Hi everyone, signing in - thought I was due 31 October but it now looks like 1 November. This will be my second - DD is 2.5.

Symptoms... sooo tired. Could fall asleep anywhere, which is really unlike me. This is helpfully combined with waking up alert and ready to go at around 4am each day. I also have the sense of smell of a bloodhound, and absolutely no appetite. One episode of morning sickness, and one of passing out (!). Luckily I was on my way to visit a friend and conveniently conked out in her hallway.

I have a booking-in appointment with the local midwives for next Friday, which seems rather early. Thinking of opting for a home birth - DD was born in hospital, but there were aspects of her delivery that make me think I'd do equally well/better at home.

@rachelrainbow I love it! Beautiful line progression. I have one test left that I’m saving for tomorrow (it’s my birthday) I’ve taken two so far. Not letting myself buy anymore!

Whoamieven · 27/02/2020 22:09

@Beesly @rachelrainbow

I've been testing every day!! Thank god for Amazon cheapies and/ or £1 Asda tests!

On my miscarriage the tests didn't get darker so I'm a bit hooked on them this time

LexieBB · 27/02/2020 22:19

Thank you all for prenatal suggestions!

@rachelrainbow - I have been testing daily since first bfp Tuesday and will continue until I get in to see my doctor. ☺️

Ranoutofgoodnames · 27/02/2020 23:05

@Whoamieven @beesly yes was 14th but not really romantic more military style operation 😂😂. Third month trying - feel very lucky and trying not to move much. Have taken about 30 tests in order to see the line get stronger and now need to step away from the sticks

CrabApple00 · 28/02/2020 03:02

I'm taking folic acid & vitamin D which seem to be the ones v recommended but I'm going to research more (can't get an all in one here).

I'm definitely having an 8 week scan. They're relatively cheap here & I think I might (maybe?) calm down when I see it's heartbeat.

Today is my blood test. Also, hello new symptoms of night/early morning waking! ConfusedHmm

CrabApple00 · 28/02/2020 03:03

folate not folic acid - only because the pharmacist said that was better!

KittyWindbag · 28/02/2020 04:30

I got my positive on Tuesday. Feeling very tentative and cautious. I think I’m due very early November.

20wedding19 · 28/02/2020 05:54

@rachelrainbow - oh thank goodness, I'm not the only one!
I have tested once a week since the 14 Feb including today! I thought I was going a bit loopy!Grin

20wedding19 · 28/02/2020 05:58

@Whoamieven - 27th October... I missed that! Thank you x a million

burntpinky · 28/02/2020 07:21

@SkyBlue20 - awwww thanks so much, that’s really really nice of you! How you are doing well? X

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 08:01

@EssentialHummus

Congrats!
HB sounds good!
That is quite early for booking but also means you should get a can date when you need it. Sometimes here they can't fit us in by 12 weeks£

rachelrainbow · 28/02/2020 09:13

Morning everyone. Got my first dye stealer today at 19dpo! So happy! Think it’s time to back off the tests now and accept that this is real 😂

@rachelrainbow
What's a dye stealer!Confused
This is my photo (excluding all the internet cheapies I've done too!)

novicettc · 28/02/2020 10:55

Congrats to everyone on their BFP's!!! I got my first ever one this morning and I havent stopped shaking with nervous excitement since Blush I had a semi faint line on a cheapie and then a positive (2-3 weeks) on Clearblue. I am so shocked as I came off the pill after a very long time and apart from my withdrawal bleed I've only had one period since. Unsure what to do now other than do a few more tests over the next few days and assuming its sticking I'll contact my doctor Smile

In terms of symptoms I have been very tired in the evening, quite thirsty even though I'm keeping hydrated, I've had some very vivid dreams and randomly my legs have felt burning hot at night...

So looking forward to following everyones story here!!

cmosh · 28/02/2020 12:08

Hi Everyone! Congrats on your BFP's!

Got my BFP on 3 rd month of TTC on Wednesday eve, still in complete shock! I have PCOS and Endo so did not expect it to happen so quickly.

Faint lines on IC and FRER but CB Digital confirmed 1-2weeks. Worked out my due date as 6th Nov!

I've just ordered Cytoplan Pregnaplan - they have the folate I think @LexieBB mentioned?

Before that I've just run out of pregnacare.

Anyone else super exhausted?! Work is proving such a struggle right now!!!

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 13:53

Which baby is this for everyone?
I have 2 boys, 1 miscarriage and now this one:)

20wedding19 · 28/02/2020 14:03

I'm taking these as I just gag horribly with the normal tablets - yuck!
Congrats @cmosh and @novicettc!

Thank you @20wedding19 Grin

This will be my first ❤️

Beesly · 28/02/2020 14:17

I have a 4yo daughter, 1 miscarriage. Really starting to worry as my boobs don’t hurt much and that’s usually my first sign. I’m 4 weeks today and this is usually when my morning sickness starts. Keep telling myself that every pregnancy is different!

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 14:29

@Beesly I keep proding my boobs all day, convinced they aren't as sore as they were. I don't feel sick, I don't feel tired :/
But I am only 4 weeks today so hoping it's just too early!

Beesly · 28/02/2020 14:32

Me too! I was talking to someone yesterday and completely zoned out and touched my boobs. They must have thought I was mad

Beesly · 28/02/2020 14:33

Sorry @Whoamieven, forgot to tag. New at this!

Busybee143 · 28/02/2020 14:43

@Whoamieven @Beesley
Thought i was the only weirdo that felt my boobs! Im worried as mine arent super tender, had a miscarriage in November so im terrified ill loose the bean.

Whoamieven · 28/02/2020 14:49
