Christmas babies

Hey all, just got my bfp which puts me on course for a Christmas baby! According to my calendar it will be around 27th Dec but we'll get a better idea once we get the 12 week scan. I've already got a handsome 2 year old boy. ♥️Anyone else due à Christmas baby or fancy some pregnancy chat?

@Katbaby @djmbaker @Rnic1x - thank you! I'm feeling fine actually, no morning sickness, but a bit crampy on and off and really bloody exhausted in the afternoons. Also, restless legs at night - is that normal?

@rennenrennen hmm I haven't had that but I've seen people post about it before. The only real symptom I have is my boobs, my partner said last night have I had a secret boob job and not told him haha! I need to go bra shopping none fit me now I'm living in sports bras x

Yeah same, they have been a bit sore this week on and off and I've been wearing stretchy crop type bras but last night, I got up to bed and there they were! They'd grown a cup size in 30 mins! Couldn't stop looking, DP is pleased

I have the smallest boobs in the world.. I'm like a 12 year old boy so my partner can't wait for them to grow 😂😂 but right now mine just feel bruised... so so sore to touch! 🙈

These last few days I couldn't have felt less pregnant, sometimes I've actually forgotten I am! Anyone else get this? I think I'd rather have the symptoms so I know somethings happening, can't get out of my head the worry of going for my 12 week scan and nothing being there. I thought about an early reassurance scan but DP says no and I'm not sure if it will feed my anxiety. Only 5 weeks and 12 weeks seems so long away!

@Twitchett22 we are going to book an early private scan for around 8 weeks; DP was against it until he realised that he isn't allowed to the 12 weeks scan because of Covid. Not sure if it will reassure me or not, but I think it's important for him to attend a scan.

The only thing I'm feeling to convince me I am is the stretchy feeling in my belly and I'm just tired, trying to read a book in the garden and my eyes keep closing haha.

Hope my boobs grow soon too haha mine are small and not remotely sore

If anyones looking for a pregnancy tracker app I'd recommend sprout I used it with my first & it's the best one I've come across so far

Aaaah my 12 week scan appointment papers just arrived! It's all starting to feel a little real now with 3 appointments already (viability, booking in,12 week).
I don't really know how I feel? All these appointments, yet no body knows about it except me and the husband.
How are you managing to keep it all in?

So my friend has just announced the birth of her baby. 20 week scan she found out it was a little boy. Born yesterday... A little girl she has bought everything blue all tags removed and washed. It's made me want at least 3 confirmations I'm going to have the early gender scan 20 week and 28 week... What a nightmare xx

Oh my god @Rnic1x Ive always been thinking I want to know the gender but as it stands today I actually think I want a surprise. What are the chances of that happening!? What's she gonna do with all the blue stuff

@december2020 ah man I'm failing to keep it in!! My OH dad just turned up and I'm in the garden and he was chatting away and said "Dom are you pregnant" and I just laughed 🤭 so he now knows.. which isn't too bad I guess?? I just know I'm rubbish at keeping secrets. I promised myself I wouldn't tell anyone this time. 🙈

That's great your appointments have come through! How exciting. I've got 3 weeks until my reassurance scan 😩 but at least by then, if all has gone well I'll be almost 9 weeks so it will be closer to my 12 weeks.. that's what I'm telling myself anyway?

Congratulations everyone! Literally just found out I’ll become an auntie in December! SO EXCITED.

@Katbaby don't worry about your symptoms!! Youve has your tests, they all confirm. Everyone is different when pregnant, no woman has the same experience.
My friend found out she was pregnant at 20 weeks!!! She had no idea, she went to the doctor because her periods had been odd (obviously!) and they said she was pregnant. I know that doesn't help you feel any better, because we are told all our lives that being pregnant you fee a certain way.. but that's just not true! It's a unique experience 💕

@Katbaby I honestly have no idea, it's not even like many places are open to get baby clothes now? I want to know but I will be making triple sure x

@djmbaker thank you. Im feeling shattered to be fair and grotty today, my best mate just nipped over to borrow my bike, and she was like what is wrong with you?!? So I told her I was hungover didn't know what else to say and didn't want to tell her yet. I feel bad lying but I'm sure she will forgive me when I do tell her.

@Rnic1x oh god your poor friend. At least they are in lockdown she can just dress her in blue for now or just on days they don't take pictures or something haha.

@Rnic1x 3rd of June - feels forever away at the moment! But the early scan is in just under 2 weeks (a little bit nervous in case there is any bad news). xx oh god on the gender!! But what an extra surprise to have along the way! Girls look awesome in blue so don't let that deter her!

@djmbaker oh god I would end up doing the same thing! Just laughing (or I get this stupid smile on my face that just gives everything away). How did he take it? He must be so happy! I know what you mean for the wait! My early scan is in just under 2 weeks and it feels like forever away to know that everything is as it should be!

I've been a little lazy today apart from a big daily walk 😞 so may have a nice bath and an (alcohol free) gin and then be a little bit productive before the day is over. What have you all been up to?

@december2020 he's a funny guy my father in law.. when my partner and I were buying our house together 4 years ago he said to my partner "are you sure you want to buy a house with someone when you don't know if she can give you children " (I have endometriosis) so me getting pregnant has always felt like a pressure?? So when I got pregnant last year he was ecstatic!! Like over joyed.. then I had my MMC.. and it felt almost expected from the family you know?
So, today he just kind of smiled and said "well make sure you don't tel anyone this time" and that was it??? Weird. I think once he sees a scan pic he will be excited for us. Maybe he's just cautious now? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've also had a super lazy day @december2020 been feeling hungover style feelings all day which isnt fair since I can't have the fun part of drink 🤣
Just been laid in the garden all day under the umbrella. I'm usually a serial tanner so my body will be confused haha.

However did just pull myself together and did a 20 minute prenatal pilates and then a 10 minute prenatal body weight workout from YouTube. Feeling quite good for it though cramping mildly so keeping a watchful eye on that.

How is everyone else feeling today?

@Katbaby just done mine I got the same so definitely due in or around the same week, feel so much better seeing it in writing and knowing my hcg levels are rising

How exciting @GeeHO98 are you going to have an early scan? We will have to update when we get our dates see how close we are

What symptoms are you having

@Katbaby I wasn't planning to but if possible I'd like an early gender scan, I can't wait to see everyone else's who are though & I've had nearly every symptom in the book practically straight away. Mostly headaches, dizzyness, cramps & tmi🙈but being gassy was a big noticeable one for me
