Hi all, I'm 5+3. Having one of those days where I feel like all my symptoms are slowing! Anyone else had this?

littletandme · 13/04/2020 07:35

We found out with a private gender scan with DD so will do the same this time at 16 weeks, I could never wait as I'm so impatient 😂

LuLaLaLa · 13/04/2020 07:38

We will have another surprise . It was lovely not knowing and also I think it will help me stop buying too much haha

Emerald89 · 13/04/2020 07:42

Freaking out this morning. Woke up and went to bathroom and there was blood. Mix of brown/pink/red, only when I wiped. No pain or cramps but I’ve managed to convince myself my boobs don’t hurt anymore. I’m 6+3.

Not sure what to do? I don’t expect my local EPAU will be interested in seeing me right now given Coronavirus etc?? Feel sick with worry even though I know it might all still be ok 🙁

Mrsallen17 · 13/04/2020 07:53

Hi 👋

New to this but found out yesterday after 2.5 years of trying and lots of help that I’m 5 +3!

Quite tired in the evenings, very sore boobs, stomach cramps and bloating but awaiting the sickness to confirm things are progressing. I was so shocked to find out I’m almost expecting to be bleeding every time I visit the bathroom.

I’m sorry @emerald about your panic this morning. Try to keep calm and positive.

RyanStartedTheFire · 13/04/2020 08:17

emerald I'm pretty sure quite a few on here have had spotting. I would try and call the EPU.

Welcome mrsallen

Re finding out the gender, most of the private scan places in our city have closed from COVID and they don't tell us at our 20 week scan. Saying that, I usually find out privately at 16 weeks but have my 20 week scan at Birmingham Fetal Medicine centre where they do tell you, so if I am still sent up to there I'll be able to find out.

Hatepickinganame · 13/04/2020 08:30

@Emerald89 id try calling your epu at least they might be able to put your mind at rest. Even with everything going on, if they are concerned they should see you. Fingers crossed all is ok!

Having said i dont want to know, i found out with all three of mine. I have no willpower 🤣 will see what he wants to do when we get to that point.

ChampooPapi · 13/04/2020 08:30

@Emerald89 spotting or brown discharge between 6 and seven weeks is really normal and actually a good sign the pregnancy is progressing as it's probably everything expanding and old blood being pushed out.

I wouldn't go anywhere near a hospital right now unless you have clots of a fair bit of new bright red blood.

It's so worrying, I know, but your dates are perfect for this kind of situation so I hope this reassures you 🤗

MrsC2018 · 13/04/2020 09:11

@Emerald89 see what your EPU say, but mine wouldn't see me last week and I had bright red blood and lots of cramps. I did however book a private scan. Hope you feel ok soon x

MrsC2018 · 13/04/2020 09:13

@Emerald89 just to say, I'm also still getting lots of cramps and pain and brown blood when I wipe 😔 it's stressful and I've been lucky enough to see the heartbeat

Positevibes · 13/04/2020 09:14

13 DPO had 3 faint positive tests but AF is due tomorrow and I have everything crossed that it doesn't show up guess this is the downside of testing early. I do have sore boobs some cramps but they aren't to painful and strangely today one of my arms aches but maybe I slept funny. 🤞

I should have learnt my lesson last time about testing early after my chemical in February I'm just so impatient 🙄

Congratulations to all you ladies 😁

Emerald89 · 13/04/2020 09:25

I’ve calmed myself down now. Ended up sat on my bed in floods of tears as my husband had literally just left for work and I just panicked. Have checked a few times and the bleeding appears to have stopped or be stopping, I think it happened overnight as once I’d been to the toilet etc there hasn’t been any more. Going to see how it goes and might book a private scan but will try wait till 7+ weeks before considering it as don’t want there to be doubt about heartbeat etc.

AnnieCa34 · 13/04/2020 09:57

@emerald89 I am the same when I went toilet this morning wiped and had Pink and then brown discharge freaked out, and still freaking out even thought haven’t had anymore. I’m 6+6 from what’s said above seems like this is normal, still scared though. I’m feeling super sick this morning so for now just laying on sofa feeling sorry for myself and trying not to panic.

misslb93 · 13/04/2020 09:57

Hi ladies

Please may I join? We got our BFP 2 weeks ago now so have been silently following this thread day in day out! I've been so nervous, testing almost every day just to check it's actually real.

We suffered a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks but baby had stopped at 5 in September last year which was our first ever pregnancy so this time I'm constantly checking everything and so scared incase my body just doesnt tell me again like last time.

We have a private scan booked 26th April at one of the Window to the Wombs close to us, so I have everything crossed to see that little bean and hear a heartbeat.

Nobody warns you how worrying this can be do they!?

aitch07 · 13/04/2020 10:30

Glad I found the new thread! Hope you all had a good Easter. I'm 6+1 today and have an early scan tomorrow. I'm so nervous!!

ChampooPapi · 13/04/2020 10:58

@AnnieCa34 yes I've had small amount of spotting/brown discharge between six and seven weeks with 3 of my 4 pregnancies. The one I didn't have it with actually ended up as a missed miscarriage at my 12 week scan so I see it as a good sign 🤞

bee222 · 13/04/2020 11:24

Can I join? Pregnant with first child after 3 mc (2 of which were last year)
Terrified :(
I’m under the care of the recurring miscarriage clinic so Im being scanned every 2 weeks from 6 weeks. Fingers crossed things work out for me this time. Due 18th December.

MrsB2019x · 13/04/2020 11:39

@Emerald89 Sorry to hear 💐 It sounds like you’ll be okay as it’s not floods of red and your cramps are minimal but it wouldn’t hurt to call your EPU for reassurance if nothing else x

Silverski5 · 13/04/2020 11:45

@bee222
Hi im due 18th December after mc too. im terrified of it happening again. One minute im feeling so so happy then i have little panic attacks.
Just desperate to get through these weeks

MrsB2019x · 13/04/2020 11:57

Had an update from the hospital - my HCG has more than doubled as expected which is promising. They have given me the number for EPU so I can call them tomorrow and plan next steps 🤞 they said they probably won’t scan me still though as my HCG indicates they still won’t see anything on a scan. She said that my HCG levels indicate “clearly a very early pregnancy” but I should be 5+3 today so I’m not sure how I feel about that! 😕

AnnieCa34 · 13/04/2020 11:58

@ChampooPapi that’s really good to hear, thank you for the reassurance.

AnnieCa34 · 13/04/2020 11:59

@MrsB2019x maybe they count that as a very early pregnancy as I think they can’t get a heartbeat until 6 weeks? Maybe they will scan you then. I hope everything is ok for you

ChampooPapi · 13/04/2020 12:05

Yes 5 weeks is a very early pregnancy, and if your dates are a few days off you may not even be a full week late yet from your period. Definitely best not to have a scan now @MrsB2019x

ChampooPapi · 13/04/2020 12:06

@MrsB2019x all sounds like really good news though 😊

MrsB2019x · 13/04/2020 12:17

Thanks for the reassurance ladies 😘 my period was due on 3rd April roughly, unless I ovulated much later than I thought 🤷🏻‍♀️
