Hey all, just got my bfp which puts me on course for a Christmas baby! According to my calendar it will be around 27th Dec but we'll get a better idea once we get the 12 week scan. I've already got a handsome 2 year old boy. ♥️Anyone else due à Christmas baby or fancy some pregnancy chat?

So glad I'm not the only one! Imagine how amazing it will taste after the baby is born!
@notalwaysalondoner I bet your mum is so suspicious 😂 could you pretend your doing an alcohol free challenge like sober October 😂 Bet she will definitely catch on if you get morning sickness
@Katbaby thanks for the tips, I will look out for nosecco and also get some no alcohol beer. My husband says he's not going to drink in solidarity but I'll see how long that lasts for 🤣
Glad you've started to get the boob soreness (in the nicest way possible) that's a good sign. Feels odd doesn't it x

dixiedo · 26/04/2020 09:01

@Katbaby @notalwaysalondoner
Yes to the sixth sense !!!
My mum FaceTimed last night and she was asking questions. I said yeah I'm a bit tired and straight away she said are you pregnant ?
I couldn't lie but I didn't want to tell her so I said probably just the sun.

I am scared a little of what people are going to say in general.

Some background ...
I had my DS1 at 17 his dad was never there, wasn't interested so I did it alone and I mean completely alone no friends cut off all my family, then I met DS2 dad when he was 2. He seemed amazing took on DS1 and promised all sorts. I felll pregnant had DS2 when I was 21 then he became physically abusive. It took a couple of years to finally get away properly and I did it after telling my parents everything. Cut a long story short my DS2 got cancer before he was 2.
It was a crap few years and all a blur. I must have had such bad mental health I can't remember anything about my pregnancies about my children being younger.
They're fantastic now and we're very close and I am 100 years away from where I was then.
My partner is amazing I never thought I would find someone who would love us all properly.

Wow that got deep.
Hopefully going forward it will help you all with the background as although I have two kids this feels like my first time I barely remember any of it.
I'm so happy I'm older too and it's like a whole new chance. I can't wait to bring the baby home to real family.
However I am left with 3 children with 3 men on paper. I'm terrified of being judged about it!
I know people will, it doesn't sound great but it's making me want to keep my pregnancy a secret up until he/she comes which isn't fair on DP as he is so excited and it's his first.

DP and I are planning on getting married next year after the baby now as we want to do it abroad.

Sorry for long post x

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 09:02

Haha @Natt99 thank you I know what you mean. I keep squeezing wondering if they are sore but not really. I got hubby to squeeze them (didn't need much persuasion 😂) he said he doesn't think they feel any bigger but to me they feel fuller and heavier if that makes sense like pre period boobs?

Yeah I want to get some of the 0% alcohol kopparbergs if bbq season gets underway!

I keep trying to convince my hubby to drink because we bought bits in for lockdown and I don't want it wasted but he's not a big drinker anyway so he won't drink alone. At least my bottles of wine will keep til after baby is born!

december2020 · 26/04/2020 09:05

@Natt99 @notalwaysalondoner omg yes! I usually have 2-3 big coffee cups a day so now my one cup is put on a holy grail and I really take my sweet time, savouring every second. And I miss alcohol so much! When my husband has a real gin or a glass of wine, I end up smelling his glass. Wine never smelt so good!! Especially with the heightened sense of smell 😂 so I've officially become a freak.
I've got some alcohol free alternatives in the fridge (ciders, gin) and going to try to nosecco today (husband kindly picked me up some to have during our bbq).

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 09:05

@dixiedo people will judge you no matter what your circumstances you can hold your head up high that you are here for your babies and even though you have been through some incredibly difficult times that you have come out the other side with 2 gorgeous babies and another on the way, a supportive fiance so don't you worry about what anyone thinks.

