Christmas babies

Hey all, just got my bfp which puts me on course for a Christmas baby! According to my calendar it will be around 27th Dec but we'll get a better idea once we get the 12 week scan. I've already got a handsome 2 year old boy. ♥️Anyone else due à Christmas baby or fancy some pregnancy chat?

They are the ones I’ve been looking at too, love how they are personalised and great prices too! When do you plan to tell everyone? I’m itching to but I just know it’s too early!

I've been debating what to do for my family.
My parents live abroad so I think that may be a phone call (so they're not in the dark if post takes longer but would send them a scan pic afterwards too). Then for in laws parents - no idea! Gah!

Yes still in disbelief I'm pregnant! It doesn't really feel real! Maybe once I see a scan it'll sort of hit me!

@december2020 I think you’re right, the scan pic does make it more real. I think because I’ve had no appointments yet either I’ve not really had to discuss it much (apart from with OH) so it’s not really clicked yet

Evening girls just been reading everyone's updates 😊😊 I love this group too I can't wait for us to follow each other through our pregnancies I feel like I can tell you girls anything! Hubby thinks it's funny I'm spilling my guts to strangers but he's happy I've got people to talk to!

@Tink679 I'm only 5+1 I won't tell anybody until my 12 week scan, it's pretty easy to keep it a secret in lockdown. I'm due Christmas Eve so it feels like a life time away. When are you due? X

@december2020 my friends making me one of these too for announcement, but more Christmas related she hand paints them which I love x

@december2020 I had to tell a white lie to order it and say it was for my partner's cousin with the same name who is pregnant too, she doesn't know her so won't realise the dates don't add up haha x

@Rnic1 I’m due Boxing Day! So not far behind you! I’m a nurse and there are certain medications I can’t handle which have a big pregnancy warning symbol on them so trying to be discreet as possible! I’ve had to tell manager as ICU is not an ideal environment anytime let alone when pregnant. It’s difficult when family call to check in, I just want to blurt it out! X

@tink679 oh how scary, I hope your doing ok in work, keep yourself and little baba safe. I'm working from home so I don't need to let me manager know yet thankfully x

@Katbaby my partner is the same!! He keeps saying "who are you texting" but at the same time he's glad I have someone to talk to as he doesn't want to talk about it right now so your all taking the pressure off him!
How's your back?? And trapped wind doing? Have you tried peppermint tea?? I think that's amazing for tummy issues.

Hi everyone. I've just got my BFP!
I have two boys 8 and 5 and this is my DP first.
Feel crazy, anxious, happy and scared.
Congratulations to you all.
I can't remember ever being pregnant or the baby years to be honest so it's all feeling brand new to me.

@djmbaker yeah thats how my DH feels about it he says who you texting so much and I say oh just my mother's group 😁. He's like fair enough crack on haha.

Trapped wind feeling is gone but my back is really getting me especially around the evening time I'm getting really uncomfy. A little concerned that it's mainly on the right side as well but Dr Google reckons that's common. How are you feeling?

@djmbaker isn't it lovely. I just think with my first I want to make a big thing about it for people my dad's really poorly atm to so I know he will be over the moon and the news will pick him up, when are you telling people? X

Ladies..... Tmi just had my first poo since yesterday not going to lie... I was scared!! Feel so silly now.

@Katbaby I have been tracking my cycles so around 4 weeks.
I'm probably more of an early jan than a Christmas baby.
I'm hoping late December though as my birthday is 5th Jan and it is rubbish.

I am not sure when I'll tell people. It will probably be after the 12 week mark. And I love the idea of a fun way of announcing it.

I am taken aback as I stopped the pill end of jan. I thought it would be months and I had a terrible UTI around ovulation and needed antibiotics so I can't believe I'm actually pregnant.

@Katbaby I had dreadful lower backache last night. But assumed I had tweaked something, what sort of pain was yours?
