It's only 3mm.. which online says that's 5 weeks but the nurses were adamant I was 6.. they both said "looks great, your about 6 weeks" ugh I don't know.. my sister said I'm just finding something to worry about 😂

I've got another scan two weeks today so that will hopefully tell me more.

Feels like time is going backwards not forwards 🙈🙈

@Rnic1x yeh I've got them in the right place, they probably are just taking the edge off.. where I'm wanting all nausea to go 😂😂

Anyone else have an INSANE sense of smell??? God, I have this lovely air diffuser and I can't have it on, the smell is awful 😂😂 xx

@calipoppy Thankyou, it does make sense doesn't it. The scan was done on my tummy too, so I don't know if that makes a difference?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ the thing is, if this was someone else asking this question I'd be replying the exact same.. it's annoying how you can't make sense in your own head isn't it? Xx

@djmbaker Mine measured 18.4mm and was dated at 8+3, but online it says that 8 weeks is 23mm, so I'm choosing to ignore the numbers online!
Yes the sense of smell thing was my very first symptom, drives me nuts! And DH keeps forgetting and cooking smelly foods, so I have to hide in a different part of the house! Can't even stand the smell of my deodorant, have to hold my nose whilst I apply it 😂

@djmbaker I know! Common sense ones put the window when it's about our own situation! But that's why I find this group so reassuring to see we are all experiencing the same things! I convince myself my symptoms are abnormal at least once a day 😅

@Marshmallow1102 ah ok, so online it says it should be 6mm at 6 weeks.. so I'm only 3mm behind.. which is similar to your difference in measurements really.
Ugh I never even thought of measurements!!

Morning everyone. Feeling grot today first actual sickness came this morning. Kind of relieved as the nausea leading to nothing in a way is worse? Like I feel better now I've been sick...

@CooperLooper I would love to join but probably after my 12 week scan when I know things are okay?

@djmbaker sorry you've been feeling so grot I've been reading just not posting the last day or so!! Staying on here and anonymous until I know all is okay with baby🤞🤞 I'd like to think that the fact I feel awful means the baby is thriving 🤣

@Marshmallow1102 my husband made homemade scotch eggs yesterday.. I'm allergic to uncooked eggs anyways so the thought would turn my stomach normally never mind the additional pregnancy symptoms could have killed him when I smelt the oil going 🤣🤣

@Katbaby OMG scotch eggs 😂 I would not cope at all!! I don't know anyone who makes scotch eggs at home 😂

I don't use facebook, so won't be switching over, that's actually why I ended up on this thread because the other December group I was in moved onto facebook and the chat stopped! 😔

I think my cravings have started early... I haven't had porridge in years probably 4 or 5 this morning I've wolfed a bowl down enjoyed it more than anything I've had in the passed month, I could just eat another bowl 🤦🏻‍♀️ bizzare thing to love but oh god it was great 😂

Ohhh @katbaby I was going to message and see if you were ok you've been quiet, how you feeling after you've been sick? Hopefully you feel better soon. My scan is tomorrow I'm scared now 🙈 x

I know @Marshmallow1102 I couldn't believe it. Its cos our friends made him one the other day and he got the idea from them could have killed them too haha. Worst oily cooking smell in the world 😣😣

@Rnic1x oh yeah I've been lurking just feeling pretty grotty. Yeah feel a bit better after being sick. Oh my god I bet your so excited /nervous for tomorrow!! Can't wait to see your scan pic 🤞🤞

@katbaby I really am I don't know how I'll feel, I thought it was Saturday today so I was thinking 2 days time but it's at 11 tomorrow so I'll be there this time 🙈 I have my next appointment on 11th June so it feels like a life time away. There are no private clinics around me and I don't think it's classed as essential is it to drive over an hour away 🤦🏻‍♀️ I think once I see everything is ok tomorrow I'll stop worrying so much, I found out nearly a month ago that month has gone so fast so only another one till next scan xx

@Rnic1x that's how I feel about seeing it like it will put my mind at rest, I have this horrible thought that they are gonna scan me and say 'what made you think you are pregnant there's no sign of that?' which I know is ridiculous after 10 positive tests, sickness and killer nipples 🤣🤣. I think it's just hard to believe it's real haha.

Is the 11th June your 12 week one?

@katbaby ohh they won't be saying that 😂😂😂 yeah 12 weeks then, which will be nice as we're supposed to be going on holiday on 6th June for 2 weeks so it's nice to have something to look forward to when we can't go away x

Aw nice @Rnic1x I imagine my 12 week scan will be around middle of June, I was supposed to be going to Barcelona with my mum then too so will take the edge off missing my holiday. Gutted I won't see Barcelona again went with jordan last year and loved it! We are going to rearrange our September holiday to next year as well and just add baby on nearer the time.

@katbaby I absolutely love Barcelona 😍😍😍 I'm thinking a few holidays next year are needed can't cope not having any this year 😂 x

anyone on here of a raised /bigger bmi? mine is over 50 and im totally dreading the scans tbh. (yes i know i need to shift it) hence this was a surprise.

I will still be on here, will maybe move to facebook if all is ok later on!

My BMI was over 40 with my first and the scans were all fine even at 9 weeks so don’t worry too much!

@calpolatdawn my BMI is 37 I think. I joined a gym a month before lockdown to try and lose some weight. Really annoying! Are you taking 5mg Folic Acid too? I'm a bit worried about being judged for being overweight and pregnant at scans and appointments etc.

@CooperLooper sorry I'm not on FB! How are you doing now? Did you get your boot off?