Doesn't matter if you have 1 baby 1 daddy, 8 babies to 8 daddies... People love to have an opinion. Anyone who cares about you will just be happy for you 😊😊x

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 09:06

Where abouts are you hoping to get married!!?so exciting

Natt99 · 26/04/2020 09:21

@Katbaby The things we do eh 🤣 laughing at you going round squeezing your boobs like stress balls 😂
Aww your hubby sounds sweet too, I honestly wouldn't mind if mine drank as he shouldn't have to miss out as well but up to him
@december2020 haha so funny! You're not alone!I did sniff some wine from the fridge and it smelt amazing 🤣 maybe you should invest in the fanciest most expensive, hipster, coffee out there

@dixiedo you sound like an amazing mum and you've been through so much. Glad things are working out for you this time and you're in a better place. I wouldn't judge you at all and if anyone does they don't deserve your time. My husbands cousin has 7 children by 5 men and she is honestly one of the loveliest and kindest people you could meet xx

dixiedo · 26/04/2020 09:24

Ahh @Katbaby thanks that's really kind. You're right. He doesn't care and sees us all as a family and that's all that matters I suppose. I'm just nervous I suppose of being judged not just by people we know but health professionals as it sounds so Jeremy Kyle and we're really not like that. I am quite embarrassed of the whole situation. I was young and I never expected any of it to end up the way it did.
Oh well, it is what it is I suppose, we are happy and my children are loved.
We are looking to go abroad with just our parents siblings couple of close friends and the kids to get married. I like the idea of a cliff top esque scene in the evening and DP likes the beach idea. We will all go together. Marry at the end of the week then everyone fly home and we stay on for another week. X

On another note. I found this app the pictures are fascinating. This is the App Store link.
Also it sent me a 20% off Phillips products code in my email. X

I use Pregnancy+ to follow my pregnancy. I thought you might like to download it as well. pregnancy.test-app.link/dW6aK5xtUM

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 09:35

@Natt99 yeah he is sweet he is so excited for this baby he says he wakes up every morning thinking about it which I love as I do too!

Yep stress boobs 😂😂😂

@dixiedo have you got an idea of countries that you like? Health care professionals are just that - is professionals. They will have seen people with all sorts of different backgrounds, all they will care about is yours and babies health and that they are coming into a safe loving environment.

Yeah I've downloaded that too! I also use ovia pregnancy it's got a fun baby name generator swipe left or right feature if you like it then it keeps the ones you like, very addictive!

djmbaker · 26/04/2020 09:40

Morning girls, I didn't sleep great last night... anyone getting restless legs at night?? Last night my nausea was so bad plus my legs!! Ugh.. rubbish.
I loved strong black coffee before getting pregnant.. but now I can't drink it, it tastes funny.. it was one the signs that made me wonder if I was pregnant as a week before I found out coffee tasted really weird??
I also can't drink plain water anymore as that tasted weird too?? I'm on summer fruits cordial now.
My nausea was baaaaaad yesterday but I feel a touch better today 🤞🏼
Are we all bloated??? Bloody hell. I can't hide my bloat..
Happy Sunday to everyone 🤍

Rnic1x · 26/04/2020 09:51

Morning everyone, I've felt very nauseous for the past hour or so, it's like a starving sick feeling I never eat first thing in the morning so I'm presuming this maybe morning sickness?

@djmbaker I am very bloated, so much that I look like I have a bump... I've been putting hoodys on for a walk because I don't want people thinking I'm pregnant Grin

I couldn't sleep last night been awake since half 6 and I'm ready for bed again now... Roll on feeling more human! X

PocoyoandEllie · 26/04/2020 10:20

I was up loads in the night with cramps and feeling sick just ended up tossing and turning all night! So tired now but have a 5 year old who wants my undivided attention. He is also a December baby Shock

Tink679 · 26/04/2020 10:24

Morning ladies, I am the same With sleep, I even bought some camomile tea to have before bed but ended up falling asleep on the sofa with OH, woke up at 3 went to bed and then up at 0730! I’ve been looking at workouts to do hoping that they might help with sleep but just don’t feel I have the energy. Anyone else started with weird dreams already?! I’m also either not hungry or eating pretty much anything I can get my hands on! Anyone else the same?

Mood swings - yesterday I was a rollercoaster of emotion from wanting to scream to being on the verge of tears and then being calm and content! What the actual? I know the hormones are raging at the minute but I feel like I have a personality disorder! Someone tell me this is normal and I’m not turning into a pregasaurus!

