How are you feeling if so? How far along are you?

I’m due 12th August, 21 weeks 1 day today, first baby and I’m having a boy!

I’ve felt a bit overwhelmed with this whole pandemic and the unknown of whether it’s going to be better by then! Fingers crossed for the best.

I also really want to start buying things but feel bad for shopping online given the current scenario, I just don’t want to leave it all til last minute and be really unprepared.

Would love to hear from you all Flowers

Oh @worriedbutterfly also the baby show are doing online weekends now on Facebook - I went to the physical show in the London Excel centre and also attended the live baby show event on Facebook a couple of weekends back which was just as good so if you're not signed up I would say defo sign up as it's free and you will definitely get some discount codes for things that you are after! X

Beau2020 · 02/05/2020 16:04

@stephd2020 yes! The exact same, I'm religiously using the bio oil which is so fab! Sore tummy but no stretch marks (YET). Got some underneath my boobs but not very noticeable xx

JMill13 · 02/05/2020 16:52

@stephd2020 sorry to just butt in, hope you don't mind? But anyway this sounds like a good idea, how do you get to the baby show on Facebook?

2020Aug · 02/05/2020 17:15

I went to the one in Feb too and also the last virtual one. Probably shouldn't be buying even more things at the next virtual one 😂, but they did have good offers and the talks were useful.

Here is a link.

Thank you 🙂

Beau2020 · 03/05/2020 01:21

Feeling a bit down, currently on the labour ward! Just as I was about to have my last wee before bed there was a load of blood in toilet. Partner rushed me straight to the labour ward and they're checking me over now. Hopefully everything is ok but I'm so worried. Partner can't even be with me they've made him go back to the car. Just feel so helpless

squashie34 · 03/05/2020 06:39

Oh @Beau2020 so sorry to hear this! How are you doing? Sending a big hug xx 💗

StephD2020 · 03/05/2020 07:50

@Beau2020 so sorry to see this message this morning, how are you? Is everything ok? Keeping everything crossed for you xx

sel2223 · 03/05/2020 07:53

Just catching up on this thread and saw this @Beau2020

JMill13 · 03/05/2020 09:27

@beau2020 I am so sorry to read this. How are you feeling this morning? Thinking of you all. Sending hugs and positive vibes 💛

2020Aug · 03/05/2020 09:28

@Beau2020 so sorry to hear, keeping everything crossed for you. X

Beau2020 · 03/05/2020 11:22

Thank you all! Still here they think the bleeding is internal so they're monitoring me but baby seems absolutely fine on Doppler and can feel her moving around lots which is reassuring. Hopefully it's nothing too serious 💕💕

sel2223 · 03/05/2020 11:26

@Beau2020 great news that you and baby are both doing fine. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it very soon.
Sending hugs x

Beau2020 · 03/05/2020 11:28

@sel2223 thank you so much!! Reality kicked in a bit that it's going to be super hard if we're not allowed our birthing partners with us when the time comes ☹️💕

sel2223 · 03/05/2020 11:30

@Beau2020 it really is. I've been thinking of you alone on the ward all morning! Stay strong Flowers
I'm still keeping everything crossed that things will have relaxed a bit by August.

2020Aug · 03/05/2020 11:53

Great news @Beau2020, I hope everything continues well.
I'm also really hoping things relax slightly come August.

squashie34 · 03/05/2020 12:15

@Beau2020 that's fabulous news! Are they going to give you a scan to see if they can see where it's coming from?

StephD2020 · 03/05/2020 12:43

Amazing news hun, have just been talking about you on my morning walk with hubby! Fingers crossed it's just a bit of random bleeding and you'll be home by this afternoon.

I am 100% sure that the restrictions will be so so different come August and we'll all be on here in September sharing pics of our little ones and chatting about how much things have changed for the better. All the PMA this morning 🥰

JMill13 · 03/05/2020 16:57

@beau2020 ah so glad to hear. Hope you're doing okay now and they've gotten to the bottom of everything! 🤞

Beau2020 · 03/05/2020 20:46

Thanks all for the lovely messages, finally back home now after a long 24 hours but the bleeding has stopped! Just praying it doesn't return and baby holds in until August 🤞💕

cannotmakemymindup · 03/05/2020 21:03

@Beau2020 Really hope you don't have any more scares during your pregnancy. Glad you are home again.

(Sorry only just catching up on messages.)

mable88 · 03/05/2020 21:44

So glad to hear that @Beau2020, just caught up on this thread. Fingers crossed everything going forward is more straight forward! Flowers

I’ve had a massive down day today Sad nothing specific, just felt really gloomy about everything. Probably hasn’t helped that hubby has been (and still is!) at work today so I’ve been on my own since mid morning. Watching telly now and feeling lots of lovely kicks from little lady now which is improving my mood no end! Smile

squashie34 · 03/05/2020 22:36

Do you ladies count the 'movement' to even be if you can feel baby move (like rolling etc)? I do have kicks but not all the time, but more frequently I'll have what feels like baby moving position etc. I don't know if this counts as the movement we need to be monitoring of, because of not she really doesn't kick kick me much! Had a really anxious hour or so earlier when I realised i hadn't felt her move all day (although I had been non stop cleaning the house and cooking) so I sat down with an orange juice and it took a good 45 minutes until she had her usual wriggles and has now been rolling on and off all evening. These movement watches are going to send me neurotic 😅 especially now the hospital have told me to pay even closer attention due to the cholestatis.

@squashie34 hope this helps. Basically I think rolls, kicks, swish and flutter!

squashie34 · 04/05/2020 07:58

@cannotmakemymindup thank you for this it's really helpful. Reading that I'm going to phone the labour triage as her movements have definitely been different over the last 24 hours. Last night she didn't move until I'd had some juice and then wasn't her usual crazy self when I was in bed, then she normally always wakes me up about 6 but I haven't felt her this morning.
