@Elley2912 - I cannot find your question...this thread seems to be moving super fast at times! If you re-post I am sure someone will be able to help x

Hi all, fairly successful visit to hospital today. Been measured as 5+5 weeks so slightly earlier. No heartbeat yet as expected but saw the gestational sac and yolk sac. I’ve been booked in for another scan in two-weeks time. Seem to have a uterine abnormality but have been told no expected impact but after doing some research may put me at higher risk and mean more regular scans etc. As I’m sure others are feeling, I’m a little overwhelmed and processing everything.

bluebell94 · 11/03/2020 18:15

@JJxo pleased it went well today. Do you feel more reassured?
I've worried non stop and it dawned on me that yeah this is probably my life now, I can imagine a DC will cause me endless worry over the years!! This will be my first and I'm quite an anxious person at the best of times.

NoseringGirl · 11/03/2020 18:20

@JJxo I'm really glad to hear it went well, I've been checking back to see if you'd updated!

@bluebell94 when I had my first son, I remember thinking I could stop worrying after the 12 week scan but he's 6 now and I still worry! It's just motherhood! Those first few weeks of pregnancy are some of the most stressful though! Saying that, I've not had a teenager yet!

Time is going so slowly, I'm hoping to get an early scan at 7-8 weeks but that's 3 weeks away! I need distractions!

JJxo · 11/03/2020 18:29

Thank you both. Yes definitely feel more reassured. And like you @bluebell94 this is my first so know the feeling you both mean about constant worry from now! X

Wise0wl · 11/03/2020 18:31

Hi all,

Please can I join? I've just (this afternoon) got my BFP. I'm shocked! Due 14th Nov I think.

I've been really snowed under and working all the hours so wasn't focusing on it this month, but had been exploring why I keep getting spotting throughout my cycle. Only realised I was very late when the GP called to book in blood tests and asked what CD I was...!

Feeling very overwhelmed.

BabyDancer · 11/03/2020 18:36

Hi all, can I join too?!

I had a scan today as I haven't had AF since 15th December and didn't know how far along I was in my pregnancy. I found out I'm 6 weeks tomorrow - due 5th November! I'm a lot earlier in my pregnancy than expected considering the circumstances but it was lovely to see my tiny little baby's heartbeat

jessica288 · 11/03/2020 19:50

Hi, I'm new here, due 7 of November 😀 so happy

Pink15 · 11/03/2020 19:53

Hey everyone! 👋🏼
Yesterday I got a faint line on preg test and today darker again!
So from nhs calculator I'm due 22nd Nov!
Super excited but also can't really believe it's true yet! My AF would be due Sunday so if it's not here by then I'll be more assured!!

Anyone else still not really feel pregnant yet?!

Shepard1208 · 11/03/2020 20:00

@Pink15 Absolutely me!! AF due today or tomorrow and I’m freaking out thinking it’s going to come and I’ll be disappointed. Not feeling very pregnant until my symptoms show up a bit more, even though I’ve got 4 bfp’s! Though I guess I’ll be wishing I didn’t have symptoms in a while (hopefully)

SJ1989 · 11/03/2020 20:02

@JJxo can I ask what abnormality? I have uterine didelphius so basically two wombs but connected to one cervix

Pink15 · 11/03/2020 20:21

@Shepard1208 I know I keep thinking that in a few weeks I'll be wishing I could go back to being symptom free 😂 I just can't wait to get a little bump but Inknow that's wayyyyy off!
Also isn't it so weird that the gender, hair colour etc is already decided now!!

bluebell94 · 11/03/2020 20:40

I know I'll probably regret saying this if I get horrific sickness or anything but right now I'm willing myself to get ANY symptom. I can't even really say AF is late as my cycles are so irregular since coming off the pill, I didn't think I was pregnant at all but did a test on Saturday (my Saturday habit 😂) and was shocked! I've done so many tests since, all positive and had 1-2 weeks on digital test but I don't feel pregnant at all.
I just want to believe it a bit more, I'm stressing! I'm prodding my boobs regularly, they don't hurt and I don't feel sick 😂 although I think I felt a bit queasy this morning but now I've conceived myself it was all in my head because it didn't last long Confused

JJxo · 11/03/2020 20:44

@SJ1989 I was told very casually that my uterus is heart shaped but that it was nothing to worry about however information online indicates I would be at higher risk. How are you feeling? Have you just found out about this recently?

