October 2020 babies

Hi all,

I am ftm nearly 6 weeks pregnant and have due date of 12/10/2020 ☺️ . Wanted to have mums who are expecting baby in October 2020 to share their journey experience.

Would love to hear from you ☺️👍🏻

Yeah i guess.

I have an appt on Monday for then to check that area again.

They said they just monitor it throughout pregnancy and will check again at 28 weeks.

They also said sometimes pushing the baby out can push the cells out too so heres hoping!!

@Kelc87 thank you, you have made me feel much better! Still have almost two weeks until my scan and have been so worried about my loss of symptoms this past week. You have given me hope

That was my biggest worry but turns out totally normal... glad i could help try not to worry easier said than done I know xx

@Mp0304 how did your scan go?

One more sleep today really hoping today goes quick so think I'm going to do my hours this morning for my job have dinner then blitz the house! 🤣

Am I ridiculous for wanting to wash all my dd white baby bits after the scan tomorrow providing everything is ok? First trimester is so long🤣

I was thinking of doing a list maybe of due dates once we've all had our scans keep track of who's when ?

Is anyone else taking their prenatal vitamins in the morning? I throw up like 10 minutes later after taking them and not sure whether to take them again...

@marauder1994 I take mine with my evening meal half way though and I've never felt sick after. Maybe give that a try?

Hey everyone just checking in!

I’m 12 weeks today. My first scan has been moved to next Thursday when I’ll be 13 weeks 1 day (or so I think!). I rang the hospital and had it confirmed that I will have to go alone. Hoping I can video for my partner, he’s gutted he can’t attend.

Symptoms are easing off but still flippin’ constipated!! Just about to eat weetabix with prunes and chopped pear on... hoping this will help! I took a huge glug of lactoluse yesterday aswell

@marauder1994 I take mine in the evening with a glass of water and a couple of biscuits

Is anyone suffering with headaches? There every day now 🤢 not helping with feeling sick

My sickly feeling has gone now but yes I've been getting more headaches, trying to drink lots more. My only symptoms now are that, constipation badly. I'm feeling more energetic thank god as I just wanted to sleep all the time before. Aw and also bloated, look 5 months gone 😩😂 xx

I had my 12 week scan today and I'm so relieved! I was super worried before but they said there was no concerns so now I am reassured. I can't wait to join the fb group and tell all my friends and family. One happy mummy to be 😊

I had also had constipation issues but trying to eat a high fibre diet lots of fruit and veggies seems to help. I hope it passes soon.

Baby all good measuring 13 weeks 2 days so I'm even further than I thought. Going to be a fatty lol.

I'm only 10w 1 day but bang on the dates I thought... baby looked good for weeks but did not stay still constant somersaults hence the picture of baby's back 🤣

Aw beautiful pic, bet you feel relieved hun. Will you have another at 12 weeks? We got all scan photos for free with not being able to take partner in which was very kind. Yes she struggled to get full view of mine as he/she was laid on its belly, had to have a wee so she could check everything lol xx

@Nic20052007 I've got another at 13w2d so they can do all the checks. Fingers crossed little monster plays ball!

@Kelc87 yes happended with me, I went down to CIN11 then was seen every 3 months,6 then 9 months and was signed off so fingers crossed childbirth helps you too.

Congratulations to all those that have had their scans! Mines on Tuesday feeling abit of anxiety creeping in.

I'm so consiptated as well and odd feeling of nausea but that's it. Ugh I tell you what I can't handle, brushing my teeth it makes me heave and vomit so annoying. Anyone have any cravings or adversions? I seem to just want to eat EVERYTHING lol but get full really quickly.

@85NM I was exactly the same! My app was 8:40 and I didn't go in till 9:10 I was so nervous.

The one thing I love but can't stand atm is lurpak 😢😢😢 craving mainly carbs

I was like that brushing my teeth with dd it's awful! This nausea has been different I feel hungover 🤣

@MrsCl19 do you find this pregnancy is very much different to your dd? I was awful with my dd symptoms wise vomited 24 hours a day till about 16 weeks and really bad food advershions...this time nothing much! My scans in the morning so happy I don't think I'd cope well with an Afternoon appointment!

@85NM yes I feel it's a lot different! That's good! I have a scan at 13w and that's an 8:40am one aswell luckily 🤞🏼 I've just paid a deposit on a gender scan for middle of May so I'm hoping they are back open even if it's restricted by then.
