@Nic2908 oh good yes we can support each other on the 24th! At least I won't feel as clueless as to my dates when they ask as I will have had my private one by then.

Awww thank you everyone! 🥰I thought I was 7+2 and they dated me at 7+4, I guess a better estimate will happen at the 12 week scan?
I've got my booking in appointment next week.

@ChristmasEve2020 the anxiety definitely eases once you're there and they're doing the scan. I'm the same as you, was so nervous and it just amplified the closer we got to the clinic.

Does anyone feel a little surreal being pregnant? Like I know I am, but it doesn't really feel real? It's like it hasn't really hit me yet even though I write on this thread daily about it.

I am really worried now as I am sure I saw a bit of brown when wiping and have now convinced myself that I am having a miscarriage. I know I can’t do anything about it but just feel gutted 😢

@PocoyoandEllie hey. I've had a bit of spotting too - only brown blood. I've read it can be really common in early pregnancy. Try not to worry for now 💗

@PocoyoandEllie I had 3 random bouts of spotting too, only when I wiped and a very light pink twinge. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done) 💖

My early scan people said pink or brown spotting can be very common but if it turns into bleeding to call the hospital.

Welcome to the new ladies. I'm exhausted. I had an argument with DP last night and we never argue and it's really upset me.
Over nothing but he had a couple of drinks in the sun and he wasn't listening to what I was saying so I got a bit annoyed with him and boom he went mad. He was out of order he has apologised all day but he said some really hurtful things and I'm already feeling so rubbish about myself. Going to bed now to watch girl tv leaving him downstairs alone. Xx

Funny reading down thread about being sick on a walk. I took the boys for a walk to the beach yesterday and I always take snacks because well, kids. Anyway got on the front and I felt it for a while. I threw up in a sandwich bag 🙃 I was laughing to myself as last week I thought I would pee in one now I'm being sick in one.

@dixiedo sorry to hear you had an argument with your DP last night! I've gotten so sensitive from the hormones and emotional, and I guess that's normal so I believe that whatever he said to you would have felt 10 times worse! Hope you have been able to talk it out today and you are going into the bank holiday weekend with positivity!

It's going to be nice tomorrow so my DH and I are having a bbq day! All I seem to want to do is eat! I'm constantly hungry and thirsty! Think this could suggest a baby boy maybe? Glad that I don't have the sickness which most of you seem to have! I was really bad with travel sickness growing up so not sure if the theory about who gets it fully works.

My app turned 7 weeks today, it's like Christmas every week seeing the change of that little 3D image!

@SwedishAnna thank you. I really appreciate that. You're probably right I'm overthinking too and holding the grudge.. he's a good man and I know he probably feels worse for upsetting me.

I feel horrible in general. I just checked out ASOS as everything feels tight on my waistline and I couldn't choose anything because I just feel blah.
Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. !!

Hi im 8 weeks today so roughly 18th December due date, how is everyone feeling atm?

Hello! Thought I would join this thread as I am due 2nd Dec so it's great to join a community with others due around that time! Has anyone else been gaining weight but also losing weight each week? I have been slowly putting on weight but this week lost weight with no nausea or anything - hopefully it is normal!

Congratulations @Blondieblue and @calpolatdawn 🥰 I haven't been feeling great with nausea and sickness, how are you both feeling?

@notalwaysalondoner I would certainly give them a call and see if that's a possibility! If it was me I think I would prefer notes to stay in one place as opposed to being transferred - just in case. I'm sure if you explain the situation they can change things around 😊

How exciting, we've also been looking at a private scan since finding out that dp can't come, but so far the ones I've found near me also don't let partners in 😟

Thank you @Jasminex1 how are you feeling? I've been very lucky so far - felt extremely tired and a bit icky for a few weeks and also very hungry but the last week I feel like I've turned a corner and feeling very normal!

Have our 12 week scan in 2 weeks so can't wait to check everything is ok and get that reassurance! We also did the early 7 week scan which I would highly recommend to get the reassurance that you are actually pregnant haha

@Blondieblue I turned 7 weeks on Monday and the nausea hit me like a truck, it's awful. I'm currently still laying in bed dreading getting up because I know the motion will set me off 😟 I'm glad you're feeling better, I can't wait to reach that stage!

That's so soon how exciting!! Are they allowing partners in where you are?

@Jasminex1 yes I think week 7 and 8 were the worst but power through and there is light at the end of the tunnel! No I don't think they are letting partners in which is really sad :-( let's wait until Sunday though and see what boris announces! Fingers crossed it will ease soon!

I felt really rough yesterday, migraine, nausea to the point I felt like my insides were being crushed. Feel better today but the nausea has defo increased, going to get into the garden this afternoon for some fresh air.

@PocoyoandEllie i had spotting too , take it easy today, there are so many reasons for spotting and brown blood is old blood so that's a good sign that it's nothing sinister.

Is anyone doing the picnic thing today, celebrating ? X

Hi @calpolatdawn I’m 8 weeks today too! Feeling nauseous and I’ve booked in for a private scan on Wednesday... also feeling exhausted!

the nausea is horrible and the light headedness and dizzy feeling (only if ive been stood in the kitchen a while) i think its the strong smells. ooh private scan? i had my booking the other day, i dont have a scan appointment yet.

Morning ladies! Forgot to take my sickness meds when I woke up this morning 🤢 and got my early scan at 12.30. So very nervous and nauseous! Need to get showered and ready, but can't move off the sofa for fear of being sick!!

Hi I was wondering if I could join? Found out on Good Friday we were pregnant again. We had 3 miscarriages before we had our girls and boy. We have a 6 year old, 4 year old and last year we lost our wee boy shortly after birth he had Edward’s Syndrome so it’s been a tough year. We only decided in March to start trying again, I don’t think I was expecting us to get pregnant so quickly. When we seen the positive result I was so upset I was so happy but also felt guilty about our wee boy from last year. Such strange emotions that I wasn’t expecting!

Had a lot of sickness from week 5 now heading into week 8 and my appetite is something else I have to be eating every two hours or else I feel really sick with hunger, at this stage I’m going to end up the size of a house!

@Blondieblue I hope so! I would love it if things were eased off enough for him to come with me, although I'm not ready to go out and see people yet! We haven't told anyone yet so I'm sure people will think it's strange that we're still keeping distance.

Afternoon everyone, these sickenss bands are working a treat. I'm having to take them off now though because we're going for a walk (I'm in a t-shirt) and don't want to risk people seeing them 😂 I haven't felt sick since having them on 2 days ago though! Been at work all morning so looking forward to a walk and chill out this afternoon. Had my midwife phone appointment today and she's lovely which has made me feel so much better. How's everyone feeling? X

Afternoon everyone! I've managed a good breakfast and lunch today I'm still tired but slept a lot better and feeling a lot more myself which is a relief. If I get too hungry I start to feel sick again though. Good luck @Marshmallow1102 on your scan hope it went well.

People who have had their booking in phone appointments how long did they last and kind of things they ask?
