@HerondaleDucks its actually been okay, I just find it uncomfortable when clothes are on it sometimes.
It's been there since I was 13 so coming up to 17 years!

I had keyhole for my gall bladder and the scars are much better. Though the one in my tummy button is a bit ick.

BntTowers · 24/04/2020 11:52

@Treaclepie19 @HerondaleDucks they are so annoying! Mine has gone really itchy. I think loose dresses will be essential for summer.

roarfeckingroar · 24/04/2020 12:14

@BntTowers I'm also 35 days from my 20 week scan - 29 May right? It feels like an age!

roarfeckingroar · 24/04/2020 12:18

Is anyone else struggling with putting on weight? I know realistically I haven't put on more than a couple of kilos but I was a size 6-8 with a history of EDs so I'm struggling with feeling a bit of fat on my hips and yoga/walking isn't stripping it off like body pump did.

Zaalfruit · 24/04/2020 12:42

@BntTowers my nipples have been so sore and dry sorry for tmi I find that wearing cream or oil just helps a tiny bit - my boobs look so swollen. No tummy bump yet which concerns me a lot as everyone is getting there bumps I just feel flabby

BntTowers · 24/04/2020 12:54

@roarfeckingroar yes the 29th for me too! We'll be scan buddies.
@Zaalfruit I'm glad I'm not the only one with dry nipples. Nothing seems to help.

One of our cats is determined to sit on my lap at the moment, nothing will get in his way. I feel like I'm just a giant cat bed for both of them at the moment. If I sit there is a cat there within seconds. I think they must know something is happening and are trying to get all the cuddles in now.

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2020 13:21

10 days until my scan!!! 4th May. I'll only be 17+5 so will likely have another but they want to double check everything I think.

Anyone else suffering with hayfever? Its been making me wonder if it was the virus but with the sneezing and itchy eyes its definitely hayfever. I always get a sore chest with it because I've got allergic asthma.

Aquablue1123 · 24/04/2020 14:35

Hey girls,

Happy Friday!

I also had a bad sleep last night, I was awake from 1.30am to 4.30am, due to muscle ache from exercising 🤣 thought it might help the sleep sitch but I've been out of the game for 4 months now so my body will take some time to get used to the strain again.

Yep my nipples are dry too, I'm worried as they've stopped feeling sore and heavy which is strange, they haven't grown for a month, not sure if this is normal.

Glitterbug86 · 24/04/2020 14:38

28 days to my scan, can't come fast enough! I've just started to get a little bump the past week to 2 which is kinda nice ☺️

Quiffy · 24/04/2020 15:51

@BntTowers One of mine did at the start, now they're back to DH being the centre of the world. Although not sure I'd want a big fluffy cat on me in this heat.

@roarfeckingroar Hope you're okay - is there anyone who you can talk to help with past ED and putting on weight?

Another one for the dry nipple crew! I have a little scabby section on each. Really goes with the spots and hairy belly #attractive

How's everyone's Friday going? I've spent the afternoon doing my SE task return so feeling proud of myself haha.

LexiM · 24/04/2020 15:58

I had another bad nights sleep too last night and was up early today. I don’t even really know why, I’m just uncomfortable. Sometimes during the day I’ve had a bad back and did some gentle yoga today which I think has helped a bit.

My husband surprised me and 2 maternity tops came today, they are lovely! He said I also have two vest tops coming... I had spent ages looking at maternity clothes and found nothing I wanted 😂

My scan isn’t until 1st June, feels like ages compared to some people here, but I’m mid-October due date and sonographer said the image is clearer after 20 weeks. I’m seeing the midwife next Wednesday so at least that breaks things up. It’s so sad when an appointment is an exciting trip out for the day 🤣

BntTowers · 24/04/2020 16:07

@Quiffy it's a battle as to which one gets there first, no matter how many times I move them off. They aren't really fussed about DH unfortunately.

I have had my letter with my scan results from a few weeks ago. 1/15000 chance of downes and 1/50000 for the Edwards one so happy with that as it means less risk. I've not heard anything about a 16 week appointment yet. Might give them a call next week...

