@littlegem84 Yes, I was told to take 2 x 75mg aspirin for it. My midwife has told me it is nothing to really worry about. I have to have two extra scans too, at 28 and 34 weeks to check the size of baby

Hi, I’m happy to be joining this thread. First baby due 18/11 :-)

Maybe dh is right maybe I'm being too stroppy and argumentative.
He doesn't even want to speak to me about anything or be near me anymore.

@LozEliza Congratulations!!! How exciting that you know now. You were right about hearing the sonographer slip up then.

@Hancock2020 Aww I'm sure you're not and even if you are it's allowed, you're growing a person! Have a nice bath and some ice cream, that always cheers me up when OH is being grumpy. He will come around.

Had my private scan today! It was amazing. I'm so glad I booked it. And my husband was able to be there and absolutely loved it. He was almost in tears. Baby girl! ☺️ I have a sneaky suspicion she might be an October baby. 😂 but ya never know. Anyone here have their first baby and come early or late?

@futuredreams I went to 42 weeks with my 1st baby. I was sure he would be early as he engaged really early, and was measuring big. But it didn’t count for anything! I ended up being induced. Weirdly I loved the last 2 weeks of pregnancy and didn’t feel fed up at all! x

@SqidgeBum I spoke with my doctor as my boss advised me to and from what he said I got the impression that I shouldn’t be going back. He even said he doesn’t think I need a sick note but I’ve just to let him know if I do. I just don’t see how it would be possible to carry out my job without coming into physical contact with patients. I’m dreading phoning them back on Monday. I hate making a fuss

Aw lovely to hear about the people with the gender scans today. Where are you going for these scans if you don’t mind me asking? I had a early viability scan with Window to the Womb several weeks ago but it says the only scans they are doing currently are for medical concerns only. Thank you.

@futuredreams I was adamant I'd be overdue with my first but he came 8 days early!

@CoBell window to the womb are doing the 16+ weeks scans for "medical reasons" but if you read the detail of what's included you can find out the gender as part of it but don't think they can advertise it as a gender scan at this time as that'd be "non essential". Window to the womb are changing their packages again though from June in line with government guidance so look like they will be offering the proper gender and 4D package again

@CoBell yeh I booked a well being scan but I ticked a box in the office when I got there to find out gender and they actively looked for it for us. They were great. Baby was so so active bouncing about the place. The woman doing the scan was going wow lol

Oh and it was window to the womb ☺️

@futuredreams my first was 12 days overdue and I had to be induced (but had a fantastic 3 hr labour and waterbirth). But they moved me ahead by 6 days at the 12 week scan and I was sure of dates so I think he was actually only 6 days “overdue” anyway.

They’ve done the same with this baby so expecting to be “overdue” again. And as my last labour was so quick I’m terrified I’ll have to go for a home birth!

PS in my NCT group other than the planned sections everyone gave birth within a few days of their due date (except me!)

Hi jumping on hope don’t mind, I’m due 19th November, I’m currently 14weeks and 3 days with my 3rd baby, already have 2 beautiful boys. We have a gender well being scan booked on the 13th June just something to look forward to during lockdown. Congratulations to everyone. Lovely to read some positive threads at the moment with everything going on :-) xxxx
