Yay, thanks for setting this up @treacle81

Lovely scans @booroo @HungryPanda92 🥰

blankiesandunicorns · 30/03/2020 22:52

Thanks for tagging! There's some lovely pics on here, my scan went well and a few days ahead of dates and 13+4 so due 1st October.

Good luck to everyone having scans tomorrow

LexiM · 30/03/2020 22:53

@booroo and @HungryPanda92 great scan photos!

9am tomorrow for me... I’m nervous and excited. Sad my husband cannot come in but glad we’ve known for a couple of days as he’s come to terms with it more now. The midwife called to confirm that was the case today... DH says I should let him name the baby alone as he isn’t allowed to the scan. 🤣🤣 I’m not that stupid!

Glitterbug86 · 30/03/2020 23:03

Congrats @blankiesandunicorns

@LexiM good luck and enjoy tomorrow ☺️ Maybe you could FaceTime your husband toward the end of the scan if they will allow it, given the circumstances?

HungryPanda92 · 30/03/2020 23:03

@lexiM I made my OH come with me even though he couldn't come in just in case anything went wrong as I didn't want to have to drive home alone. All was well and poor OH was sat in the car waiting for about 2 hours! He wasn't overly impressed Grin

Quiffy · 31/03/2020 07:03

@LexiM good luck today ❤️ Mine is also at 9am. Don’t know about you but I’ve been up half the night with nightmares and now an upset stomach this morning 😩 I’m sure everything will be fine but can’t get that voice out my head.

Got my DH coming with me in the car, he’s bringing his work with him for a more exotic wfh environment this morning.

booroo · 31/03/2020 07:31

@blankiesandunicorns we are due date twins :)
Good luck with scans today everyone Grin

LexiM · 31/03/2020 07:52

@Quiffy good luck to you too. I’m exactly the same, fell asleep about 1.30am, was then awake properly since 5am. Also worried I wouldn’t wake up to go to the scan 🤣 I’m trying to have some breakfast as I’ve been feeling so awful the last few days (and drinking the water for the nearly full bladder!)

@HungryPanda92 my husband is also coming and sitting in the car! They said 1-2 hours on the letter, I must admit I had no idea it would all take that long!

Treaclepie19 · 31/03/2020 07:58

Thanks for the new thread :)

Getting nervous about my scan tomorrow now. I'll be glad when it's here. This waiting is driving me nuts.

Glitterbug86 · 31/03/2020 08:36

@Quiffy good luck this morning, I'm sure it will all be fine ❤️

Ye are all dead right bringing your husbands, even if they can only sit outside. Weird times!!

BntTowers · 31/03/2020 08:41

Nice to have a new thread! Thanks for the add. I think I'm just going to stay on here rather than Facebook, this is a lot to keep up with as it is!

Good luck to all those with scans today, let us know how it goes. I finally have blood tests later on this morning. I am really hoping my 12 week scan isn't delayed because it's taken so long. 12 weeks on Saturday...

@Quiffy I'm sure you'll be ok once you are in there. I think for the DHs there's going to be a fair bit of waiting around in the car during these pregnancies.

Spark27 · 31/03/2020 08:57

Excited about the scans coming up today. Good luck girls Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 31/03/2020 09:06

Good luck today @Quiffy and @LexiM.
Hope all goes well :)

Good luck to those with scans today!Daffodil

Indigogirl88 · 31/03/2020 09:45

Sorry for being out the loop, I've had a few busy days at work from home. Thank you for setting up the 3rd thread!! @Treacle81

Cannot believe we are on the 3rd thread already

Lovely scan photos ladies 💐

HungryPanda92 · 31/03/2020 10:26

Good luck for your scans today guys x

EllieGolightly · 31/03/2020 10:27

Loving the scan pics, so exciting!

Our appointment isn't at the hospital, I don't know if that's a Northern Irish thing, we have HSC (health and social care) not NHS, same thing essentially. We have community midwife teams that work in health centres (like a GP surgery but with lots of extra bits), that's who I have to go to for booking appointment, and I'll get my first scan at the same time.

I rang as I hadn't had my appointment letter through, and they've said my husband can come for the first scan but then he'll have to leave. We've both been working from home and almost completely isolated for 3 weeks now, so it's an extra special treat for us to get out of the house!

Buzz22 · 31/03/2020 10:55

Ah I found you guys!
Had scan this morning. Everything looked well but she struggled to scan me as I have a retroverted uterus.
No partners allowed in. Well spaced out seats in waiting room and they took temperature on arrival. Wasnt as scary as I thought. DP waited in the car outside. Good luck everyone else with scans today!

Early Oct babies part 3!
Glitterbug86 · 31/03/2020 11:02

Congrats @Buzz22, and lovely scan photo 🥰 Glad it wasn't as scary as you imagined

Treaclepie19 · 31/03/2020 11:20

Brilliant news @Buzz22! 😊

Those of you going to the hospital at the moment, are you just using the hand gel provided and then when you get home washing your hands and carrying on as normal?

I can't believe this time tomorrow I should have had my scan 🤞🤞🤞

HungryPanda92 · 31/03/2020 11:41

@Buzz22 so sweet! I just love looking at the little noses Grin

@treaclepie19 that's what I did. Used the hand gel pretty much every time I moved and on my way out the main doors then good hand wash at home.

Treaclepie19 · 31/03/2020 11:43

@HungryPanda92 that's reassuring thanks. I have OCD and I'm trying to keep it under control which means not overly washing or giving into worries.
I know lots of people are showering and things after and I'm trying to reassure myself that I don't need to do it.

HungryPanda92 · 31/03/2020 11:48

@treaclepie19 I would say not necessary to shower or worry too much. I know it's hard when you have other issues. My anxiety is through the roof atm! But the hospitals are being very careful. Like others have said even the waiting rooms have been moved about to make sure people are at appropriate distances. Best of luck for tomorrow. Will be thinking about you Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 31/03/2020 11:53

Thank you :) Yeah I know they're doing a lot to keep people safe. Its vital that I do as little as possible otherwise I'll end up spiralling.
I really hope all will be okay, 🤞

Treacle81 · 31/03/2020 13:09

Hi guys, yea no partner, spaced out seating and had to wash hands and use sanitizer. Very well ran. Love seeing all our beautiful babies!! Here’s mine ❤️. Due date still 5th Oct. 13+1 xx
