Just marking my place 😁
8 weeks today 😃

ParisInTheSpringtime · 30/03/2020 17:44

@Charlottethevet I love rusks!!! I haven’t had them for a few years. Now have a craving 😂

burntpinky · 30/03/2020 17:56

Place marking thanks @Sakura54

Pink15 · 30/03/2020 18:13

@Hancock2020 no definitely not mardy!! I have absolutely zero energy and preparing food is really making my nausea worse so I think it's quite right we don't do all the cooking!! It would be nice if your other half or mum offered :(

Addler · 30/03/2020 18:17

Just had my early scan, it's not ectopic which is a relief but they said it's too early to see anything except a yolk sac, and to come back in 10-14 days to see if it's viable. With the FRER test I took yesterday that isn't as dark as I thought it would be by now I'm still worried, but I guess not much that I can do apart from sit and wait

Pumpkin108 · 30/03/2020 18:22

Does anyone else feel ok sick wise but then as soon as they eat want to throw up :( I’m struggling to get through a meal. I think I’m between 7 and 7+5

wafflewafflewaffle · 30/03/2020 18:27

@somegoodnewsforonce I’m in Scotland and went in last week to get my bloods done etc, but I’ve got my main booking appointment by phone tomorrow. My midwife said they’re trying to limit face to face time, hence not doing it all when I went in.

Feeling a bit anxious today as I’ve had some light bleeding since Thursday. We are currently self isolating as my toddler has a cough, so can’t be scanned until Friday - it’s going to be a long week! I’m trying not to worry too much as I remember I had some bleeding around this time in my last pregnancy too, but I’m pretty sure it only lasted a day or two then. I’ve still got really bad nausea though, which I’m taking as a good sign!

EleanorSaysFork · 30/03/2020 18:28

Hello all. 8+4 and theoretically have to attend my booking appointment in person (England) but I am in the vulnerable shielded group due to taking immunosuppressants so this seems crazy! I have left a message with the midwife to discuss it.

AnxiousLady1 · 30/03/2020 18:42

The effort of cooking meals is the worst. I keep resorting to pasta and frozen foods. Far from ideal, but even when cooking earlier, the smell of the pasta cooking made me nauseous.

cmosh · 30/03/2020 18:50

Just marking my place, love seeing everyone's postsSmile

burntpinky · 30/03/2020 18:57

I literally can’t do anything. Started unloading dishwasher earlier and started retching. Just been trying to play with toddler and feel v v sick. It’s an absolute nightmare.

And DH’s family being a bloody nightmare too (long story) so been in tears most of day.

The joys of pregnancy!!!

Mctm123 · 30/03/2020 19:00

Hi everyone I’m 5 + 3 today and still not experiencing many symptoms or if I have they seem to come an go. Today I’ve felt completely normal..can anyone relate? X

LittleGem638 · 30/03/2020 19:02

Just joining in :) 7+2 today. Booking in appointment on the 1st april will be over the phone.
Already had an early scan and saw little kidney bean shaped baby and heartbeat :)
Struggling with nausea at the moment (whenever I go in the kitchen it seems lol) but not being actually sick yet

Cavemountain · 30/03/2020 19:03

Thanks @Sakura54 just joining in!

NoseringGirl · 30/03/2020 19:28

@Addler it's good that everything is in the right place! How far along are you again? I hope the next couple of weeks pass quickly for you! I found the FRERs showed a positive first but took longer to darken than other tests. I'm a complete POAS addict but it might be better to step away from the tests if they're stressing you out!

HarrietM87 · 30/03/2020 19:30

@EleanorSaysFork I’m on immunosuppressants too - prednisolone for the first 12 weeks because of high nk cells - what about you? Haven’t heard re my booking appt yet but hope it’s over the phone.

tgwjslo · 30/03/2020 19:35

Hi 👋 joining as well! I was reading the end of the last thread and remember seeing someone post about nausea and seeing a doctor for it? If it helps, my GP prescribed me Cyclizine today for it and I'm feeling better 😊.

The nausea and vomiting was getting unbearable so hoping this keeps working 🤞

Wise0wl · 30/03/2020 19:39

@AnxiousLady1 I'm exactly the same, all of my meals pretty much have been beige food since I started feeling sick last week. I'm a bit worried that it's not giving me/baby any nutrients but it can't last forever, can it?!

Welcome to new joiners and congratulations on your BFPs!

canueve · 30/03/2020 19:40

@Addler glad all is well so far. how far along are you? I was earlier than expected on my scan, but managed to see tiny baby and a heartbeat at 6 weeks.

Just marking my place too and at 7 weeks tomorrow.

Hancock2020 · 30/03/2020 19:51

@Pink15 it's just the tip of the iceberg really, not so much with my DH but my mother, we are living in a less than ideal situation and I'm getting really annoyed at it. But this whole CV thing has put a massive spanner in our plans to buy our own place this year.

Pink15 · 30/03/2020 19:51

@Wise0wl I was worried about this too eating beige food but my weekly update on my app this week (pregnancy + app) said that our babies are tiny at this point and don't worry if you're not eating much as they only need tiny amounts of nutrients at this stage!

Pink15 · 30/03/2020 19:52

@Hancock2020 sorry to hear that sounds like you're having an extra rough time!!

Addler · 30/03/2020 20:07

@NoseringGirl @canueve That's what worries me, going by my LMP I'm 5+6 so would've thought they'd be able to see something by now

littlegem84 · 30/03/2020 20:08

Place marking here Smile

AnxiousLady1 · 30/03/2020 20:10

@Wise0wl and @Pink15 I was worried about only eating beige. Then I told myself that some people struggle to eat at all at this stage so something is better than nothing. I mentioned to my midwife that I was worried about missing nutrients due to being a vegetarian and she said the Pregnacare vitamins will give anything that's being missed out on.
