I'm still measuring big took my DD to school yesterday and on the way to pick her up 3 complete strangers asked me how long I had left!! One of which was a postman who shouted across the road to ask! I said 3 weeks coz it's 3 weeks on Monday til my induction- one of them said she thought I looked ready to pop!!

I am 36 weeks tomorrow and am struggling with the weight and my SPD now just walking to school it's only 8 mins away!

I'm pretty terrified coz DD was 5lb 8oz even though her growth scans were fine (and she's now above 50th centile on height and 50th on weight) and that hurt enough this one us already 5lb. 9oz in 3 more weeks they anticipate her being 8lb 7iz!! Xxx

@Talcott2007 yay that's great news!

I can't believe some babies on this group will be here soon!! I feel like I'm miles behind 😂🙈 @Hatepickinganame I think we are the latest due dates?

professorastrocat · 12/09/2020 09:53

Same walking to school @MummyBearBoo I'm now as slow as my son...!

There's @calimommy aswell who is due April 😊 we need a more appropriate name for our next thread

calimommy · 12/09/2020 13:28

@whatsthecraic91 no I'm ages away, either end March or 2 April. I've never gone over, my last baby was born on his due date and the first two were a bit early. I'll find out at my next scan. I measured ahead on the last one and my babies never ever measure ahead, i usually have to be adamant to keep my due date, so I think this one might be further ahead than I realise, but not by much.

I had my Panorama test done during the week so on tender hooks waiting on that now. I'll also find out what baby is but I'm already just considering boy names tbh ☺️

Talcott2007 · 12/09/2020 14:11

Seeing as people mentioned estimated weights - at my scan last Tuesday (32w) they said little miss estimated weight was already 4lbs12oz!!! Shock She is over 90% on all the measurements they do so is in proportion tbf and as GD was ruled out by two GGT's during the course of pregancy so thats just apparently how she is!! Another reason to be glad that I'm being popped at 38w - they think she would be 9lbs+ if we went to 40w!

whatsthecraic91 · 13/09/2020 08:57

@calimommy oh yay! How many weeks are you now? Hope you're feeling ok! This one might be early too if my placenta hasn't moved by 32 week scan!

Hatepickinganame · 13/09/2020 10:54

@whatsthecraic91 im 11th dec. Feeling giant with 13 weeks to go lol pic is 5 weeks vs 26 weeks.... growth scan next week to see how big she is!

Love the bump pics!

@Talcott2007 good to have a big healthy baby (though agree I’m not sure I’d be that keen on 9lb+ - ouch!)

Just wondering how do you know the estimated weights if you don’t have a scan? I won’t have any more unless they have growth concerns, but everything is just below 60th centile at the mo?

professorastrocat · 13/09/2020 21:07

@Wise0wl there's bound to be some chart online somewhere that shows centiles to weights (sorry not useful of me!). The scans are more accurate than the midwife measurements obviously though even scans can be out. I'm on 36th centile scan wise (4lb2oz est. at 32 weeks) but midwife measuring tape thing as larger than that.
As long as you're following a curve and there's no concern I wouldn't worry too much about weight now or estimated birth weight 😊

Amazing, thank you @professorastrocat!

calimommy · 16/09/2020 03:22

Hey all! I got the results of my panorama test back today, baby is low risk for everything thankfully x but I'm absolutely reeling with the news that baby is a GIRL 😱 After 3 boys I thought finding out the gender was a formality. Even had some boy names picked out. 😂🤷‍♀️
💚💙💛💜

Hatepickinganame · 16/09/2020 09:11

@calimommy ah thats amazing news, congrats!!!

professorastrocat · 16/09/2020 11:05

@calimommy so glad everything is fine! And congratulations! 🥰 back to the drawing board on the list of girls names !

@calimommy aww lovely!! You get to buy pink 😊x

Hatepickinganame · 16/09/2020 14:56

Bit of a random one, whats everyone planning to give birth in? My first choice is a water birth/labour so just a bikini top, but not sure im going to be allowed it and i genuinely cant remember what i wore for my last birth.... my first was a nightie my mum asked me to wear for sentimental reasons. 2nd was water so just had a vest... help!

calimommy · 16/09/2020 15:41

@Hatepickinganame my labours always go so quickly I don't have much choice and deliver in what I walked in wearing

Hatepickinganame · 16/09/2020 16:13

Ha @calimommy i was induced last time, it was over in about 3 hours! So maybe ill end up the same lol

Wise0wl · 16/09/2020 20:21

Congratulations @calimommy! So thrilled for you.

I have no idea what I should wear and hadn’t really thought about it at all, but given I’d like a water birth I’m going to find a bikini top that fits at the least...

How are you all doing? I can’t believe how fast this is going and how soon baby will be here. Who’s got the first due date?

DPSawMyUsername · 17/09/2020 13:09

@Hatepickinganame I've still got the long white vest top I was wearing 14 years ago with DD. It's a bit grey now but with the EMCs last time it's not stained or anything lol, going for natural this time and I don't mind it getting messy.

Great news @calimommy 💗

7 weeks left for me today, sick of feeling like a slug 😆 Moping around looking for some sort of motivation. Not even pulled a bag down to open never mind start packing it.

Hatepickinganame · 17/09/2020 21:38

@DPSawMyUsername 12 weeks left for me, mat leave starts in 6 weeks! Pulled it forward by 2 weeks cause i was struggling so much already!!

DPSawMyUsername · 17/09/2020 22:35

@Hatepickinganame you gotta do what you gotta do! I've been back on furlough for 4 weeks now and will be till maternity kicks in at the end of October. It sounds great
In theory but it's boring and lonely in reality.

MummyBearBoo · 18/09/2020 20:19

2 weejs in Monday so scary!!

Lovely bump pics - mine is now ridiculously huge as i'm nearly 37 weeks and the bump is still measuring two weeks ahead with a baby thats close to 7lbs!! I'm so heavy that I'm really struggling to walk!!

Congrats on the girl @calimommy xx

Wise0wl · 18/09/2020 23:17

😱 @MummyBearBoo that has gone so quickly!! How are you feeling?

I might be working all the way up to 39 weeks at this rate... I’m getting really tired but it’s so busy and there’s so much to do!

MummyBearBoo · 19/09/2020 09:47

Tired and sore and ready to meet the little one! I'm so heavy and my leg is so sore I can believe I've got to put up with it for another two weeks I'm getting bigger and so struggling more everyday! If I stay two week ahead ill look almost 41 weeks by the time of my induction!!

My mum's also got corona Virus but she's had it for a week and seems slightly better they're still hoping to come up in 2 weeks to look after DD!

DD seems to like school so that's a relief!! Had no tears - well except mine!! Xx
