@Knotemma I understand exactly what you mean and we did manage to have some 'non penetrative' fun last night! Maybe once we're past the 12 week stage we might feel more comfortable fully resuming things, but we'll wait and see..... @Aria2015 @Rachael321 @Littlegoth it's comforting to know that others are in the same situation.....

@Ibaadsmummy @AlviesMam glad your bloods are looking good so far. Hopefully you will get some continued reassurance over the coming very slow weeks.

@SunStruck next scan + combined test is on March 19th. Just over two weeks to go!!!!

Gah its scan day for me today. Not until 2pm which feels aaaaages away.

I'm not doing so good today. Been having lower backache for the last 3/4 days and it's leaving me feeling a bit crap. On top of which my dizziness and nausea are back with a vengeance today. I know deep down its probably normal and just due to pip growing but can't shake the feeling something is wrong. Don't know what to do for the best as my scan isn't until next Thursday...

@Treaclepie19 I have a scan at 2pm today too! 🙈

I am feeling so nauseous, which is a bit of a novelty for me, this is my 4th pregnancy and have only had sickness in the first. I was actually sick this morning. Hoping it passes soon.

Hello Everyone, I keep coming back to read past messages but its just getting longer and longer so I hope I haven't missed anything!

I am f-l-a-g-g-i-n-g at the moment and suffering with the dreaded constipation bleugh. Also feeling waaay more nauseous this week which is quite reassuring as my boob pain has lessened quite a lot (though not gone totally).
10 weeks today, finally double figures! Got my scan date yesterday which will actually be one day off 13 weeks gah! So 3 weeks Yesterday. Was really hoping it would be bang on 12 weeks! Feeling ok about it though after having the 9 week one last week, need to make some plans for the next few weekends to keep me busy.

Feels so weird that this day has finally come... all my symptoms pretty much disappeared just before 7 weeks... then had a bleed... scanned a few days later at EPAU and they said everything looked how it should with a good heartbeat... (same circumstances, different outcome in last pregnancy).

As time has gone on the few very mild symptoms that remained (breast tenderness, bloating, period-type cramps) have also pretty much disappeared now... I do still have bouts of insomnia and feeling very tired but they're pretty much my only symptoms now.

Been desperate for this day to hurry up but also dreading it too...

Anyway - yeah, I did explain some of this previously, and the anxieties over no symptoms is largely the reason I've been quiet on this thread for the past couple of weeks but I really appreciate how supportive people were at that time and continue to be now!

I'll come back to update either way! Xxx

@SammiLou2312 backache nausea and dizziness are all pretty normal symptoms but if you feel like something is wrong then maybe give your midwife or doctor a call for reassurance? Waiting is so hard isn't it, time is still moving so slowly.....

@TunnocksTcake I also had hoped my scan would be at exactly 12 weeks but alas it seems that closer to 13 is more typical!!! Looking forward to lots of 12 week scans on here in 2 or 3 weeks.....

Good luck with the scans today @Treaclepie19 and @didslysquiddlydoo! Hope the scanxiety isn't bothering you too much. I have my next one tomorrow and can think of little else...

@TunnocksTcake erm, may I humbly recommend to you (any anyone else who needs a recommendation) a daily glass of prune juice? It's pretty vile but is effective!

I had some brown spotting this morning. Not very much at all, just a bit when I wiped but of course I've convinced myself it's all going wrong. Then DH reminded me the same thing happened last year with DD and although she was stillborn, the early weeks progressed fine so I am really hoping it's just implantation bleeding. Feeling so bloated and gassy already.

@Avocuddles you're probably right. I keep telling myself it's all normal, just that stupid niggling voice in back of my head that questions every symptom or lack thereof... I know I could call my midwife but I worry that I'm just stressing over nothing and don't want to waste their time. Backache is more just discomfort now so going to wait and see if it stays that way.

All has gone as well as we could have hoped so far. Measuring exactly on my dates at 9+3. Baby was wriggling away 😍
We have a plan to have the normal screening tests and see what happens.

Ah lovely @Treaclepie19, congrats. Glad baby was a wriggler.

I am having my scan in a couple of weeks at same gestation, didn't expect it to actually look like a little baby by then.

Ahhh @Treaclepie19 I'm so pleased for you!

The positives of my scan - heard and saw strong heartbeat and a somersaulting blob!

Anxiety provoking parts - measuring small... initially they dated me 8 days smaller but revised this to about 4 days as the scan went on... it also didn't look anything like anyone else's scans around this stage - it is really unclear and just looks like a very small blob in a very large sac... 🙈

Trying to hold onto the positives of the day - the sonographer said it looked positive and the movement was a positive sign!

Gahhh I hate how precious losses feed my anxiety!

@didslysquiddlydoo the fact you heard heartbeat is amazing! Scan pics can be hard to get clear images. Especially if your little one was squirming and somersaulting all over lol. We were fortunate to get quite a clear one for our 10 week checkup but it took her 10 mins to get it as Pip wouldn't stop wiggling haha. Glad it was a good scan and I'm sure they will catch up in size soon xx

@didslysquiddlydoo I'm glad you saw little one ❤ This early on it's so common to be out with dates. That's why I was so surprised! I'm normally pushed back a lot until the 12 week scan.
I know that doesn't help though when it's not what you expect xxx
