@Tiniestsky we shouldn't but we will 🤣🤣

OurLittlePumpkin · 25/05/2020 15:35

Hi @Tiniestsky I'm 15+4 and exhausted. Been snoozing between bed and sofa all day even though it is so nice outside. Never felt fatigue like this before

Tiniestsky · 25/05/2020 15:37

@OurLittlePumpkin so much for it getting better after 12 weeks hey lol
Mind you've we've had so many ups and downs getting to this point that I'll take it, maybe it's a preparation test for when baby is here lol

Hancock2020 · 25/05/2020 21:26

Penny for your thoughts....
Talc, yes or no?
I used it with ds and dd but am not sure about using it this time, is it even safe?

Fouryearslater · 25/05/2020 21:52

@hancock2020 it’s a no from me...

Happymama24 · 25/05/2020 21:55

I wouldn't use talc either. I was never one to use it much but since that big lawsuit against Johnson's where they failed to say that it can cause cancer I dumped any that was in our house.

NatalieH2220 · 25/05/2020 22:43

@Hancock2020 I wouldn't use talc either.

CoBell · 26/05/2020 06:32

Good Morning all! I’ve been to the toilet this morning and noticed a smear of blood on the tissue. Looked brown-ish in colour and only a tiny bit but I am in full panic mode now. I am 16+5 today. I have my 16 week telephone appointment today shall I just mention it and keep an eye on it or do I need to do anything else? Any advice / similar experience appreciated!!

wannabebump · 26/05/2020 06:56

@CoBell as your appointment is today I'd tell them then, and whatever they say to do id follow that xx

wannabebump · 26/05/2020 06:57

@CoBell is your appointment this morning?x

CoBell · 26/05/2020 07:00

@wannabebump, yes I have my appointment this morning at 9.30 so il tell them and see what they advise. Thank you, just need to keep my mind busy while then as my mind is in complete overdrive :(

NatalieH2220 · 26/05/2020 07:17

@CoBell I agree with @wannabebump
From what I understand brown blood is better as it means it's old. I hope your midwife puts your mind at rest.

CoBell · 26/05/2020 07:18

@NatalieH2220, thank you Natalie :) I’m trying not to worry but it’s so hard isn’t it!

wannabebump · 26/05/2020 07:59

@CoBell 9.30 isn't too far away, and that way you'll get to speak to someone (phoning a Maternity team, you might need to leave a message and wait for a call back which could take longer). She'll be lovely and she'll advise you on what you need to do. X

Pink15 · 26/05/2020 08:36

@CoBell agree tell your midwife at your phone call hopefully it's nothing. Keep distracted if you can in the mean time :)

CoBell · 26/05/2020 09:31

@wannabebump, @Pink15. Thank you Smile

TangBloodyFastic · 26/05/2020 10:36

Morning all!
Have just logged into my nhs account and my combined results are back
Tri 18 & 13 has come back "Low Risk"
Downs has come back as "No Risk Selected 1:4627"

Does anyone know what "no risk selected means" I'm assuming it just means low risk but not sure why worded diff?

wannabebump · 26/05/2020 10:51

@TangBloodyFastic maybe different wording because there is a numerical value to it but not the others? I think that's a low score x

Hancock2020 · 26/05/2020 10:56

I'm guessing that yes its low risk, they just forgot to select which risk group ie high/low before putting onto app.
I wouldn't worry.

My app is rubbish, they are putting when I'm having tests done but not the results, even though I've had results.

SqidgeBum · 26/05/2020 11:25

I dont have an app. My trust havent launched it yet. I have had the results of my screenings back by post but I never found out the results of my bloods from my booking appointment. My midwife went into isolation after coming in contact with a CV patient so I have had no idea who my midwife even is for weeks. I have a 16 week appointment tomorrow in the GP though so hopefully I can talk to someone then.

Can I ask, is anyone else worried about their stress levels? I am a bit of a mess for various reasons (job, DD, DHs job may be going in december, worries over CV and another potential lockdown, missing family). I know people always say you should try keep calm when pregnant, so I am also worrying about worrying Hmm. Anyone else in the same boat?

TangBloodyFastic · 26/05/2020 11:25

Thanks @Hancock2020 @wannabebump yeah the wording is odd isn't it but the numbers seem pretty high so happy it is low risk
Maybe the paperwork will be better worded?
It also says urine tests pending but she did all those while I was there and they all came back clear

14+ 3 and have pretty much lost all negative symptoms 🙌🏻 And feeling pretty much human again!

wannabebump · 26/05/2020 11:36

@TangBloodyFastic the wording was a bit funny on mine too. My app isnt updated with urine results from booking in appointment yet ive had the results - I think the app isn't fully utilised by all the departments involved in care for pregnant ladies. My 16 week appointment shows on it but my 20 week scan doesn't - and I've had the letter for weeks now.

@SqidgeBum stressed here too... don't know how to make it better but sending you a virtual handhold! X

Hancock2020 · 26/05/2020 11:45

@Squidgebum me too, but I'm a stressy person anyway.
Mines a combination of my husband and I both work at the same restaurant so we are waiting to go back to work, applying for a mortgage, pregnancy, living in a 1 bed flat with my mother and CV, so yeah, I feel your pain

Pink15 · 26/05/2020 12:30

@CoBell how did you get on?

I've still not had my screening results back - expecting them by post. It's nearly been 2 weeks !!

SqidgeBum · 26/05/2020 12:31

I am a stress person but I am usually older as I keep myself very busy. Now I am not so busy I am a stressed wreck. I cant seem to get my butt up off the couch to make myself busy again. I used to clean A LOT when I was on maternity leave last year. I cant even get back into that. I have no excuse anymore, I have no MS anymore. I just sit and worry.
