Carrying on our discussion and hopefully having less of the nausea, morning sickness and sore boobs as the thread progresses!

I’m so sorry @Luckyhuman2020. I don’t know anything I’m afraid, but I’m sure someone with some knowledge will be along soon. I hope you are ok x

HarrietM87 · 26/03/2020 19:27

@Luckyhuman2020 are you certain of your dates? When was your LMP and when do you think you ovulated? By 5 weeks you should be able to see the sac, but if you think you are 5+5 you could quite possibly just have ovulated and/or implanted late and so actually be like 4+6 or something, and it’s just too early. I guess they’re checking your HCG levels and that might give some indication. If it’s not conclusive they may need to repeat the test in a couple of days and/or rescan you. Fingers crossed for you xx

ACatCalledLola · 26/03/2020 19:27

I’m sorry you’re going through this @Luckyhuman2020. Is it possible your dates are off by a few days? I hope you get some answers tomorrow.

Luckyhuman2020 · 26/03/2020 19:41

I had FET indeed. 5 day blastocyst and transferred on 2 Mar. I was thinking it should actually be 6 full weeks now. But my fertility centre said they calculate from my LMP which was 15 Feb.

I stopped bleeding now which still give me some hope. But the fact that the gynaecologist said he couldn’t find anything, it really made me feel hopeless

Fouryearslater · 26/03/2020 20:11

Hello ladies 🙂

I haven’t managed to read the full thread but I’m 4+6 weeks today, found out this time last week, just as we start lockdown! At least I don’t have to tell work just yet 😬 So due 29th ish November.

Not many symptoms yet, but was EXHAUSTED last night, and had a bit of nausea in the mornings but that could be attributed to general stress and worry (and not being able to snack at will with a three year old in the house!). I hope the morning sickness isn’t as bad as it was last time round.

Awaiting booking in appointment. Won’t be going for an early scan this time as I’m not convinced the clinics will be open? Hopefully it will all die down by the time we’re due!

Hi everyone!

I'm 6 weeks weeks pregnant and also a front line NHS worker. I wouldn't class my job as essential (I do work on the wards). I was sent home last week for 12 weeks due to the governments advice. Today I have recieved an email from my boss forcing me back into work tomorrow against the current advice... purely because I work for NHS!. I don't think it's fair that NHS staff should have to choose between their job and the health of their baby! This all has me very stressed and worried as this is my first baby and I want to do anything to protect it.

Hancock2020 · 26/03/2020 20:22

@littlegem84 I'm sorry you feel like that, I wasn't suggesting that I think I would miscarry just that it has happened before.
Maybe you should speak to someone about your thoughts of miscarriage?

littlegem84 · 26/03/2020 20:39

@hancock2020 I had it with my first pregnancy as well and it’s really sticking in my head (perhaps compounded by the state of the world at the moment). Sorry, your post just highlighted my thought, didn’t mean to bum you out 😀

mamayoucefka · 26/03/2020 20:43

Hi all, hope you dont mind me joining in. I am 4+5 today and due on November 29th with baby number 2. Havent referred myself to a midwife just yet but booked in for a private scan. I had a blighted ovum 2 years ago and had to go through miscarriage at almost 13 weeks. I m so worried. I was expecting to get nausea by this time but apart from sore breast I am just fine(and I am not so sure if this means any good...) this is all on top of the covid19 situation- luckily I can work from home but hubby can't and this worries me a lot. Stay safe ladies 💗

Sakura54 · 26/03/2020 21:01

@LozEliza from my understanding, the 12 week scan along with the bloods they take early on, determine the risk of baby having downs etc...so it’s very important. That’s my next appt and I’ve already told DH he won’t be allowed in.

AnxiousLady1 · 26/03/2020 21:27

Had my private scan this evening. Measured bang on for dates at 7+5 and saw heartbeat flickering away. So relieved (for now!) as I am particularly worried following a MMC at 7+1 on last pregnancy. Hope the rest of you ladies are doing okay. Xx

Hancock2020 · 26/03/2020 21:29

@littlegem84 it's ok, I was the same when I became pregnant again after losing my first, but everything went fine and ended up having 9lb8oz baby Shock and then a successful 3rd pregnancy.
I know it's easy to say, but just try to push it to the back of your mind and enjoy your new pregnancy.

Addler · 26/03/2020 22:22

@@AnxiousLady1 where @AnxiousLady1 What company did you use for your private scan? I'm in the same boat

AnxiousLady1 · 26/03/2020 22:48

@Addler I went to Window to the Womb. Definitely recommend them. Much calmer experience than I had on last private scan. Overall they just seemed more professional.

Addler · 26/03/2020 23:56

Thanks @AnxiousLady1 I've just had a look at their website and they seem to have lots of slots available. I've started having twangs of pain on my right side tonight and trying not to worry, but it's keeping me up.

AnxiousLady1 · 27/03/2020 06:16

@Addler Try not to worry. Most people in this group have had pain in one side at some stage. A couple of weeks ago I kept getting pain in my left side and convinced myself it was ectopic. Obviously that wasn't the case. But I don't see harm in getting a private scan if it will put your mind at ease. X

holypoop · 27/03/2020 06:41

Morning all, no more bleeding as yet when I go to the toilet but still only early. Calling the GP this morning so hopefully they can get me in the epu today for a scan. Praying I'm still pregnant though I don't have much hope.

Anon87 · 27/03/2020 07:22

I've woke up with bleeding too. Didn't even realise as I don't check tissue as a routine, I just spotted the bowl ☹️
No cramps, no pains, quesiness and horrifically sore boobs still going strong, gotta wait till 9 for BEP to open for me to call.

holypoop · 27/03/2020 07:26

@Anon87 sorry to hear you're going through this too, fingers crossed we are both ok. X

holypoop · 27/03/2020 07:52

@Anon87 I've started bleeding again 😭

Anon87 · 27/03/2020 07:58

@holypoop At the minute it's only when i pee that I know I'm bleeding and it's a dark colour.
Are you heavier or having to wear a pad etc?

holypoop · 27/03/2020 08:08

Only when I wee so far, I've not got much hope that I'm still pregnant tbh. I've got a pad on but nothing on it as yet. X

holypoop · 27/03/2020 08:09

Mines a red colour so thinkinging it's a period about to start.

BeMorePacific · 27/03/2020 08:09

@holypoop and @Anon87 I hope you both get some good news. Sending love to you both x

FuzzyGoose · 27/03/2020 08:18

Hi guys, mind if I jump on? I think I'm 5+4 and due around 23 November by my calculations. This will be my second pregnancy 😁 hope everyone is staying safe xx
