Starting a new thread as the other one was full! Hope everyone has had a good Easter! :)

@Bassbeh17 Ahaha, lockdown has been rather forgiving so far hasn't it...taken the pressure off carrying on our busy day-to-day lives as normal for some of us! I don't know how I'd have managed at work being this tired all the time, and only week 5/6

@annalouise1997 Oh me too...I'm quite chilled about stuff most of the time but with being pregnant for the first time and it being so early on, I'm noticing (and therefore worrying about/googling/rambling to OH) everything...I feel like I at least will feel much calmer a few weeks down the line, even if worsening symptoms have other ideas! And I know what you mean - I'm kind of looking forward to the 'confirmation' of morning sickness. I'm currently 5+5 weeks I think...what about you?

Have no gut instincts about boy or girl whatsoever...I'd love a boy first, OH would love a girl but either way is perfect. Do you think you're all going to find out when you can, or keep it a surprise?

I'm just over 7 weeks so due late November early December

Tentatively joining! 6 weeks today and ultrasound confirmed a heartbeat this afternoon 😌
Due date 6/12, I don’t think I’ll feel safe until closer to 12 weeks though!

@everpessimistic I am so jealous of your early ultrasound I bet that was amazing to know it’s all ok in there!

@Lily501 I wish I was resting but I’m still working, only resting now as it’s Easter weekend but we would normally have a huge family BBQ so at least I haven’t had to explain why I’m not drinking gin!!!

@lionsmum Thank you! No, they said they were going to scan me but because I was 5 weeks exactly on Friday they reassessed and said there would be no point as they probably wouldn’t see anything yet. I was examined with a speculum (which was super pleasant 🤢) and my cervix is closed which is good. Basically if my HCG doubles they will keep monitoring it and when I am far enough along for a scan, they will do that to find out where bubs is sitting and hopefully rule out ectopic 🤞

If this pregnancy is viable I have a feeling it’s a girl as it’s been nothing but trouble already 😂

@MrsB2019x will keep everything crossed for you! I keep referring to the baby as he, mostly cause i dreamt about a boy so that's stuck. We havent decided if we'll find out when we can, its def going to be my last baby so might keep it a surprise this time.

You’d have much more stamina than me, I’d have to find out!

I'm finding out with this one as I didn't with DD but want to know what I need to buy

I will definitely have to find out I’m awful at waiting 😂 I’ve only known for a week and am already struggling with waiting for the first scan! Could be a real test of patience for me 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

@Lily501 yes that's what I'm so bad for especially with the cramping my anxiety is going through the roof! My first time being pregnant too... yes once the midwife appointments out the way and first scan! I'm a day behind you 5+ 4 weeks!

Girl/Boy wise, I think my partner would love a boy! I would be happy with either as long as the baby is healthy, I would like two (this is my first) ideally one of each like everyone but if I was just to have one baby I'd want a girl being such a girly girl myself

These are going to be my famous last words I'm sure but...
I've always said I need at least 1 of each, so if i had say 2 boys I'd keep going until I got a girl, and vice versa. No matter how many babies I end up having haha
Yes this will be my first child

We'll find out at the 20 week scan as we did with #1. I love having DS so another boy would be great but not sure I've got another boy name! A girl would be lovely too though.

I’m gonna keep it a surprise, I will be impatient but have always wanted a surprise as does fiancé so it will be a long wait!

@ChampooPapi yes I recognised your name!! I caught really quickly in September but lost at 5 weeks in October so it's taken us a few months to catch again, I'm really pleased for us both xxxx

I've had the surprise and it was lovely when DP said we had a girl but want to know for practical reasons this time

Walrus that’s my reason too, I’d love to go out and buy clothes. Neutral baby clothes are (mostly) so bland 😩

Yeah they are. Also I've still got loads of DD baby clothes so if its another girl that halves my spending.

Only big things I need to buy are a cot and a pram. I still have my prep machine etc from last time. Still have my moses basket but that'll need a new mattress.

4+5 today.

I’m feeling a girl, I know my fiancé would love a girl also but I’d be happy with either :)
