Lovely nurseries, ladies! The nursing chairs look very comfy.
@memh I love the wallpaper and yellow walls
@zscaler Your plan sounds fab, I love rainbow colours.
I remember the anticipation and excitement when we prepared DS's bedroom (our PFB)
His room has rich yellow curtains with grey foxes, one wall in the same rich yellow, the other walls pale grey, and white furniture. We got a cot bed which is now in bed mode since he is 3 (sniff!)
I am now pregnant with DC2 and baby will go in the room which is currently DH's office. We plan to move his office elsewhere but have quite a bit of work and reorganisation to do first which is very tricky under lockdown with no childcare
However, I have decided to cheer myself up by doing some planning, at least. I've found some curtains we like so I think I'll buy them and then try and get some paint samples so we can choose a colour that goes nicely... we want pale green.
It's a small room (the fate of DC2!) so I don't think we'll set up a cot in there yet, maybe just a chest of drawers with a changing mat on the top, plus a compact armchair. Baby will be in the bedside crib in our room to begin with, anyway.
I would like to decorate and prepare before baby arrives, if we can, because I am sure we won't have the time or energy afterwards!
One thing we have in DS's room which I can't find anymore is a blackout roller blind with a metal rod/wand that you twist to put the blind up and down. I can only find blinds with cords (which I don't want even if it is secured safely) or cordless blinds with weird mechanisms make it roll up by itself if you pull it (somehow)... but based on the reviews they can be temperamental. I don't suppose anyone has seen a blackout blind with a rod/wand by any chance?!
