Me too

Hancock2020 · 27/03/2020 20:30

Think I may have come into the sicky club today, on and off just nausea, even worse when I'm hungry but then I cant eat because I feel sick. Luckily I haven't been sick (touch wood) yet but still time 🤢

Pink15 · 27/03/2020 20:49

@Hancock2020 yesss I have this exact feeling of sicky hunger and needing to eat but now wanting to eat at same time - husband doesn't understand at all 🙄 tells me to just keeping eating if I'm hungry haha

Hancock2020 · 27/03/2020 21:02

@Pink15 I'm trying dry bread and water but its not really helping 😔
Attempted some garlic bread with dinner, that was an instant "no I dont like it" even though I ate g bread 2 days ago and was fine 🙄
I'd forgotten about this bit of pregnancy, I hate the 1st trimester, love the 2nd, and just cry all through the 3rd 😂

Addler · 27/03/2020 21:22

I am ravenously hungry it's insane. I had a gastric sleeve done a couple of years ago so can't even eat very big portions and don't normally get hungry, but I'm waking up starving Sad

Hancock2020 · 27/03/2020 21:30

I suppose THE ONLY silver lining with all this awful covid19 is that we get to stay home and feel like crap. 🤷‍♀️ (trying to find any positives to keep me sane instead of scared)

Wise0wl · 27/03/2020 21:40

Morning/afternoon/evening sickness has hit over here. Poor DH made dinner and I thought I was going to throw up 🤢

@hancock2020 agreed, I’m so glad I’m not feeling like this in the office!

FireflyGirl · 27/03/2020 21:51

Just checking in quickly.

DH and I are both working from home, with 5yo DS, and I barely get chance to keep up at the moment.

Flowers @holypoop

Pink15 · 27/03/2020 22:15

It's funny how we are all sooo hungry yet when I google it's like you shouldn't need more calories in your first trimester! Who wrote this.... men?!? 😂

OhHuck · 27/03/2020 23:08

Hi ladies okay if I join you? Hope everyone is staying safe. I am 8 weeks tomorrow (if I'm guessing correctly), had all-day nausea and fatigue for a fortnight, eating like a pig and craving spicy and cheesy foods. Today the actual sickness kicked in! Have been vomiting every time I eat Sad I skipped dinner and instead nibbled on some ginger biscuits. Half an hour later I lost them too. Scared to eat anything now but have a banana resting on my bedside table.

My booking in app is for 31st March but I've not heard anything? Guess I will have to give them a ring on Monday to check what's happening.

Whoamieven · 27/03/2020 23:42

Hey all
So booking appointment has been changed to a phone appointment and bloods now won't be done till the scan.
Scan I have to attend on my own, husband can't come.

Anyone else?

I'm 8 weeks today and eating like all you guys are saying! Today it's tomato soup and dairlylea triangles Grin

Whoamieven · 27/03/2020 23:44

BeMorePacific · 27/03/2020 23:53

Someone on Insta posted themselves eating a cheese & pickle sandwich and I instantly needed one.
Hopefully I haven’t passed on the urge to you girls... cravings are weird.
I am eating way too much.. need to get some maternity leggings on order ASAP Grin

Pippop21 · 28/03/2020 06:56

I think my nausea has begun to kick in...i woke at 4am feeling a bit queasy? Confused it seems to ease off after 5 mins or so, and i fell back asleep but I'm made up! Haha! Its settled my mind after 2 previous miscarriages xxxx

Pippop21 · 28/03/2020 06:58

@BeMorePacific last night i made a cheese, chicken slice and brown sauce butty for my tea! And i cant stop eating anything cheesy! Cheese cold-slaw, cheese pizza, and i am LOVING quavers right now haha xx

60sPony · 28/03/2020 07:37

@ParisInTheSpringtime I am at C&W and had my booking appointment over the phone yesterday. They called me a few days before to tell me it would be a phone appointment. Will take bloods etc and pick up notes when I go in for 12 week scan. No partners in for 12 scans at the moment. She also said that currently they are doing the 16 week appointments over the phone too but may not be anymore by the time that I am 16 weeks and to assume it’s in hospital unless I get a phone call to say otherwise.

Is this your first? I had my first there in 2017 and had a really great experience.

AnxiousLady1 · 28/03/2020 08:56

My booking in appointment is Monday and I received a letter (2 weeks ago) telling me to go a community centre for the appointment. Haven't had any phone calls telling me otherwise yet. Maybe as its not in the hospital maternity ward itself they don't see it as an issue...

Addler · 28/03/2020 09:01

I've got a viability scan booked for Monday night, still having really sharp pain on my right side and just want to check it's ok.

ParisInTheSpringtime · 28/03/2020 10:22

Thanks @60sPony. This is my first. I am hoping for a home birth and trying to find an independent midwife so I can still make that happen.

AnxiousLady1 · 28/03/2020 10:46

@Addler Best of luck with the scan Monday. x

Pink15 · 28/03/2020 12:06

Just eaten a bowl of plain pasta with some ketchup on the side for lunch as that's all I can stomach right now despite being hungry. Also tiredness has hit me bad!! So glad we get to stay in the house all day!

Fouryearslater · 28/03/2020 12:08

Just had an appointment through for booking in. 22nd of April and I can bring someone 🤷‍♀️ Seemed to be a template letter though so I don’t know if that will change.

Still only getting small waves of slight nausea. I’ll be over the moon if this is all I suffer with this time round, but I can’t remember at what point it hit me like a wall last time!

Ranoutofgoodnames · 28/03/2020 12:19

Hello ladies! I rumble on without much to report. I am a bit worried as I don’t have any morning sickness. Part of me of course feels lucky but I have googled (why did I do that) and it seems that it can be a negative sign not to have started having it by your eighth week (just going into that now). Anyone else not having it and can reassure me?

I hope you are all well and safe and able to stay inside as much as possible xxx

TangBloodyFastic · 28/03/2020 12:31

Hi all

Anyone else suffering with lower back pain? Admittedly I have had various disc problems in the past but seems very early to have this much discomfort, it's fairly painful but don't want to use any paracetamol just in case I cannot replenish if we get corona Sad
I'm worrying now that I'm going to struggle for the whole time which will make it a miserable 8 months
If anyone has any experience I'd be grateful for any tips/advice?

NoseringGirl · 28/03/2020 12:32

@Ranoutofgoodnames I know a few people, one being my Mother, who just don't get morning sickness. I remember complaining to my Mam about how sick I felt in my first pregnancy and she just shrugged her shoulders and told me she didn't get it as she felt fine when she was pregnant with me. Her only symptom was going off the taste of wine and that's how she knew she was pregnant 😂