@Treaclepie19 I get hayfever too, itchy eyes and blocked nose. When it gets bad I get ulcers on the back of my tongue as well (nice). At the moment I'm not too bad, I've noticed it getting worse I we the last few days. I think this year it's going to be more prevention than treatment. Big sunnies when out and vaseline under the nose. Not that they help too much.

blankiesandunicorns · 24/04/2020 20:10

@roarfeckingroar I have struggled with putting on weight, more so in the first trimester as usually I eat quite little during the day and exercise a lot but sickness started and my food intake had to increase and with lock down I haven't been able to go to the gym. I can imagine with a history of ED this must be tough, do you have people you can talk to about this if you need to? Just keep check on how you feel as this might understandably be difficult for you.

Indigogirl88 · 24/04/2020 21:32

@roarfeckingroar I havent had history of Ed's but I did loose a lot of weight last year through diet and exercise and so the 10lbs I've put on has been getting me down a bit, that and the acne I feel pretty ugly tbh. I had to ask dp if he still fancies me the other day. I don't know what else to suggest but just know you're not alone Flowers

Had a productive day with work so just chilling tonight, not fancied much food today but just treated myself to some ice cream.

ChickenDipper28 · 24/04/2020 21:36

@BntTowers @Treaclepie19 I also get bad hayfever! I've been really struggling the last few days with itchy eyes and itchy nose. 😢 Living in the country doesn't help, but I did find the Vaseline up the nose helps, although kind of sticky 🤣

@Quiffy Me too for the dry nipple crew! I've found Lansinoh has helped quite a lot although the shiny nips aren't too attractive (maybe for some!) 🤣 Thought it was just me with the hairy belly. I keep calling myself Hagrid.

When did you all get your 20 week scan appointment letter? Still haven't had mine ☹️

Zaalfruit · 24/04/2020 21:53

Hey everyone with hay fever issues I have been trying hay fever max balm . Feel like it has helped a little. I also got a saline nose spray - feels nasty but stops the snotty feeling for a bit . Eyes are just blood shot I guess I have to deal with the itchy eyes.

Just hoping I don’t get a hay fever cough - then I won’t be able to attend my 20 week scan .

ChickenDipper28 · 24/04/2020 21:57

@Zaalfruit Thank you, I'll give the nose spray a go!

Omg I nearly had that experience yesterday! I had to go pick up a prescription for my mum. I was waiting outside the doctors next to the most pollen smelling tree ever and really badly wanted to keep coughing from the pollen, but knew I'd probably get kicked out 😳 Held it in and ran off quickly after!

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2020 22:10

A hayfever cough isn't usually the same level of persistant as coronavirus though is it? Mine is tickling today and I've coughed a few times. It's such a distinctive feeling.
Plus alongside the sneezing I'm doing and itchy eyes.

ChickenDipper28 · 24/04/2020 22:19

It's not as persistent, thank goodness! It's just sometimes when the tickling feeling gets out of control and nothing seems to stop it.

I haven't sneezed much today, but I think that's down to the amount of Vaseline I used to barrier my nose this morning! Worked a treat.

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2020 22:25

Oh same @ChickenDipper28. Once it starts tickling you have to cough.
I've just put some valentine on my nose too!
Its definitely setting my asthma off though 😩

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2020 22:25

haha vaseline!! Not valentine.

ChickenDipper28 · 24/04/2020 22:33

@Treaclepie19
Haha, valentine, I was going to say!
Oh I hate the hayfever asthma trigger! It always makes mine so bad too during the summer. While hayfever season is around, I actually get reactions to eating uncooked fruit/veg too ☹️ even when I wash well, I guess it's hard to get all of the pollen off.

Treaclepie19 · 24/04/2020 22:42

Oh gosh that sounds awful 😔
I've just had to have my inhaler because lying in bed was making me wheeze and cough. Stupid hayfever!

ChickenDipper28 · 24/04/2020 23:04

@Treaclepie19 Oh no ☹️ I hope you manage to have a decent sleep tonight without hayfever getting in the way too much. Fingers crossed it's not a high pollen count tomorrow 😩🤞🏼

Indigogirl88 · 25/04/2020 00:11

@ChickenDipper28 @Treaclepie19 snap with the hayfever, think I might try the nose spray!

I got my 20 week letter when I went for my 12w scan, I'd deffo chase it up

I'm glad I'm not the only one with dry nipples lol

Whilst on the bare all subjects. Is anyone having bladder leakage issues (we know each other well enough now right!?) Everytime I sneeze I get it and it's totally getting me down. I promise I've been doing pelvic floors as well!
