@Busybee143 definitely not, they’re the best indicators. That’s how I knew I lost my last one, my boobs stopped hurting even before the blood came. If you don’t mind me asking, when in November? That’s when I lost mine too. Would be a bit spooky if we have the same due dates and miscarriage dates...!

LexieBB · 28/02/2020 15:09

I had the absolute worst nights sleep last night. Hot and cold flashes. Kept waking up with sweats. So uncomfortable.

Anyone else having night sweats? I looked it up an apparently it’s common in early pregnancy.

Hey guys! Can't quite believe I'm writing on a pregnancy group. Got a nice confident looking bfp this morning after 8 cycles of trying. I think I'm due 3rd November. Sore boobs and mild on and off cramps, very tired (but haven't been sleeping well). Have been starving all week! That's it for me so far.

PS hi @beesly I remember congratulating you on a smep thread earlier this week! X

Busybee143 · 28/02/2020 16:06

@Whoamieven yeah we really wanted all our babies to be close in age, she's such a little cutie, cant wait to spend the weekend with her.

@Beesly i had mine 15th November wbu?

Busybee143 · 28/02/2020 16:06

@Beesley if its the 15th im going to be creeped out hahah!!

Beesly · 28/02/2020 16:09

@Busybee143 mine was 16th haha, close!! Still creepy

@Lnix hello!! Congratulations!! So happy for you Grin

ParisInTheSpringtime · 28/02/2020 16:10

I got a positive test this morning...we were meant to start trying properly NEXT month Hmm I’m guessing due mid November but need to do a proper test tomorrow morning. First timer. Terrified. Confused

Busybee143 · 28/02/2020 16:27

@Beesley that is very close!!!! I had got my cycle back pretty fast but last month i had a really weird cycle, started spotting a week before i was due then after a week of spotting i finally had af.

Keep getting cramps and lots of white discharge today, sorry for tmi but its worrying me a little, going to poas as soon as im home to see if i have had any line progression as i feel a little stressed about it

Beesly · 28/02/2020 17:00

@busybee143 I spotted last month too, right through my ovulation week! Also got loads of discharge and cramps today. My cramps have been localised to the left but it’s kinda moving to the right and middle now

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 17:11

Hi all. Didn’t post for a while as thought it was just a chemical but this was this mornings so it’s not!

Probs not going to be able to catch up on all posts now (as already have a 17 month old at home) but will try going forwards!

My symptoms are extreme tiredness, headaches and sore heavy boobs!

@Beesley mine is like period cramp and its making me worry, i also keep getting twinges in my ovaries and a poking sensation near my belly button, not sure whether its normal.

@burntpinky

Welcome!!!, when is your due date?

notinthestarsigns · 28/02/2020 17:45

I’ve just had a letter from the hospital today, first midwife appt on 23 March and first scan on 20 April. I think I will be getting an early scan done privately as that seems so long to wait! Don’t think I will feel like it’s real until I see a scan!

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 18:13

@Busybee143 - thank you and 7 Nov all being well! I’m getting cramps too which feel like period cramps so making me worry also. Am hoping it’s just my uterus reacting to a second pregnancy but I’m nervous as had a MMC in 2017

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 18:15

@notinthestarsigns - we got a scan at 10 weeks with our first as part of the Iona test and also found out the sex. He was moving and everything at 10 weeks!

We also had one at 8 weeks to rule out ectopic (turned out to just be bad trapped wind😂) and he was just starting to take a baby form then

Busybee143 · 28/02/2020 19:50

@burntpinky im hoping cramps are normal as i keep getting waves of them

notinthestarsigns · 28/02/2020 19:51

@burntpinky what’s the Iona test? I had a look at somewhere local to me and they do early scans from 7 weeks for £50 so I was thinking at about 8 weeks

Lnix · 28/02/2020 20:03

Pretty sure cramps are normal at this early stage guys. Hope so anyway! I had them with my first and have had them on and off all week. X

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 20:04

@notinthestarsigns - it’s the blood test you can get at 10 weeks (which you also get a scan with) which tests for all the trisomys (downs etc) and you can also find out the gender - all from a simple blood test. It’s also called harmony test and there might be another brand too.

I only had it as I was 39 when pregnant with my first so at higher risk and will get with this one as I’m now 41!

I think 8 weeks is a good time for an early scan as you’ve suggested

SJ1989 · 28/02/2020 20:22

I rang my GP to book in today and they tried telling me you don't get seen till 16 weeks, rang the hospital to try and book direct with them and they said the GP midwife has to do it, rang the GP back and explained what hospital said and they still tried claiming you don't get seen until 16 weeks so need to ring the midwife direct on monday

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 20:24

@Lnix - thanks for the reassurance - I sure hope so!

teaandtantrums90 · 28/02/2020 20:38

Got a very faint positive today!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Louise24902 · 28/02/2020 21:05

@Whoamieven this will be my first😁 had 2 chemicals but this is my first to stick (so far🤞)

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 21:18

@SJ1989

Are you UK? That's not true surely? First scan has to be before 14 weeks to allow for some tests?

Defo speak to midwife :)

SJ1989 · 28/02/2020 21:38

@whoamieven yea I'm in the UK, I tokd the doctors it was wrong as booking in and bloods should be at 8 weeks and scan at 12 also told him the maternity unit had said he was wrong but he was convinced! Luckily I know its wrong but some people would believe him and miss important anti natal care

Beesly · 28/02/2020 22:00

I’ve just booked my early scan for 6 weeks. I know that’s early but it’s when the heart starts beating and I need to know that there’s something there
