I'm so excited for you @MummyBearBoo how are you feeling? Sounds like you're all organised and it's not long now until you meet your little girl.

I sympathise with the needing the loo, last time they checked baby is now 3/5 engaged and I can feel it, constantly going to the toilet. And awful sciatica in my bum cheek! 😂

Happy October ladies!

I can't believe it's actually becoming our time! Feels like it's dragged but it's going to zoom too fast for the last few weeks. Tell you what though, you couldn't pay me any amount of money to go back to the before 20 week mark. I'm done 😁

MummyBearBoo · 01/10/2020 09:45

Yes I started needing to pee more when she got to 3/5 engaged but now the pressure and any movement she makes mean I literally have to run to the loo even more!!

My legs aren't as bad since she been fully engaged so hopefully your bum cheek will be better when they're fully engaged for you!!

I feel ok most of the time it's just getting uncomfortable and night time even if I don't eat too much I still feel uncomfortably full!! Plus she's still sticking her feet out of my sides!! Xxx

calimommy · 01/10/2020 15:55

Oh I'm so happy for you @MummyBearBoo . I remember your BFP and then the anxious wait for test results. Xxx

MummyBearBoo · 04/10/2020 08:41

Thanks @calimommy -39 weeks down induction tomorrow hopefully see my baby girl in the next couple of days!! How's everyone else getting on? Xxx

MummyBearBoo · 04/10/2020 08:43

MummyBearBoo · 04/10/2020 09:26

@Hatepickinganame wow not long at all that seems to have gone quickly but then I think my last trimester has flown but the first 28 weeks seemed to drag so much!!

Doubt I'll get any sleep tonight nervous and excited think we're pretty much ready tho!! Xx

whatsthecraic91 · 04/10/2020 10:34

I'm just wondering how you're doing @Piglet11 xx

Piglet11 · 04/10/2020 13:24

Sorry for completely falling off the radar! I ended up just having scare after scare during my pregnancy and ended up just taking myself away from all types of forums. I gave birth on the 19th of September via emergency csection after my waters broke at 34 weeks and 5 days. I had a girl (Libby Bella at 4lb 13.5oz) and a boy (Jack James at 4lb 14.5oz) both needed NICU for 12 days and now we are in my local maternity until tomorrow. It is an absolute dream come true, couldn’t be more in love! The surprise of what they were when they came out was amazing and I felt back to normal after a couple of days after the section. Hope everyone is getting on well! I need to look back and catch up on all of your experiences x

Hatepickinganame · 04/10/2020 16:24

@piglet11 oh wow! Congratulations!! How are you all doing? Gorgeous names by the way!

Hatepickinganame · 04/10/2020 23:10

Congratulations @piglet11! Wonderful news and lovely names !! Good luck for finally getting to come home tomorrow xx

Good luck for today @MummyBearBoo!!! Fingers crossed for a smooth induction and that you don't have to wait too long to meet your little one Xx

On the 3 week count down until my induction now! They will review it weekly with a growth scan every Tues until then - as she is measuring 95th percentile still estimated a whopping 6lbs9oz last Wednesday at only 35w they may bring it forward!!

whatsthecraic91 · 05/10/2020 14:44

@Piglet11 congratulations!! Lovely names, hope you are all doing well x

@MummyBearBoo hope everything's going smoothly 😊

I can't wait to finish work 8 weeks to go!!

Wise0wl · 05/10/2020 17:27

Ahh @Hatepickinganame are you working from home? It’s the one silver lining of covid, at least no commuting!

@Talcott2007 3 weeks! I can’t believe it’s so soon! Are you feeling ready?

professorastrocat · 05/10/2020 20:56

Exciting @Talcott2007 keep us updated if your date gets moved closer 😊

OP posts:
Talcott2007 · 05/10/2020 21:37

Feeling as prepared as I can be I guess @Wise0wl.

I'm Totally on top of all the -'practicalities' bags packed and everything organised and set up ready for coming home from hospital.

They only expect DD2 to need to stay in NICU for a couple of days for monitoring once she is here as a precaution (they don't expect her heart issues to actually make her 'poorly' immediately so she should be like any other baby) But obviously there is still until an element of the unknown until they complete her 1st echocardiagram and 100% confirm that everything aligns with what they have been able to see via my scans.

Also with DD1 starting reception a lot of my attention as been on her and trying to ensure she gets into a good routine so its actually been good to have other things to focus on 'emotionally' so as not to dwell on all the heart stuff either.

Wise0wl · 05/10/2020 21:47

@Talcott2007 it sounds like you’ve got it all under control! I hope you can find a bit of time to put your feet up and relax beforehand. Keep us posted! ☺️
