First time poster... long time obsessive lurker!

Due 3rd November! Got our BFP Wednesday morning! Two pink lines came up almost instantly on FRER!

Got fatigue, cramps, headache and super sore swollen boobs!

Congratulations everyone 💕

mOmShanti · 28/02/2020 22:14

I’m so glad to see this board! I got a BFP at the start of this week, although even before I tested I knew something was up. I was really tired and also waves of nausea, in fact I was nauseous enough for it to wake me up. I haven’t yet been sick, and if anything the nausea has really died down.

I felt very tired simply walking upstairs- not an ideal situation for a fitness instructor 😂and I’ve noticed that my appetite is much less- which has surprised me. I’ve also had itchy eyes! What’s that about?!? Who knew!?!?!

Something else I wasn’t expecting was the cramps- I’m so glad to see from this board that I’m not alone in this. I’ve had period like cramps everyday and I’ve been feeling a bit anxious because of it... so I’ve retested and then retested again... I’m still pregnant... my due date is 8th November.... here’s hoping for the best for us all xx

Just jumping in, hellooooo 👋🏻👋🏻

Got a FRER bfp yesterday at 9dpo after IC we're taking up to 25. Ins for colour (which makes you assume evap!)
Going to keep testing each day until AF is definitely out of the way and then I'll contact DRs too.

Did an IC this morning, same wait 🤔 so after 2L of water in work and fluids tonight thought I'd try an IC and clear blue at 10pm. BFP on both all within time frame 😁

According to FEM EDD is 10th November. My 2nd (13yo) and DP's 1st.

Very excited to join the journey with you lot as this is all brand new to me now.

forestsmurf · 28/02/2020 22:31

Joining in ... had a faint BFP on Wednesday. Double checked with an internet cheapy this morning with a stronger double line. Have a FRER to do in the morning just to triple check!
If everything is ok then due 2nd November we have been TTC for 3 months.
3rd baby my other two are 8 and 6 so a big age gap for us.
So exciting, congratulations everyone ❤❤

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 22:51

@SJ1989 that's awful! Was this a receptionist? I'd make a complaint simply so another mother doesn't miss out on important screening as you say.
Hope you get it sorted and booked in:)

Sakura54 · 28/02/2020 23:59

Hi all! I’m new here. Due date is around 1st Nov.
I don’t think you should worry about cramps. I’ve had them for over a week...It’s how I knew I was pregnant as this happened with my first lol, so wasn’t surprised to get a BFP. Didn’t expect it to happen so soon though, as only just stopped the patch in Nov and started trying in Dec!

My son is 2 years and 7 months. Would have had another sooner if he wasn’t such a handful (and continues to be)! Couldn’t wait any longer though, because of the age gap.

Seeing GP in a few days and they will sort out all the antenatal stuff. No rush..it’s still early days. Not looking forward to pregnancy as my last one had some issues, so I’m probably going to be classed as high risk.

Congrats to you all!

Kendrick12 · 29/02/2020 00:53

Hi everyone please can I join? Firstly congratulations to you all! :-) I got my BFP on Sunday and have been doing numerous tests daily to make sure the line is getting darker. Like a crazy lady sat on the toilet comparing pregnancy strips!!! 🙄🙄🙄
I think my due date is 5th November. So far I have sore boobs but not constantly (which worries me when they're not hurting) occasional waves of feeing sick, struggling to sleep at night and extremely tired!
This will be baby #4 for me, I have 2 girls 11 and 9 and a little boy 7, this feels really strange as it's like starting all over again! I'm so excited to tell the kids as I know they're going to be over joyed but I want to hold out to make sure everything's ok with the baby first!! 😬😬😬 xxxx

Kendrick12 · 29/02/2020 00:54

Oh and anyone else keep getting weird dreams?? mine are very odd like me at the first scan and finding out I'm having twins (or more than 2 in some dreams!!) 😱😱😱😱 xxx

ohiwishyouwerehere · 29/02/2020 03:40

Hi all please can I join?
I did a CB test on the 24th and it was negative, did three yesterday that were all positive! I'm in complete shock, this is my first pregnancy, I've never really thought about having children. My husband is working away until Tuesday so I'm waiting for him to come back before I do anything else. According to the NHS site my due date is around November 3rd?

I emigrated out of the UK a few years ago so I am clueless as to what any of the procedures are in the country I'm in. Is there anything I should be doing? When would I go to a doctor? Do I book an ob/gyn or just a GP?

