled!

I thought that too @SammiLou2312 and @AnxiousLady1 there are quite a few people on there who haven't been on the thread for ages. Hopefully they are just feeling fine and not anxious so dont need our support any more, but if not it might be best to take off the ones who haven't updated in a lot of weeks?

@MOGMOGMOG85 I also like the idea of adding gender/surprise. I was planning to do it when I know the gender. Which is still 5 weeks away!!!

@KRender- I haven't experienced this, but I follow one other thread on MN (for people due in Nov), and one of the mums to be has experienced very similar - bleeding over a couple of weeks and scans showing baby is fine. I think she had to get some additional testing done. I think it was a subchorionic bleed, and not a cause for great concern, but something to keep an eye on. Usually goes away on its own but I think they generally monitor it to ensure all okay.

@KRender I had bleeding/spotting at 13, 14 and 15 (weirdly always on a Friday afternoon) and everything has been fine. First time was bright red with a decent sized clot and I totally freaked. I didn't have any cramps though. It just shows that every body copes differently with pregnancy

@MOGMOGMOG85 I was trying to remember when I had it but the weeks have all merged together. I haven’t had it for several weeks and I’m 19 weeks now. I do remember when pregnant with my son my digestive system was very up & down though. A very annoying symptom! I hope you don’t get it again x

yesterday afternoon I had more bleeding - still brown/pink, but this morning I had some very small clots too. Not feeling hopeful. I guess I could have strained my cervix from all the horrible digestive troubles I've been having, but they are going to give me a scan today because of the constant abdominal pain I've been having for 3 days :( (I went to A&E yesterday but they couldn't see me until today. In fact they almost discharged me without checking and then I realised that when I said I was pregnant with abdominal pain and bleeding they thought I meant I was bleeding from my bum ?! luckily when I specified the vagina she said "Oh I'll send you for a scan then" - i would have thought that if you say pregnant and bleeding you wouldn't have to be so specific!!!)

I don't know how to feel. At first when I saw the blood I was relatively blasé because its happened before, but the clots don't feel like a good sign. Anyway luckily they are going to check me out.

I managed to sleep last night for the first time in 3 nights, but the pain is constant in my abdomen. I'm hoping it's just a tummy bug that is taking a long time to pass. I'm drinking lots of peppermint tea and doing some exercises to try and help things move along!

When I entered the hospital yesterday my temperature was fine but when she checked a few hours later just before I left I was at 38... she did say to me it would probably be higher if it was covid and its probably from the tummy bug. I dont feel feverish and yesterday afternoon was really hot with me sitting in a hot waiting room for 3 hours so perhaps that's why my temp went up...

ugh not feeling good all round, wish me luck today xxx

Sorry @MOGMOGMOG85 that you are having a rubbish time. Hopefully because you have been poorly it has just irritated the area and it's nothing to worry about. Will keep my fingers crossed for you! Hope time passes very quickly for you today.
I also had to be very specific about where my bleeding was coming from last time - the doctor asked if I was sure! Umm...yes I am! I guess they must have some people who make that mistake which is worrying.

Spotting aside (hopefully nothing as has happened many of us in first trimester) , I really hope they can do/give you something for the abdominal pain as that sounds horrendous to have to keep dealing with.
