Hi all, just a little reassurance for anyone who's symptoms come and go...I was really starting to worry that I was feeling back to my 'normal' self I.e. bit tired but no nausea, morning sickness etc and thought it could be bad news. I had an early scan this week at 8 weeks and not only is there a heartbeat looking strong and healthy there are two of them!!! Still letting the shock and excitement settle in :-) obviously anxious for the next few weeks but in general feeling reassured and will try not to worry too much on the days where I am feeling ok from now on! We're in this together ladies, wishing you all well xx

Addler · 29/03/2020 13:50

@novicettc That's amazing! Congratulations!

Pink15 · 29/03/2020 13:51

@novicettc ahhh twins sooo exciting 🤗🤗

Hancock2020 · 29/03/2020 13:55

@novicettc omg congratulations!

BuffaloCauliflower · 29/03/2020 13:57

Thanks @novicettc I needed to hear that today. I’ve been so tired and off feeling all week and now feel fine today and you can’t help but worry. I know things fluctuate but it’s so worrying

Sakura54 · 29/03/2020 14:09

I don’t feel neglected yet as I have 6 appointments booked already for different things and nothing was mentioned about doing them over the phone. They seem to be going with the flow, as am I, but would rather not be going to hospital so much though...

Chuckem15 · 29/03/2020 14:27

Hi everyone! My sister just got me on to this (she’s still in touch with many of her group from having my niece in April 2014!) Just wanted to say hi, I’m due 19th Nov. Feeling OK, on and off anxious after a v early miscarriage in December. Sickness is not fun but lessens the anxiety. Just booked early scan for Easter Saturday 👍🏻

FlashesOfRage · 29/03/2020 14:51

@novicettc

Super Duper huge congratulations!!! 🥳

Carrying twins here too!
The moment you see both appear on the screen unexpectedly is just unforgettable and the absolute best isn’t it ❤️

Do you know if your twins are non-identical (Dichorionic, Diamniotic) or identical (monochorionic etc)?

Mine are Di/Di as we had to do IVF and transferred two embryos xx

AnxiousLady1 · 29/03/2020 15:08

@novicettc That is fantastic news! And I must say couldn't have come at a better time. Despite all the reassurances of symptoms coming and going, I can't help feeling worried every time I feel better than usual (such as today).

My booking appointment is being done over the phone. No idea how I confirm my weight to them as I've no scales in the house...

Natopp · 29/03/2020 15:14

@novicettc ahh that's such lovely news congratulations to you!! We are in this together sending virtual hugs xx

Fouryearslater · 29/03/2020 15:35

@Luckyhuman2020 I’m so very sorry x

@novicettc I bet that was a shock! Is there a history of twins in your family?

Hancock2020 · 29/03/2020 15:45

Hmm, so dh has just cooked himself a bowl of tinned meatballs, and I walked in the kitchen straight after and almost heaved, guess I dont like the smell of those anymore 🤣🤣 he has been ordered to keep them away from me lol

Pinktruffle · 29/03/2020 15:53

@novicettc Congratulations!! What amazing news, here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy x

Pinktruffle · 29/03/2020 16:01

@Luckyhuman2020 I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, sending you lots of love

Fredthespider · 29/03/2020 16:15

Hi ladies, I just got my positive this morning. I'm not 100% sure on the dates, but fairly sure I'm end of Nov. I had an ectopic pregnancy in Feb that thankfully sorted itself out naturally so I didn't need surgery, but I appear to have caught the first egg after that when I wasn't tracking ovulation. It's all been made more confusing since I had spotting and a bleed which I thought was a period from the 14th-22nd March, but it can't have been as the test today was a blaring positive and we haven't DTD since early March.

scrumdiddly123 · 29/03/2020 16:52

@Fredthespider I could have written your post practically! I’m unsure of my dates too as had a missed miscarriage in February. I also spotted/bled from 14-22nd March (literally just checked FF and it’s the same dates!). So strange! By the start of my MC bleed I’d be 6 weeks but by when I think I OV’d I’m 5 weeks today

LozEliza · 29/03/2020 17:06

@Hancock2020 mmm tinned meatballs. I could actually really really eat that right now! We don't have anything in the house I fancy. Im just going to have potato wedges for dinner. DH got me some ice lollies and they have been amazing.

Pink15 · 29/03/2020 17:15

@LozEliza yes someone suggested ice lollies to me and they're so good! I started making my own with juice or smoothie to keep it a bit healthier when you're eating several a day 😂

Sakura54 · 29/03/2020 17:38

@Hancock2020 that’s funny. Meatballs are the only thing I can’t stand/look at so far. Last week when I was there, my MIL weirdly put them into soup noodles which really put me off. Eww.

Mm ice lollies sounds like a great idea.

KatieGlo · 29/03/2020 18:04

I really want a glass of wine during this lockdown! I can't be the only one Wink

Lozzyloo86 · 29/03/2020 18:19

@KatieGlo omg it’s all I want! 🍷

Hancock2020 · 29/03/2020 18:24

@KatieGlo omg yes!
The though of having a glass of wine and just sat in the garden smoking and chilling was only thing that I thought would get me through this lockdown, then came my positive. I'm going crazy 🤪

Cavemountain · 29/03/2020 18:25

Hey hoping I can join this thread for some general reassurance as time goes on! First time pregnant 8w+2d.
Symptoms seem to come and go, glad that this is normal for everyone. I’ve never posted before so apologies for the random information...
obviously a bit stressed with the whole covid situ, had to tell work early however I am NHS staff and no chance of working from home...was worth a try!
Glad to hear everyone’s stories...seems like 12 weeks is a lifetime away

Hancock2020 · 29/03/2020 18:28

@KatieGlo do you like gin?

KatieGlo · 29/03/2020 18:34

Not really a gin person, but a lovely glass of rose would be heaven right now! I found a box of maltesers left over from Xmas today, so every cloud...