Twitchett22 · 26/04/2020 10:24

Morning everyone. I still don't feel pregnant! I didn't find out with my first until i was 7 weeks and i think my symptoms started about 9 weeks so I've got a few more weeks to go yet but it does make me worry a bit that nothings happening!
I'm with you all on the alcohol, we did a family quiz on houseparty last night, everyone was drinking and i just wanted a glass of wine 😩 the only non alcoholic drink i found last time that was any good was the alcohol free koppaberg - tastes just like the real thing!
DP told his best friend at work yesterday 🙈 I'm only 5 weeks, this is gonna be the longest pregnancy in history 😂 i envy those mums who don't find out until they're 11 weeks then have a scan and boom they're already in the second trimester 😂

Wearenotyourkind · 26/04/2020 10:48

Morning all. Anyone else have asthma? Have you noticed any difference since being pregnant?

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday. I'm working today (from home), not excited about this given I've not been sleeping well!

Rnic1x · 26/04/2020 10:52

@Wearenotyourkind I do, and normally its not too bad during summer, I haven't noticed a massive difference, the only thing is my hayfever makes it bad and I haven't been taking antihistamines incase I can't I'm not sure if we can or not? X

SettyBuarez · 26/04/2020 11:53

Morning girls, hope everyone is well. I know what people mean about not feeling pregnant sometimes; it's odd. I'm desperate to get an early scan booked but DH isn't keen because of the cost. I feel like I'm in a horrible limbo now as I had my appointment with the midwife on Friday (and on Wednesday over the phone) and I just have to wait to hear about my 12 week scan. Waiting waiting waiting. It's stressful.

Also, my sleep has been terrible for a couple of weeks now (since I found out) and I've got backache and cramps today. I have found that marhsmallows stop me feeling sick. For the pp who was asking about bras, I've ordered a load of non-wired ones from M&S just using my normal size. Most are going back but there are a couple that are so comfy.

YahBasic · 26/04/2020 12:08

I really struggled to sleep but then since getting nausea, I have slept like a log every night. Probably getting 9.5 hours sleep and having a 20 min nap in the day.

The nausea is doing my head in. The irony of feeling constantly hungover for the next few weeks...

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 13:15

@Twitchett22 I feel a little bit that way today, I felt more pregnant last week than I do now. Maybe cos Ive stopped looking for signs that I am pregnant and am just accepting it now?

Just a little tireder, and boobs feel fuller and a bit of backache. Eating pretty normally at the moment

notalwaysalondoner · 26/04/2020 14:22

I’m 4+3 and last night was my first night of bad sleep... but it could be because of my two hour nap in the sun yesterday!

My god the mood swings though...@Tink679 I’m the same. We’re at my parents for lockdown and everyone is tiptoeing around me! I go from calm to a snappy grumpy demon in two seconds! Hopefully they’ll think it’s PMS as we’re trying to keep it quiet for a couple more weeks!

Luckily I don’t have any nausea or food aversions yet - but it’s quite early. Just slightly sore boobs and feeling a bit tired in the early evening.

ceebee21 · 26/04/2020 15:29

Afternoon everyone. Anyone been doing clear blue weeks tests? Interested to know if anyone has got to 3+ yet.. and at what dpo? X

PocoyoandEllie · 26/04/2020 15:33

@ceebee21 the test I did was clear blue at 3+ weeks, I know we conceived on the 29th March. LMP was 05/03/20

PocoyoandEllie · 26/04/2020 15:33

Sorry and did the test yesterday!

Katbaby · 26/04/2020 16:08

Ive got another digi to do I got my 2-3 weeks on Thursday so I'm planning on doing the other next Thursday /Friday and hoping it's moved up to 3+

Don't know what I would do if it didn't tho considering a week would have passed haha

Testing is dangerous. Done so many 🙃

YahBasic · 26/04/2020 16:32

@ceebee21 I did one earlier this week, had one lying around Grin my LMP was 7 March and I reckon we conceived around 25/26th March.
