Welcome @UrsulaSings @LittleBrownBaby you are both most welcome here ☺️

BS9790 · 29/02/2020 07:28

Thanks for the new thread.
Early scan for me tomorrow, 5 weeks 4 days according to LMP but actually only 5 weeks and 1 day by my dates. So not expecting to see much.. They just want to try and rule out ectopic.

seaduck · 29/02/2020 07:57

Good luck @BS9790 and welcome to the newcomers. TFMR is as much a loss as any other.

Had my booking in appt yesterday and booked for an early scan 20th March, its ages away but it's around the gestation I miscarried last time so probably wouldn't find it that reassuring before that point anyway.

Ibaadsmummy · 29/02/2020 09:09

Hi ladies I started bleeding 30th jan and mc confirmed 2nd feb but as nothing was left in scan dont really know how far I was or when ut stoped....anyways I tested positive on monday with lines growing darker over the week. Did I weeks ind⁷ictator today which said 2 to 3 weeks which seems correct at I think I'm 4 weeks plus hard to date as no af since mc...I also had confirmed negetive by epu before positive came and the fact it's getting darker I actually dare believe I am pregnant again. So worried and scared incase it's a chemical have a scan tomorrow was actually a reassurance scan following mc so I got lucky I probably wont see anything tomorrow but atleast the nurses can shed light on what's happening. Please pray for me. Dont really have anyone to talk to as dont wana discuss with fam and get all excited like last time. Hubby knows but dont wana keep discussing with him until its a solid pregnancy. Anyways sorry for long message just wanted to Introduce and get my situation known x

Avocuddles · 29/02/2020 09:34

@Ibaadsmummy you can talk to us, we all understand how nervewracking it is when you get that positive after a loss.

@LittleBrownBaby welcome, I hope your scan on Monday gives you a positive result and some reassurance.

@UrsulaSings so sorry to hear about your heartbreaking experience and you are definitely in the right place to get all the support and friendly listening ears that you need. How far along are you? I felt very low around my due date in January but getting this BFP the following week has definitely relieved some of that pain. My second pregnancy was due in April so I will no doubt feel sad around then but fingers crossed this one will be around 16 weeks by then. I'm still terrified every single day, but trying to keep strong as what other choice do we have?

Thank you everyone for welcome.

@Avocuddles thank you. I am 12 weeks. I have my dating scan on monday. Am really hoping baby is ok and as healthy as possible, have booked the day off work just in case. I had to have time off in Dec, it is really hard thinking that they would have been there by then, but life is just carrying on as if nothing happened. Although I conceived this baby a few days before christmas and I wouldnt be pregnant now if I hadn't lost the last little one so like you that kind of relieves a bit of the pain, but at the same time I miss my other baby even though I have this one.

Hope everyones weekend goes ok.

@BS9790 hope the scan goes ok tomorrow.

Rachael321 · 29/02/2020 11:09

Thanks for the new thread @Avocuddles

I cant stop shopping for baby stuff! Pram ordered last weekend, have bought cot sheets and a handful of babygros and a few wee outfits going to start adding baby bath etc soon to normal shopping to start building up too. Saw a good deal on the bottle and sterilising set I'm looking at and tempted to get that too. should I stop/slow down?

Ibaadsmummy · 29/02/2020 11:59

@Avocuddles thank you sooo much xxx it's nice knowing everyone here actually understands that sometimes it's all you think about 24 /7

Aria2015 · 29/02/2020 14:17

@Avocuddles thanks for setting up the new thread. Welcome everyone who is new joining. I've been dipping in and out of the thread but trying to limit my time online with pregnancy related things as it can make my anxiety worse.

I'm recovered from my virus and my sickness has come back so that's made me feel a bit better. Scan on Thursday. If that goes well I might dare to try and calculate my potential due date!

teaandtantrums90 · 29/02/2020 14:35

Hey, please can I join or am I too late?
Just got my BFP after 4 consecutive miscarriages so fingers crossed it's a sticky one x

Avocuddles · 29/02/2020 15:14

@Aria2015 glad you're feeling better. They'll give you a rough due date at the scan - it weird because it suddenly makes it all seem very real!

@teaandtantrums90 gentle congratulations on your BFP. You are very, very welcome and this is the perfect place to share the crazy rollercoaster of emotions you must be going through now. I hope that this is the beginning of your rainbow baby.....

@Aria2015 so glad you've gotten over you virus, hope everything goes well on Thursday.

@teaandtantrums90 welcome to the thread and congratulations on you positive. Sending you lots of sticky baby dust.

I've left the house 2 says in a row! Still knackered and have some nausea, but 100% better than I've been for well over a week. I'm trying not to get too excited, but I'm going to try to go to an aerial class tomorrow, even if I just lie on the mats and watch 😂. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

UrsulaSings · 29/02/2020 15:21

@Rachael321 I'm due 11th Sept and I havent bought anything yet! Dont think I will until after my 20 week scan! Not to say I'm not saving money though, I'm saving every penny I've got so when it's a bit further on I can buy everything I need, but personally I'd rather wait until I know for certain that I will be using the things I buy. But if you want to buy stuff then go ahead, it's up to you! x

Nooodles · 29/02/2020 15:59

Hi ladies, sorry to say it’s bad news from us today. Had our private scan, just for reassurance as this is when we lost our last one. There was no heartbeat and baby stopped growing a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely gutted to be going through this again, especially as we saw the heartbeat a few weeks ago. Will call EPU on Monday morning and take steps from there.

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread and wishing you all happy news with your rainbow babies. 💛💛💛 xxx
