ops, apologies for my typos.

canueve · 20/03/2020 19:28

@Audio30 glad to hear it worked for you. I went on 3 cycles and nothing, it happened after the dye x-ray, before I had to go on my 4th cycle.

MoreGinPlease2020 · 20/03/2020 20:16

@holypoop I can't believe that man and what he wrote. He's equally responsible for creating your baby, how dare he put it on you like that and become so nasty. I'm so sorry x

SqidgeBum · 20/03/2020 20:24

@holypoop that is awful. That's just not what a decent person says to a woman who is pregnant with his child.

holypoop · 20/03/2020 20:27

@MoreGinPlease2020 I know, I'm hoping it's the shock and he calms down in a few days though probably not.
I'm going to have to come to terms with doing this by myself and hopefully the hormones calm down and I stop being so upset about it all.

holypoop · 20/03/2020 20:41

Well ladies in other news, my current symptoms are sore larger breasts, constipation and slight abdo cramps oh and obviously fatigued.

How's everyone else feeling so far? X

MoreGinPlease2020 · 20/03/2020 20:42

@holypoop Whether he calms down or not, let yourself have a good cry about it. There's no shame in mourning the family you thought you were going to have. Just look after yourself and don't let him bully you. X

LittleMissSunshine2020 · 20/03/2020 20:57

Hi everyone,
Hope you don’t mind me joining. I’m 4+6. I told my work today (I’m a teacher and need to start working from home) and also told my parents because I felt guilty that my head teacher knew before them.
Feeling really anxious and worried about the whole pregnancy.
How has everyone managed to stay calm in all the madness?

I’m getting myself very worked up but can’t seem to help it.

Charlottethevet · 20/03/2020 21:00

@Chickoletta it's such an old ultrasound machine I dont think that the quality of the image would let me se a heart beat at this point Smile But I reckon I'm about 7 weeks at the moment - would seem to fit for the size and shape I think. xx

Chickoletta · 20/03/2020 21:04

We’ve got quite a high tech cattle scanner so may give it a go this evening. I think I’m 7+2 -due 4th Nov.

wannabebump · 20/03/2020 21:22

@holypoop virtual hugs xx

Wise0wl · 20/03/2020 22:28

@holypoop what a d*ck. please know there are a bunch of great women here supporting you, so please let us know if you want to chat X

BeMorePacific · 20/03/2020 23:54

@holypoop congratulations on your pregnancy. Hopefully your sh!tty time doesn’t ruin the fact that you have a beautiful baby growing inside you. I know it wasn’t the way you imagined it, but women are made of strong stuff and you can do it.
Don’t let him get away without at least financially supporting his child. You deserve so much better xxx

2019Mama · 21/03/2020 06:31

Hi guys hope you don’t mind me joining.. got my BFP last night.
Think I’m due around 29 Nov but that’s based around ovulation as I have irregular periods.

2019Mama · 21/03/2020 06:45

Also, i always find it hard keeping up on MN so I’ve set up a Facebook page which is completely private/hidden meaning no one on your friends can see you’re apart of it if anyone wants to join.. just PM me your email address and I’ll add you if you want

ACatCalledLola · 21/03/2020 07:49

Welcome to all the new bfps.
@2019Mama there’s already a fb page. Happy to add you if you pm me your email.
@holypoop congratulations and sorry you’re having to deal with a complete knob. We’re all here to support you.

2019Mama · 21/03/2020 08:54

@ACatCalledLola thankyou I wasn’t sure if there was one. I’ll pm you now

Littleb1t · 21/03/2020 10:07

Hi ladies.

I'm 5 weeks today and can't quite believe I'm pregnant (unplanned) just as all this coronavirus uncertainty is kicking off.

Had anyone spoken yet to midwife etc about worries about maternity services during the pandemic? I had a bad first birth and scared of what's coming if they can't resource the maternity wards. Also things like what if you can't get formula etc. This is feeling unreal.

Tonicandgin · 21/03/2020 11:50

Littlebit I've spoken to midwives. They're doing a lot of telephone appointments round here and limited face to face meetings when we have to - scans and the like.

I had a first appointment over the phone and then I'll have a telephone booking appointment in a few weeks.

By the time it's our births I expect the world to be in a different place and hopefully more back to normal.

2019Mama · 21/03/2020 12:02

@ACatCalledLola is the Facebook group private and hidden? Sorry I’m just a bit paranoid someone on my friends list will notice 😂😂
Or is the name something that ain’t obvious?

2019Mama · 21/03/2020 12:17

Sorry @ACatCalledLola I’ve just received the link to join and seen it is. Just paranoid as the last group I joined wasn’t and had lots of people messaging when I joined 😬

Cockatiel · 21/03/2020 13:09

Please could I join Facebook group? 👋

Only 4 weeks 3 daysish so still very early but may as well be optimistic!

Jazzeemoo · 21/03/2020 13:10

Hi guys! First timer here, I've had a look around when we've been trying but expecting 11.11.20 according to the calculator! Had a positive on Monday and did another today and it's even more clear! :D

FireflyGirl · 21/03/2020 13:25

Had my viability scan today, and all good. Measured 6+5 and there was a heartbeat, so that's reassured me somewhat.

The hospital was a bit surreal, with bits partitioned off with those thick plastic dividers you see in quarantine films, and having to wash/gel your hands every time you went through a door.

We sure picked a time to fall pregnant, ladies...

ParisInTheSpringtime · 21/03/2020 13:29

Is anyone having multiple early scans? I had one at just over six weeks, and thought I might book another for 9 weeks to divide up the time to the 12 week.

I’m also quite confused about testing. I’ve heard about the harmony test. Does that do the same as the nhs tests? Or is it extra?

I’m considering going private with the strain on the NHS at the moment. If anyone has any recommendations in SW London please let me know Smile
