@JM0934 how many weeks will you be at your first midwife appt? I've been trying to google when the first appointment should be but it just keeps saying less than 10!!

Hi everyone, got my BFP at 8dpo a few days ago. I'm due November 22nd I reckon. Really looking forward to it.
Who have you told so far? This is number 4 for me. What number baby is it for you

@Happymama24 we have the same due date!! So exciting 🥳 baby number 1 for me!

@JJxo normal up until 20 weeks but then consultant straight after 20 week scan and it was meant to be monthly scans after that but she measured small one time so they put it up to every 2 weeks but then decided she was going to be big and estimated she was 8lb5 at 38 weeks but she was born 6lb5 lol the growth scans are only estimates and not always accurate

@Pink15 I will be 7+3. Tbh I thought they wouldn’t see me until I’m at least 8 weeks but I’m not complaining lol! Have you self referred yet?

This will be baby #3 for me. I've told my parents, in laws and a couple of close friends. I've unfortunately had 3 losses in the 2 years we've been TTC and those were the people who have been supporting us so I've told them in case I need that support again. It's also just nice to have some people I don't have to hide it from!
Who have you told?

@Happymama24 congratulations!!! This is my first baby and so far we have only told our families. It’s so hard to not be able to tell everyone! I just want to get to my 12 weeks scan and be able to tell people with a bit more confident

@JM0934 I'll ring the doctors on Monday if all well as AF isn't even due until Sunday so want to be extra sure! Will also tell our families then probably x

It our 14th anniversary on Saturday so waiting to tell my husband then.
We usually wait until after scan around 12 week mark before telling anyone else. Although with no4 I'm not sure I will hide it that long😂
I have a 8yo DD, 5yo DS and 2yo DD.
This is probably our last so I might find out sex this time we usually wait until birth.

@Happymama24 I found out DS’s sex at the scan as I really wanted a boy, plus it’s hard enough choosing one name, let alone a backup name. I want this one to be a boy as well lol but will be fine if it’s a girl. Must be exciting to wait until the birth to find out though!

We've found out the sex both times at 20 weeks but I really want to leave it as a surprise this time! DH is keen to find out though!

Hi everyone, can I join? Got my bfp on Monday with a frer and used a cbd on Tuesday. AF not due until Friday so the cbd in the pic below seems a little surprising considering what is says in the instructions that I'm really 4-5 weeks? Anyone any input?

@NoseringGirl so sorry for your losses. Will you have an early scan? The surprise wait has always been lovely. Last time I totally convinced myself I was having a boy - it was a girl!!! Took days for it to sink in. Everytime I would look at her I couldn't believe it.

@sakura54 I find it so difficult picking boys names. I would always disagree with OH and visa versa. Girls names seemed to come easier to us

When was your last period? Mine was 9th feb? I have a 34day cycle and I am 3weeks 4 days pregnant.
Do you have a short cycle? Maybe your hcg is high. Your first scan will get the expected due date if your unsure... Congratulations 💐

@Happymama24 - I was the same, my husband and I were convinced I was having a boy! Bought loads of neutral and boyish clothes then sent my mum to by the pretty stuff when my daughter arrived. was totally thrilled but also surprised as my instinct was so strong and so wrong! Haha!

@Happymama24 I'm hoping to have an early scan when I'm 7-8 weeks. Not booked it yet for fear of jinxing myself!
I think it would be lovely to have a surprise. This will most likely be our last baby and I'd love that experience!

@onetime10 congratulations! Do you have a history of twins in your family? could also be that you've ovulated and implanted earlier than expected!

Hi Dear and absolutely big congratulations to you too! I have Indeed told my manager about this, and it helps that his wife is pregnant too so he somehow understands what I’m going through! I have already been barfing a bit, I really did forget what it’s like! Is this your first?

@Whoamieven I am so jealous about your work from home situation, I am in the office and this corona is taking us by storm! This morning I received an email that someone tested positive in the family of a co worker and now they are thinking of measures to take 🤷🏻‍♀️ Yet I am still supposed to come in to work! Very little research is done, are we all to die if we catch it?🤯

Someone needs to take these tests off me!!! Don't know what I'm doing, DH thinks I've lost the plot (and I'm inclined to start agreeing).
Can't stop testing. Think it's because I went to GP on Monday as I had no idea what I do next and they asked for a urine sample to test and it was negative so really threw me. I know it's just because their tests mustn't be as sensitive but still! I just want to FEEL pregnant 🙈
I just need to keep looking at the (many) pictures of positive tests on my phone and remember that this one came up instantly this morning and remind myself I AM PREGNANT. Gahhhh I'm such a worrier! It's just surreal. X

So 6 weeks today, been suffering with a lot of sickness and complete exhaustion, and have had tender boobs for a while, but nothing compared to my previous pregnancy. Woke up this morning and my sore boobs have gone into overdrive I hope they don't stay like this for too long, even taking a bra off and putting on pj's is really painful!

I'm confused, I have 2 different pregnancy apps as they discontinued the one I used last time and was seeing which one was most similar and I put the same dates into both and one says I'm 4+4 and the other says 4+5. I know it doesn't matter and it's only one day but I still think it's odd!

The one I like most says 4+5, so I'll go with that. Last period was 9th Feb.

We're going to tell our parents on mothers day I think as we may need their help before the 12 week scan. Ordered a 'big brother' t-shirt for DS so will just put that on him and wait for them to notice. I'm spending the whole of next week with my Nan as well so she might be the first to find out if morning sickness starts!

Got my BFP on monday! - was so shocked if i follow first day of my last menstrual period then i would be 4 weeks +5 today.
Will be first pregnancy, but feeling anxious, and trying to not get too excited if case.
