October 2020 babies

Hi all,

I am ftm nearly 6 weeks pregnant and have due date of 12/10/2020 ☺️ . Wanted to have mums who are expecting baby in October 2020 to share their journey experience.

Would love to hear from you ☺️👍🏻

Same here I woke up this morning and my boobs killing! Sickness is still there but I would say its easing slightly. I'm 11 weeks on Monday. I'm taking it week by week but yeah I am going to wait to tell my boss for a while yet

@Catherine1210 -thanks -your OH sounds similar to my DH he works for a manufacturing company but is senior management not on shop floor and can work from home but his company is part of a huge American company and they have closed their factory down in America! Not sure he'll get full pay if his factory closes as there won't be enough work for him to do at home if they're not making anything but demand for them at the moment is huge so they're very unlikely to close! I'm not working my DD is stuck at home with me and already missing her pre-school friends - the gym was my source of switching off and my me time but now my gym is closed I'm struggling to find another way to take my mind off my test and the days are really dragging!! Xx

Got my appt for the epu tomorrow morning - after empty sack last week and in total 12 days of bleeding we are as prepared as we can be for the worst

@BooMamaBear ah that does sound very similar! Thank goodness they can work from home.

Oh no, I was only saying a couple of weeks back I’m going to go to the gym and do an hours up hill walk with Netflix a few times a week... not anymore!

Aww I bet she is missing her friends. Hope you manage to occupy your DD it’ll be a challenge I’m sure, my sister is at home with 3 boys and she’s already having melt downs!

Just think it should only be temporary and we will appreciate life at this slow pace after a bit more... maybe x

I'm in a similar boat. I went for a scan at eight weeks and was told there was a heartbeat but it was only measuring six weeks. I am going back this evening and I'm trying to stay hopeful but two weeks difference doesn't look good. Not sure how much work I'll be getting done today....

My DD is really good so we're doing ok do far - we're doing learning games first then she's allowed to watch tv for a bit while I do some housework then we do a fun game, then we read together then it's tidy up time while I make dinner!! Xx

I'm counting down till Thursday and keeping everything crossed, right now all I can think of is that today I am pregnant

@StrawberriCream how did your scan go? Been thinking about you all morning.

Unfortunately it's as we expected - things hadn't progressed and if anything the sack was smaller and irregular shaped, got to go back on friday to plan how to make sure everything goes

Well im hear to update that i got another BFP today 5weeks tomorrow from lmf and due the end of november so i'll be popping over to nov 2020

I just wanrwd to share my news aa i cant tell no bugger yet and im really pervious as this bfp is aftwr 2 losses xxxx

Hi ladies how is everyone??

Hi all I'm new to this. I am 12+2 and still a nervous wreck. I've not shared it with everyone yet as we had a miscarriage in Oct which was our first and totally broke me, I've literally just worried and had anxiety since finding out. I work in a school so I'm off now for 12 weeks, I had to tell my headteacher as I didn't want to take the risk. We paid for a private scan last sat, I was meant to be 10 weeks 3 days but measuring 11 weeks 2 days then and all is fine so felt better. Symptoms are easing now, still tired and boobs still hurt but I can eat more now and have more energy.

Welcome @Nic20052007 my hospital scan is Thursday to! Nice surprise being further along!! I'm between 9-11 weeks but I think more 9 so I'd be very happy if they said I was further on Thursday

Aw that's exciting we are both on the same day, we will have to both post pics. I wasn't expecting to be further as I definitely had my period the 8/1 lol so I'm guessing baby is going to be bigger. Feel like the hospital might tell me a different date though lol.
Such a worrying time and no one I know is pregnant now so will be nice to speak to ladies in the same boat 😊 x

Hi @MrsCl19 I'm also between 9-11 weeks, still not quite sure. Waiting on my letter for my scan but apparently it won't be for another few weeks 🙈😭

@FarmerWantsABaby ohhh that must be awful waiting on a letter! Luckily here we get a date at our booking app which I'm happy about as it gave me something to look forward to
