Also ladies, can I ask your advice on something...?? Had a slightly stressful morning!
In Italy I need to get a little pregnancy book from the hospital in order to book in all my appointments, including the initial bloodwork to test for everything which can be anytime from 7 weeks (a week today). To get this little book I need to have an official certificate confirming my pregnancy with a urine test.
So, the problem is, 'private' (more like pay-as-you-go) doctors are all cancelled, and we're not able to travel between 'boroughs' which means I can't go to my family doctor, which means I have to go to a kind of A&E type surgery to do this urine test, to get the little pregnancy book, to book in my first scan! Quarantine is being slowly lifted here from about 4th May, so after this date it should all be much easier. The waiting around in A&E with lots of ill people worries me a little bit, given the circumstances, so would rather wait until I can go to my own doctor if I had a choice.
Basically my question is how important is it to have these early appointments as early as possible? Would waiting for my very first blood test and scan until week 10 or 11 be too dangerous? If something came up at these bloods, would I have left it too late?