Pink15 · 11/03/2020 20:47

@bluebell94 I agree with all this! I keep prodding my boobs too 😂 I'm gonna keep testing every day until Sunday as that's when my period is due. When are you due?

Quail15 · 11/03/2020 21:00

@bluebell94 I'm the same, I feel slightly worried that my boobs don't feel any different.

My 1st pregnancy was Ivf and very different, i guess because I was injecting progesterone daily my pregnancy symptoms were extreme from before my bfp. This time I feel a bit lost. The only symptoms I have is implantation bleeding/spotting instead of af 🤷

bluebell94 · 11/03/2020 21:02

@Pink15 ridiculous isn't it! 😂 I think around 16th November, it's tricky with my cycles being so all over the place but last AF was just over 6 weeks ago and think I'm probably about 4 weeks now so I'm going with that. What about you?

ChasingTheSunshineAlways · 11/03/2020 21:03

I'm struggling with the hunger. I expected to eat a little more but honestly I can see how women gain a lot of weight, I feel hungry all the time. I keep thinking, 1 more piece of toast/ etc can't hurt.

Also baby brain is so real. I feel so distracted and am struggling to focus on work.

Welcome everyone that's joined!

Wise0wl · 11/03/2020 21:06

Thank you for the warm welcome!

@ChasingTheSunshineAlways you’ve given me an excuse now for eating an entire sharing bag of chocolates on the train earlier. I didn’t know I was pregnant at the time but now I won’t feel guilty about it!

SJ1989 · 11/03/2020 21:06

@JJxo yours is similar to mine then, for a lot of pregnancies a heart shaped doesnt have massive impact unless the pregnancy is attached to the central bit as its not as secure so to speak. I found out a few years ago and was told because I had a very small womb then a 2nd attached to the same uterus that I would struggle to conceive and highly unlikely to carry a full term pregnancy so was high risk with my daughter but the consultant was amazed how well my pregnancy went, I had extra scans and appointments with consultant but she arrived at exactly 40weeks weighing 6.5 with a smooth and pretty easy labour. I know its hard but heart shaped does allow for a completely healthy pregnancy so try not to stress too much

Shepard1208 · 11/03/2020 21:07

@Pink15 Oh my god that’s scary, no way! I’ll have to tell DH he’s desperate for the bean to have his eyes Hmm haha. Same with the bump!! I just want there to be something so I know for real it’s happening haha.

@bluebell94 I’ve been poking my boobs all day, its ridiculous - they were really sore for a few days but it’s calmed down now so that’s convinced me somethings wrong. Also, according to my pregnancy+ app I’m due November 17th! 😁

Chickoletta · 11/03/2020 21:12

@Emelene - thanks so much for the Reassurance page! Despite my advanced age (!) my risk is statistically very low, which is great to see.

JJxo · 11/03/2020 21:17

@SJ1989 thank you for sharing your story with me. You have no idea how much this has helped me right now. How regularly were you monitored during your pregnancy?

JM0934 · 11/03/2020 21:26

Congratulations on all the BFPs!!!!

@bluebell94 just want to say I’m exactly the same and I am 5+1 today! I don’t feel pregnant at all!! I have a bit of lower backache today but other than that, I haven’t got anything! I’ve too have done so many tests haha! I’ve been testing everyday since I found last week and my digital test has gone from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks and I don’t think my FRERs can get any darker now, they literally come up within a few seconds! I wouldn’t know I’m pregnant without all these positive tests!

I’m just trying to not think about it too much, which is really really hard! I really wish I could feel something haha.

Try to relax a bit ( I know it’s hard!!) I’ve got my first midwife appointment booked in a couple weeks so I’m counting down the days and hopefully I can get a date for my 12 weeks scan! Time seems to go so slow at the moment!! Grin

Pink15 · 11/03/2020 21:29

@bluebell94 I'm due 22nd November :)

@ChasingTheSunshineAlways I've actually been super hungry the last 2 days so maybe it is a thing!! I put it down to having breakfast earlier than normal 🤔
