Hi @Mummy1998 congrats! Mine looked like that at 10dpo which was 5 days before my period 🤷🏼‍♀️ - some people just have higher levels of hcg/the tests vary in sensitivity!

Mummy1998 · 19/03/2020 12:29

@HarrietM87 thanks for the reply! I’m a nervous wreck with what’s going on at the minute. Should I self isolate for 12 weeks? I think that’s the current guideline for pregnant women. I have a nearly 3 year old so this is going to be hard! Lol

Bumble88 · 19/03/2020 12:54

@Mummy1998 (I don’t seem able to tag properly) - the dark line is the control line, not the test line. The test line is on the left, which is the lighter one 😊

Mummy1998 · 19/03/2020 12:57

Hey @Bumble88, yes I know that :) I was just surprised as to how dark the test line was! As I haven’t missed my period yet. But seems that it’s normal! Thanks for the reply 😊

@Natopp @SqidgeBum I think I will pluck up the courage and do the same tomorrow! Thanks for your help

ParisInTheSpringtime · 19/03/2020 13:20

@Mummy1998 the advice is for social distancing, not self isolation.

Tiniestsky · 19/03/2020 13:23

Hi everyone, 5w+1 here and driving myself crazy with depressing thoughts and anxiety. I want to be happy about this so much but after 2 losses it's so hard :(
How you all getting on?

Whatatimetoseealine · 19/03/2020 13:28

@Tiniestsky I feel the same! With everything else going on too what a time to be early pregnant

I'm trying my best to spend my time doing nice things like reading when I can too and to calm down

bluebell94 · 19/03/2020 13:33

@Bluebell2020 hi, I'm in same situation Smile 5+3 with my first, I have a private scan booked for 7+5 which I'm hoping will allow me to relax a bit more as I feel like I still don't believe it!

Tiniestsky · 19/03/2020 13:40

@Whatatimetoseealine how far along are you?
I'm trying to distract myself but it's just overwhelming at times and I can't fight it. With waves of what feels like my period about to start too I dunno what to think or do 😩

Whatatimetoseealine · 19/03/2020 13:56

@Tiniestsky only four weeks, period was due Sunday and did the test yesterday just in case. I got upset with my DH yesterday night and then had a few cramps and got worried I'd done something to harm things but I know that's rationally not the case!

Tiniestsky · 19/03/2020 14:27

@Whatatimetoseealine it's crazy what our brains do to us hey, I get paranoid about everything I'm doing. Is this your first pregnancy?

Whatatimetoseealine · 19/03/2020 14:28

I had a miscarriage and then was lucky to have a lovely DD. She was born with some problems that happened in the first trimester though for an unknown cause so I'm utterly paranoid about the current situation!

JJxo · 19/03/2020 14:30

Hi all, hoping you are coping with all the changes us pregnant women have been advised around social distancing! Just to share with others who’ve mentioned earlier, I had some browny pinkish discharge last night at 6+6weeks. Rang EPU who have advised as long as it didn’t get heavier and no pain should be ok. Obviously would recommend everyone gets their own advise though as we are all different. Got a scan in 6 days when I should be almost 8 weeks, didn’t see heartbeat at last scan (just yolk sac) as too early at 5+5 so I am so looking forward to next week scan as would expect to see it!!

Pizzamyhart · 19/03/2020 14:51

I found out I'm pregnant this morning. I think I'm roughly 4+5 weeks. We've been TTC for nearly 3 years. I have a mix of excitement and anxiety. I have no idea when to contact a midwife. When I had my son I was on medication and had to see a doctor straight away to check if I could keep taking it. I don't need to this time. I don't want to put more pressure on my local surgery at the minute so I'm not sure whether to phone them yet or not.

Tiniestsky · 19/03/2020 14:51

@Whatatimetoseealine sorry to hear that, doesn't help with worry levels this time round then I'm sure. It's nice having a place like this to come and vent in and try to ease those worries (if possible lol)

Luckyhuman2020 · 19/03/2020 15:01

@Whoamieven thanks!
@Natopp oh dear. I hope you and your DH stay well.
@canueve thanks!
@inahaze, i got some dark brown discharge too. Freaking me out. I know that could be normal, but still every min of everyday I just can’t atop thinking if things gonna go all right. The time passes particularly slow.
@Tiniestsky feeling the same here. So much anxiety now but still trying to find a way to get some smile. My friend groups they are sending through some funny pictures or videos and they do give me some laughs.

Charlottethevet · 19/03/2020 15:17

it's been a slow day at the Vet's where I work. I can't really do my consults with the general public anymore. So, whilst down the back my Vet nurse and I decided to use the ultrasound machine and see if we could find the baby... looks like we did! I think I'm around 7 weeks atm?

I'm so sorry @inahaze. Look after yourself.

ohiwishyouwerehere · 19/03/2020 16:56

Does anyone have any advice or tips for really sore and tender boobs? Mine are so sore I could cry. Even rolling over in bed is causing me pain Sad

ohiwishyouwerehere · 19/03/2020 16:57

@inahaze I'm so sorry, I hadn't seen your post. Take care of yourself xx

Luckyhuman2020 · 19/03/2020 17:17
