Carrying on our discussion and hopefully having less of the nausea, morning sickness and sore boobs as the thread progresses!

@holypoop the breathlessness could be low iron

Pink15 · 24/03/2020 22:04

@ChampooPapi haha thanks will give anything a try! Nausea must be worth it then if onto number 4 😃

AnxiousLady1 · 24/03/2020 22:33

@Luckyhuman2020 Glad to hear the bleeding stopped. That must have been so unnerving for you. Fingers crossed for your scan next Friday xx

Pinktruffle · 25/03/2020 00:45

I've been having some strange heart palpitations this evening, and some cramps. I'm hoping it's just baby settling in but my mind is in overdrive I'm worry more now. I've not had as many symptoms today, not much nausea, boobs are still sore though but I'm on progesterone pessaries so could be that.

Can someone please stop me from worrying?! My scan isn't till 2 and a half weeks yet, God knows hows I'm going to make it to that date.

canueve · 25/03/2020 07:47

@mrsAndeke me too =( I always am very careful with what I eat as I have IBS, but it seems now that everything I eat makes me gassy ugh!

I have sore boobs, getting worse by the day, very very bloated and every now and then I get this tiredness out of nowhere and I need a nap immediately.
Really hoping no MS though

@Luckyhuman2020 I hope everything is ok and you can book your scan soon.

canueve · 25/03/2020 07:50

@Pinktruffle I had cramps and a sharp ache every now and then on my left side, it wasn't much but it made me worry anyway. I had my scan and everything is ok, so try and relax and thing of other things( easier said than done) until your scan.

SqidgeBum · 25/03/2020 07:56

@Pinktruffle symptoms change every day. Hormones change every day. Even when you get the scan, that scan only shows everything is ok on that day. When you walk out you are back into the unknown, but you cant think like that all the time. It's not healthy. You just need to take it that every day you stay pregnant is another day closer. You could be analysing symptoms for the next 8 months, freaking out every time, but that will just drive you insane. Take the symptom free days as a well earned break, and the symptom full days as a reminder that hormones go up and down. It's all very normal.

Morning ladies,

I’ve got a scan today I’m 7+5 weeks. We weren’t able to see heartbeat at our previous scan (5+5) following pain in my stomach as was too early but everything was looking fine.

Feeling so nervous about today as we would need to see the heartbeat. The EPU rang yesterday to say DH can’t come with me so feeling even more anxious.

Like many others I am struggling so so bad with morning sickness it’s unbearable. Literally counting down the days until it passes. Friend recommended ginger biscuits but I now associate them with feeling sick so having opposite effect..

Hope you are all well xx

wannabebump · 25/03/2020 08:44

@JJxo good luck today xx

ChrissyLove20 · 25/03/2020 08:54

@jjxo good luck with your scan. I hope it goes well x

NoseringGirl · 25/03/2020 08:59

Good luck @JJxo hope it all goes really well!

Survivingmy3yearold · 25/03/2020 09:19

Glad to hear other are up and down with their symptoms too. I'm having good days and bad days, Sunday was awful, definitely the worst yet. I threw up almost everything I ate and had got so down by the end of the day that I said to DP that I didn't think I could do it and am only 7 weeks in. Thankfully DP is very supportive and has been doing everything with DD and around the house and allowing me to rest. This is all so different from my last pregnancy, I had almost no symptoms until 12 weeks and they were nothing like as bad as this time

JJxo · 25/03/2020 09:43

@Survivingmy3yearold that sounds really tough, sorry you are having days like this. Pleased your partner is looking after you. You’ll get through this and it’ll all be worth it (I keep reminding myself of this too) Smile

JJxo · 25/03/2020 09:44

@wannabebump @ChrissyLove20 @NoseringGirl thank you xx

Sakura54 · 25/03/2020 09:47

@SqidgeBum well said. I’d be laughing if my symptoms ever stop! I also take it one day at a time and just try to survive. One good thing about this CV hell we’re in is that DH doesn’t have to go to work, yay for me!

Got my booking appt today, so that will be 1 thing out the way and I can find out what will happen with me and my annoying high risk pregnancy. Then only another 1 month until my scan :)

Pinktruffle · 25/03/2020 09:51

@canueve @SqidgeBum Thank you for being voices of reason, think I just got myself in to a real panic last night. I've slept and feel calmer this morning. I'm going try and stick to positive thinking. Little bean is in there and will be ok.

Thank you all again, I needed to hear that xx

TangBloodyFastic · 25/03/2020 09:56

Morning all!
Good luck with the scan today @JJxo

Anyone else feeling very irritable? I'm not sleeping well at all and tiredness and hormones probably isn't the best combo. Wish I could sleep through the night but 4am wake up every...single....night. Normally I'd take a sleep aid or a calms night time but (and I haven't looked) guess they're out of the question 😴😡😴

AnxiousLady1 · 25/03/2020 10:23

@JJxo - Best of luck with the scan today. x

@SqidgeBum - Great advice!!

BG1234 · 25/03/2020 10:47

Hi everyone, my first post on here! I am 37 yrs old, 5+4 weeks having had an ectopic with emergency tube removal just before Christmas. I was booked in at my EPU for my 6 week scan next week as they said they would monitor next pregnancy very closely. Yesterday they rung and cancelled and said to wait for 12 week scan. I looked into window to the womb but I’m just concerned over whether it’s a necessity or whether the reassurance is worth the risk of going out to a clinic during peak virus spreading...

LozEliza · 25/03/2020 11:06

@JJxo good luck with the scan.

I actually feel a bit better with regards to nausea and tiredness today (7+1) and don't feel so totally awful. We were asleep from 8 last night so that may have helped but then I woke at 1am for a while!

Does anyone else feel congested? It's not my nose as such but more so my head and ears that feel cloudy 😞

Survivingmy3yearold · 25/03/2020 11:15

Thank you @JJxo. It's good to know I'm not the only one struggling. Just keeping fingers crossed that things will improve and trying to think positively

SqidgeBum · 25/03/2020 11:40

I just had my contact from the midwife. I have my booking appointment over the phone on friday, and then I will have to go into the hospital on my own to get bloods done etc, and then the scan at 12 weeks will also be on my own. She said they may allow me to record some of the scan to show DH. I wont actually meet the midwife until my 16 week scan. Odd the thought doing it all alone, but of course it's the way it has to be done in these circumstances.

SqidgeBum · 25/03/2020 11:40

16 week appointment, not scan*

Hancock2020 · 25/03/2020 13:17

Has anybody found a wine substitute that actually tastes like wine?
Though this lock down would be ok as long as I've got a nice glass of wine, but then discovered bump lol Wine

ParisInTheSpringtime · 25/03/2020 13:26

Freixnet alcohol free Prosecco is good. I’m also having a small glass of red wine once a week Wink