Sorry for all the questions
Congratulations everyone 🥰

essense18 · 29/02/2020 04:03

Hi everyone I’m new on this app. It was recommended by a close friend however I have an issue that I hope someone could relate to or give a possible answer to so I’m 48 days late period of course I did two pregnancy test today and they came negative additional information I do have irregular periods and I’m actually depressed and it’s becoming overwhelming I do feel I’m pregnant but I don’t want to go though anymore disappointments can someone shed some light because I’m in the dark

SJ1989 · 29/02/2020 06:37

@Whoamieven yea it was the receptionist, apparently he checked with another member of staff too, and I think I will complain just because it could be dangerous to people who don't know

teaandtantrums90 · 29/02/2020 07:09

@kendrick12 omg I keep having the weirdest dreams too! Lol so strange xx

CocoW · 29/02/2020 07:15

Hey Guys! Would love to join!
Got my BFP a few days a go & it didn't real sink in at first, Been testing daily since & the lines are darker each day.. The positive CB digital is what really made me it hit me ♥️
Been trying to conceive since June 2019 for our 1st. Due 6th November 👶🏻🤞🏼💫

Beesly · 29/02/2020 08:02

@essense18 I’d maybe make a drs appointment. They can take some blood and check for you that way. Hope you’re ok, sending hugs Flowers xx

mOmShanti · 29/02/2020 08:10

I’d probably have weird dreams if only I’d get some proper sleep! I’m usually blessed with great sleep but that’s definitely changed! I toss and turn and wake early 😑

teaandtantrums90 · 29/02/2020 08:12

@m0mShanti yeah I can usually sleep like a dream but I've been finding myself wide awake from about 4am every day! What's that all about lol xx

Talcott2007 · 29/02/2020 09:07

Hi everyone! I've been looking for the Nov Babies thread! Got my BFP on Thursday the day after AF was due. It came up really strong straight away. If all goes well my EDD will be 4th Nov (but I am likely to be induced at 38w because of a preexisting condition) I had a CP in Dec 19 so I'm am just taking each day at a time but already this feels different in a way I can't quite explain.

DH and DD have been away all week at the ILS getting home tomorrow - so he doesn't know yet! I can't waiting to tell him!!

carrot88 · 29/02/2020 09:21

Hi Everyone - can I join too? We just got our BFP this morning and I think I'm due November 4th!! This was our 2nd cycle TTC and we didn't think it'd happen this quickly as I'm 39! This will be our first! So far I've has vivid dreams and I'm not sleeping great (so tired) but other than that I'm feeling ok for now :-)

EssentialHummus · 29/02/2020 09:28

Hello everyone, lovely to read all your posts and see a nice big group forming!

Sleep better last night and had a lie-in as DH took DD, but still feeling very faint and with no appetite at all. Very odd for me!

lins84 · 29/02/2020 10:17

Hey guys just new to this. Was TTC for 2 years then Decided to stop for a while after christmas. Just got a BFP this week, completely shocked. Naturally tested multiple times to check. Would make it due at start of November. I woke up this morning to a small bit of light blood, naturally I have went into sheer panick mode. It was only when I woke this morning but you know what your mind is like. Has anyone else had this ?

mOmShanti · 29/02/2020 10:26

@teaandtantrums90 @EssentialHummus

Exactly! Who knew? Honestly I thought all you got was Morning Sickness... I’m so uninformed and I didn’t even know it. Hence taking so many tests because all these symptoms seem worrying..... It really doesn’t help that I have such a physical job either... I hope this phase passes quickly for us all!
Xx

LexieBB · 29/02/2020 10:43

Momshanti (couldn’t tag you), are symptoms pure and post bfp are so similar, down to the itchy eyes, lol. Also started getting winded very easily a week in advance which it’s a huge red flag as I’m also very into fitness and in great shape.

Such an exciting time. I can’t wait for my first scan. 🙏🏾❤️

SqidgeBum · 29/02/2020 11:05

Hi everyone! Yay for us all!!

I got my BFP 4 days ago. I have a 15 month old DD, and had been told conceiving DC2 was going to be 'difficult' as I they discovered I have polyps and cysts which effect fertility. I had accepted that baby number 2 may not happen easily (DD took 9 months to catch). We decided to stop using protection as I was looked at a long road. I got pregnant two weeks later! Confused Not going to lie, bricking it! Technically going to have 2 under 2 for about 3 weeks. I also have no family around me; they live abroad. Anyone else going to have a newborn and a very young kid?

SqidgeBum · 29/02/2020 11:22

Symptom wise, I had this feeling of car sickness from 3 weeks on my first baby, and felt it last Monday and just knew I was pregnant. It felt the exact same. I had quite bad morning sickness on DD so I think I am in for the same 8 weeks of nausea and vomiting ahead of me, just with a baby in tow this time! Also, I am crazy hungry (trying to snack on nuts rather than biscuits) and very thirsty, and knackered. I am basically identical to last pregnancy, like clockwork. Anyone have any ideas as to how to tell family? I plan on getting a 'I am going to be a big sister' t-shirt for when my parents come to visit in April. No idea beyond that (although most people who see me pre 12 weeks guess I am pregnant as I look like death but keep saying I am fine). We will keep it quiet as much as possible up to 12 weeks. I dont want to jinx anything.

Anon87 · 29/02/2020 13:16

11dpo and the IC's are starting to come through a bit quicker. Starting to show up on clearblue (not tried digital yet).
