@Wearenotyourkind also please don't worry about your BMI. Mine is the same and the midwife wasn't bothered in the slightest. I'm on the higher dose folic acid, and she gave me the option of being referred to a 'healthy eating plan' if I wanted to but it's completely optional. She said I'll also be consultant led (so no birth units, it has to be in hospital) and I'd likely have more scans. I'm at higher risk of GD so I think it's related to that because of weight, suspected PCOS and my sister having GD in both her pregnancies - I'm not going to complain at more scans though x

Thank you for the reassurance @CooperLooper I think we probably feel more sensitive about our weight at the moment than normally.

Thank you very much for the reassurance. I have an early scan on Tuesday then my first midwife call on the 22nd. Looking forward to actually seeing someone. I feel pretty anxious.

Yeah I don't think I'd mind more scans either. Got my booking in appt via phone on Wednesday next week, so will obviously discuss then. No sign of 12 week scan date yet. 7 weeks today and feels so long until 12 weeks!

With DS I had extra scans due to BMI and pcos, never got gestational diabetes. I was consultant led and she was lovely. The only downside for me was I wasnt able to get off the bed while in labour as they monitor as soon as you go in (this was 2014 so may be different now)

I have a high bmi too so I'm on the high dose of folic acid. Felt so guilty the other day as i forgot to take it and my vitamins. I take it at night and only remembered the next day. My problem at the moment is i want to eat everything 😆

Went to the pharmacy open on Sunday local to pick up my anti sickness tabs and the pharmacist refused to give them to me when I said it was "morning" sickness!

Hope you're all okay I slept 12 hours last night! Feel a little brighter today. I definitely need to get a move on with my housework though. 🙃

@dixiedo what!!! That's outrageous.. did you get them though?? Were they through your doctor as well? Refused! Crikey..

I have managed today to FINALLY eat a whole meal without feel sick and unable to finish.. my partner looked like he was going to give me a standing ovation when I put my fork down!

yeah im on 5mg of folic acid, ive always been big but quit smoking and a few other traumatic events and i just piled on the weight, i feel so ashamed although tbh other than weight health wise im absolutely fine. but i should not get complacent.

I've done my house work today, well every room I've walked into to do something I've sat there for half an hour before actually doing anything

Managed to eat some lunch but everything is making me feel so sick 🤢 I feel like that's all I say these days.

Ohh I haven't got FB either but il stay here aslong as the threads running. I enjoy reading the posts even if I miss half of the convos. Sometimes I feel not part of the group stupid I know but I'm feeling emotional and my anxiety is playing up at the moment is anyone else feeling like this?

@ElectricTonight aww bless you, I think this moves so fast I get lost with it all and forget to read some bits.

How you feeling now? Have you tried sickness bands? They work loads for me, I had a bath before and forgot to put them back on I felt sick not long after :( there back on now.

How far on are you? X

@Rnic1x Thankyou for the reply. Oh no I'm happy the bands are working for you, I'm going to have a look online and get them ordered ASAP, it was only in the mornings at first and now it's all day!

I am around 6/7 weeks, different calculators are giving me different dates, I can't wait for a scan to find out the true due date.

How soon did the nausea kick in for you? I first started feeling sick on CD30! X

@ElectricTonight I got some from Amazon only about £5 working so well. I'm having a scan tomorrow I'm excited now, I'm roughly 7+3, I started feeling sick about 2/3 weeks ago haven't physically been sick but feeling so rough from it, seems to have settled down so much though xx

I’m the same @ElectricTonight with the different dates. I’m 9+1 today according to LMP so most calculators are telling me Dec 12th, however I know I have a longer cycle so I’ve also seen Dec 17th and Dec 19th!

@Rnic1x oh that's brilliant I order quite a few things from Amazon defo comes in handy.
Sometimes I think nausea feels worse than actually being sick, I bet you can't wait how exciting, il be popping in more for updates 🥰

I'm waiting for the post to arrive with my appointments so hopefully in the next few days I can have a date to look forward to! I haven't got an early scan booked or anything so it will be 12 weeks.

@YahBasic sometimes I wish I followed ovulation with testing , and even if it's a couple days out it doesn't make a difference but it does at the same time 😂🙈 woah nine weeks seem ages away for me! I'm not sure if I ovulated on CD10 or very late around CD16 but with a 25 day cycle I'm hoping it's CD10 x

Oh man after feeling so good yesterday today I've been so rough! My nausea is not as bad but I've got a mega headache and so shivery! This is like 30 hangovers in a row 😭

So I've got my anti sickness bands on and not working yet! Think today's been my worst day for sickness and nausea I just want to cry!

The bands are so tight as well like I know they are supposed to be but my wrists feel itchy when I take them off. Had to take them off earlier for a shower

Definitely suffering with a low mood today and have got to host a zoom quiz tonight and I really don't wannnaaaa 😭😭

@katbaby mine are tight and itchy too, I just try and stretch them every now and again :( I've taken them off for the night now hopefully it's ok x

Evening all! I am very sad but pretty certain we've miscarried today. I started bleeding at around 1, went to doctors straight away but as I arrived it looked more like spotting and they said It was too early at 7 weeks to check with a scan anyway so sent me home. But have been bleeding heavy since 4-5. Really tough day, maybe I jinxed it joining the Facebook group this morning :( I wish you all the best and good luck for the future! I will be deleting the app for now but crossing fingers DH and I can get pregnant soon again!

I also found mine too tight. I'm on day 3 of anti sickness medication and it's just not working. Going to call doctor on Tuesday and see if theres something else I can try.
I'm miserable. I really want this baby but I just do not get on with pregnancy!
I feel like every possible symptom I could have, I've got...in abundance! Positive signs but so hard to deal with.
Sorry for the moan!
