@Pink15 I've been trying to avoid cooking as much as I can but its proving difficult in this house 🙄
I'm proud to say I managed to eat all my dinner today 🥳

MissSparkles81 · 23/04/2020 18:08

@Sakura54 I am so so sorry lovely. Thinking of you xx

60sPony · 23/04/2020 18:11

@Sakura54 sorry to hear your news. Rest up and take care of yourself. Hope you’re doing ok.

@Pumpkin108 being r- is no big deal... just an additional injection. Does your husband know his blood type? If he’s negative your DC will be negative so technically you wouldn’t need an injection but I know midwifes like to give it anyway in case you’re fibbing about who the dad is 😂

@ParisInTheSpringtime thanks for the info... sorry to hear it’s a bit disorganised... let’s hope it’s more together by the 16 week appointment. They were so brilliant last time I fear I may be disappointed this time

JM0934 · 23/04/2020 18:14

@ AnxiousLady1 ohhh! Good luck! You have to let us know how it goes!! I think everyone is in the same boat, it’s so hard not to worry isn’t it? I’m Trying to stay positive!

BuffaloCauliflower · 23/04/2020 18:15

@DanceM1 I’ll be 12+5 going of my dates, but I also had a private scan yesterday at 10 weeks and was dated big at 10+5 (my dates are correct baby is just bigger, a week either way is normal apparently)

Rolly123 · 23/04/2020 18:22

@seventhrow maybe you could ask the midwife to weigh you but not tell you the number? Surely that's fine unless they are concerned about something.

@Anothercliche do you know if there is a maximum amount of vitamin D you should take? I had quite strong tablets before which I liked but the midwife has given me ones with everything in and the vit D level is almost 10 times less which is crazy.

mrsAndeke · 23/04/2020 18:23

@Sakura54 I am so sorry, be kind to yourself xxxThanks

Anothercliche · 23/04/2020 18:35

@Rolly123 the minimum recommended vitamin d amount for pregnant women is 10 ug/d, unless you have a blood test showing low vitamin d levels. I wouldn't go above 50 ug/d unless you've been shown to have low vitamin d as there are some cases of hypercalcaemia at those levels. Smile

Rolly123 · 23/04/2020 18:38

@Anothercliche thank you for the info! Will just keep taking the ones the midwife gave me then.

Pippop21 · 23/04/2020 18:41

Whats place marking??

FilthyforFirth · 23/04/2020 18:44

Oh @Sakura54 I am so sorry. I did wonder when we didnt hear from you earlier. Take care xx

MissingMo · 23/04/2020 19:08

Thinking of you @Sakura54. So sorry

JJxo · 23/04/2020 19:30

Hi Ladies,

I’ve missed the last two threads as things are moving so fast. Hope you are all doing ok.

I’m 12+1 days and have my scan tomorrow. Feeling excited but very nervous. MS has gone hooray. Anyone at similar stage and starting to feel normal again?!

excitednerves · 23/04/2020 19:38

Hi all joining this new thread. I missed most of the last one.

@Sakura54 so so sorry to hear your news Flowers

Still just over 3 weeks to my scan. Trying not to waste more time between now and then.

MoreGinPlease2020 · 23/04/2020 19:46

@JJxo I'm feeling much more normal (not quite so desperately hungry anymore) but my boobs were hurting more than ever last night. My scan is tomorrow morning.

noonaah · 23/04/2020 19:50

@IAmSeriousAndDontCallMeShirley this is exactly what’s happened to me over the last couple of days! I was so happy to not be feeling sick and exhausted, lasted about half a day before I thought “hang on, why am I not feeling sick and exhausted?!” I’m sure it’s fine, symptoms do disappear near the end of the first trimester, I just wasn’t expecting it to be so sudden!

BabyKnighty1 · 23/04/2020 19:54

My scan is next week, bang on 12 weeks. Where I am (not in the UK) we don’t even have McDonald’s or any takeaways open under our lock down. I’m usually a really good eater but you bet yourself next week when they loosen the rules I’ll be in that McDonald’s drive through 😂

bluebell94 · 23/04/2020 19:58

@BabyKnighty1 McDonald's isn't open in the UK now either and I was desperate for one yesterday! 🙁 DIY Big Macs at home just aren't the same 😂

Natopp · 23/04/2020 20:13

@Sakura54 I'm so so sorry.

littlegem84 · 23/04/2020 20:18

Good news here! After a very symptomless pregnancy and being convinced something was terribly wrong, we got to see our little bean today. Wriggly as anything and posing for the scan pics 😀

Hancock2020 · 23/04/2020 20:34

@littlegem84 yey 🥳

Tonicandgin · 23/04/2020 20:50

I'm 10 (+3) and today I feel horrendous.

Enormous influx of hormones and I woke up feeling tired and oh the nausea, emotions all over the place (crying about everything!) and struggling to eat.

Covid isn't helping obvs, along with being furloughed and worrying about my job and what if I'm redundant (!) My brain is on overdrive.

I'm hoping it all calms down a bit. Scan in just under 2 weeks and then I get to tell the kids, although I suspect they already know - kids are so intuitive. My 6 yr old and her brother were playing 'babies' incessantly (which is unusual) and my 6 yr old said 'Mummy, I have 3 babies, my house is chaos!'

Err.. you said it dd. Confused

Pink15 · 23/04/2020 21:05

@littlegem84 congrats!! So happy for you :) (btw you might want to remove your name / date of birth from top left corner of the scan if you can crop it after you've posted?) x

Pizzamyhart · 23/04/2020 21:31

Hi everyone, I kept meaning to post on one of the other threads but I kept forgetting. I'm 9+5. My scan is the 11th may. I've had really awful nausea until this week and it has started to ease, which of course sent me into a panic about my symptoms disappearing. Has anyone had an large blobs of cm (tmi). I don't remember having with my ds.

littlegem84 · 23/04/2020 21:36

@Pink15 ah crap thanks for flagging! I got too excited...
