Carrying on our discussion and hopefully having less of the nausea, morning sickness and sore boobs as the thread progresses!

Ive has zero appetite for the past week and a half. I have a terrible sweet tooth and not even bothered for anything sweet. I feel just a bit out of sorts but no sickness - 5+1 so there's plenty of time for the sickness to raise its ugly head, although I hope not as I don't fair well with vomiting 🤢

mrsAndeke · 24/03/2020 16:18

Ladies, whose boobs are absolute killing them? Oh my jeezus.

Pink15 · 24/03/2020 16:21

@mrsAndeke yes!! I lay on mine by accident yesterday and felt like bricks!!!

TangBloodyFastic · 24/03/2020 16:37

@mrsAndeke not mine - how many weeks are you?
I'm anticipating all symptoms coming at once and flooring me!

mrsAndeke · 24/03/2020 16:40

@TangBloodyFastic I am 5+4, they have started to really hurt the past two days! And started feeling some nausea and going off some foods. Not fun!

canueve · 24/03/2020 16:41

Hey ladies, I just got back from my scan.
Baby is ok, in the right place and managed to see a heartbeat Smile, but I am a bit earlier than I thought, exactly 6 weeks rather than 7+4.

bluebell94 · 24/03/2020 16:47

Is anyone else quite breathless? I am otherwise absolutely fine, haven't been nauseous at all the past couple of days but this seems to have started. Just went up and down the stairs twice to sort the washing out and you'd think I'd just done a 100m sprint. I'd consider myself generally quite fit normally so it's weird! I asked my mam as she is a midwife and said it's perfectly normal - I'm also probably anaemic as I'm often borderline which is making it worse. I just feel wiped out! X

bluebell94 · 24/03/2020 16:47

@canueve amazing! I can't wait for mine. I bet you feel relieved x

AnxiousLady1 · 24/03/2020 16:54

@TangBloodyFastic I didn't start getting nausea until I was about 6 and half weeks. Some get it earlier, some later, and some not at all. I still find my symptoms can come and go and I'll experience some things one day, and not the next. But instead I'll have some other symptom (rather than feeling completely normal). Trying to just ignore how changeable it is, as the general consensus is symptoms can change like this.

AnxiousLady1 · 24/03/2020 16:56

@burntpinky - How are you doing? Did you manage to get a referral from your doctor?

Pink15 · 24/03/2020 16:56

@bluebell94 I've been feeling breathless on walking too and can feel my heart racing more than normal when I'm exercising. It's great your mum is a midwife! Will come in handy

canueve · 24/03/2020 16:59

@bluebell94 it did, much calmer now.

I am the same, I run out of breath a lot easier now.

burntpinky · 24/03/2020 17:04

@AnxiousLady1 yes (thank you for asking) but when I rang today they aren’t going to scan me for another 2-3 weeks! Am guessing it’s (a) because of current situation and (b) maybe he’s thinking it needs until then to be able to determine likely prognosis because so much can happen in early pregnancy. Doctor wanted to sign me off for a month due to this sickness but I convinced him just 2 weeks for now and he gave me additional tablets too.

So long wait to see if everything will be ok but I just have to deal with it!!

AnxiousLady1 · 24/03/2020 17:10

I know its easier said than done when having a wait this long, but I would take it as a positive they aren't looking to scan you sooner. Perhaps they don't foresee any imminent risk? For now, you can only take it day by day can't you. Glad the doc has done something about the sickness too. Hopefully the tablets help. Gotta take the little wins where we get them at the moment! x

Luckyhuman2020 · 24/03/2020 17:53

Hi ladies, @canueve glad your scan went well. It’s a relieve somehow.

An update on my side, my half-day heavy bleeding (with huge clots) last Friday really freaked me out, and I thought that was it. My fertility centre didn’t want to take me coz I was coughing, so eventually I just stayed home. But eventually the bleeding stopped and in the last few days seemed to be no more bleeding. I’ve got no symptom at all. So I just hope everything is still going all right. My first scan would be next Friday, by then I will be about 7 weeks.

So anxious at this unsettling time. How are you ladies holding on?

Sakura54 · 24/03/2020 18:05

The only symptom I don’t have is sore boobs..I didn’t even know that was a thing until seeing it here. Sounds bad! They were only a tiny bit achy and sensitive at the start.

@bluebell94 throughout my last pregnancy, I went for little evening walks with DH, but was only able to walk like a granny due to getting breathless!

Natopp · 24/03/2020 19:35

@mrsAndeke
I'm 6+5 today and my boobs are on fire and huge (I'm quite small usually) . They're also so heavy, if feels like someone has strapped some bricks to me. Woke up feeling like I'd been beaten up haha.
@bluebell94
I am out of breathe ever so slightly - glad to hear it is normal :)

Hope you're all OK ladies!!
Nausea has hit me hard these past two days. Husband made seabass with pesto and a fried rice for tea and I almost puked over him. I seem to be avoiding things with strong smells or sauces. I've been living off marmite on toast, shredded wheat with a tiny bit of oat milk and salt and vinegar crisps.... Oh and bourbon biscuits. A rather delicious diet if I may say so.... Grin

holypoop · 24/03/2020 19:57

What symptoms have you all been experiencing. Has anyone started having vivid dreams? My boobs are no longer as sore today but very full. Also, I feel bloated well more like pressure in the lower abdomen and a little dizziness. X

holypoop · 24/03/2020 19:58

Oh and breathlessness

mrsAndeke · 24/03/2020 20:00

I am so so exhausted and if I don't eat I feel sick, then if I eat too much I feel sick. Also I don't know if it's just me but I am so so so gassy. Not the best fun right now but very blessed!

ParisInTheSpringtime · 24/03/2020 20:01

@holypoop no real symptoms. Sleeping really well though at the moment, which is unusual for me. I’m usually a light sleeper but I’m sleeping all through the night.

SqidgeBum · 24/03/2020 20:45

Nausea. Vomiting (before I have even eaten anything in the morning). Exhaustion. Insomnia. Bloating. Sore boobs. Wind pains. Odd abdomen pains (like stretching). Feeling on the brink of tears a lot too .

I am 7+3. I am a walking (although I am mostly lying on my couch) mess.

holypoop · 24/03/2020 20:51

@mrsAndeke 😂I'm also gassy but not been as bad today, I also have a bit of lower back ache.
@SqidgeBum you don't sound like you'regoing through a great time 😕

Sakura54 · 24/03/2020 21:26

@holypoop I had nearly all the symptoms at first, but they have improved/gone (bad cramps, tiredness, dizziness, bad sleep etc). The only thing getting worse is the nausea and retching. I have to snack in between meals to quell it, which is something I never ever do.

I sometimes get pains when I sneeze/cough/move/walk, needing to pee during sleep, bloating. I think laziness is one of my symptoms lol I just want to lie around doing nothing. DM reckons that was the reason DS was breech; lazy mum, lazy baby lol but obviously not.

ChampooPapi · 24/03/2020 21:35

@Pink15 bird's eye potato waffles 🙏

They honestly are the best thing for the bad sickness times. Take it from me they are everything! This is my 4 the pregnancy so I know what I'm talking about here 😉
