@SomethingAboutYou please don't worry, I'm very similar in some things! We are here to support and if you need an ear to listen 🥰🥰🥰

FarmerWantsABaby · 04/03/2020 00:01

I'm still getting full achey abdominal cramps from time to time. And then dashing to the toilet out of fear 🙈. I'm still nauseous and can only seem to tolerate carbs at the minute.
@Minster2012 you've lost weight!? I am piling on the pounds and I have no idea how as I'm barely eating! My lower stomach is so bloated too I swear I look pregnant despite only being 6-7 weeks. 😩

Minster2012 · 04/03/2020 07:06

@FarmerWantsABaby in theory I’ve only lost a bit of weight since finding out I’m pregnant, about 2kg, but since January (we’ve been doing the IVF since Dec) I’ve been eating really well, & cooking well for both of us, a couple of veggie, vegan meals a week to up veg & nutrient intake, up until transfer I was going to the gym etc a fair bit As prior to Xmas & over Xmas my alcohol intake was ALOT & I put on a stone extra I didn’t need so I’ve lost that & a bit more...I’m currently basking in the fact my MIL has commented ever after we got our BFP (they don’t know) that I lost a lot of weight & look great so I’m hoping I can put a bit on & hide under baggy jumpers a bit til they know 😂🤣so I’m just carrying that on to keep nutrients up...so far I’m not craving much 🤞🏻🤞🏻But getting a bit of bloating

marauder1994 · 04/03/2020 11:29

How is everyone feeling these last few days? X

MrsCl19 · 04/03/2020 14:35

@marauder1994 very nauseous 🤢 I can only stomache plain foods unless it's chicken selects 🤣 how are you?

Minster2012 · 04/03/2020 16:42

Not a lot to report here @marauder1994 pretty much (& worryingly) symptom free but I’m trying to enjoy it (even though my Viability scan is still 2 weeks away let alone a 12 week one 😥)

FarmerWantsABaby · 04/03/2020 18:30

@Minster2012 my viability scan in Tuesday and I am shitting myself. Took some very achey cramps in work today and was nearly crying with fear. Then panicked because I didn't feel sick in the afternoon like I usually do? It's amazing how much we torture ourselves.

BooMamaBear · 04/03/2020 22:09

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow saw the heartbeat yesterday so that relaxed me a little and I feel sick now but I had been better of late - it's just that my all important 11 week test is just under 4 weeks away and the days are dragging so much then I have to wait another week to get all the results! Xx

Minster2012 · 04/03/2020 22:24

@FarmerWantsABaby cramps are a good sign, your body is preparing & stretching & giving baby some roooooom!!

@BooMamaBear that’s good on the heartbeat, one hurdle out of the way 🤞🏻

Indigogirl88 · 04/03/2020 23:12

Ive been feeling sick and tired but I have managed to not be sick so that's good. Still struggling with food, carbs and cheese still. I've found mint tea helps calm my stomach a bit.

Other than the booking appointment and waiting for the 12 week scan do we need to do anything else? I feel like the midwife went through so much at the booking appointment but then didnt say I had to do much else other than get the flu jab?!

otterbaby · 05/03/2020 13:21

Hi everyone, finally joining the group...I'm nearly 10 weeks with my second pregnancy. Our daughter passed away at 16 weeks due to a chromosomal abnormality in Oct 2019, and this little bean is due in October as well so both of my babies will be October babies ❤️

I've already had a scan at 8 weeks as I had a bit of bleeding and everything was great with the size & heartbeat. My screening scan isn't for another 19 days now and the wait is killing me...so nervous for this scan as that was the one where we found out our little girl wouldn't make it last time.

Wishing you all healthy pregnancies x

Minster2012 · 06/03/2020 08:15

Morning & welcome @otterbaby that must have been tough but another October baby! The waiting is awful, I’ve not got a scan til the 18th March and that’s at 8 weeks so then another wait til the 12 week one! It’s all waiting!! Haven’t really fit any symptoms yet which I’m trying to see as a good thing but it doesn’t help to ease my mind that there’s something still there 😬🤷‍♀️

otterbaby · 06/03/2020 10:36

Thanks @Minster2012 it is a nerve wracking time, isn't it?! It's hard not to get carried away with your thoughts.

BooMamaBear · 06/03/2020 16:31

@otterbaby - so sorry for your loss hun, the first few weeks just drag I know how you feel tho I've lost two little boys at 12 and 13 weeks (TFMR) through a genetic chromosomal abnormality that would have had devastating consequences for the baby if it even survived to full term!
I have had a dating scan at 7+5 and I'm now 8+1 I have to wait til 31st March for the CVS so they can test if the baby is affected or not 50/50 odds - I find out the results a week later! It just seems so long away I'm trying not to stress as I know this isn't good for the baby if it is ok but it's way easier said than done! This is my 4th pregnancy I was first time lucky with my DD who is now 4! I'm currently feeling really sick it seems last from 3pm-8pm it had stopped for 2 days before yesterday -false hope it had finished! Xx

BooMamaBear · 06/03/2020 16:32

If anyone is due the same date as me please don't tell me you due date as I don't want to know mine unless the baby is ok as that is the hardest day!!

Indigogirl88 · 06/03/2020 18:40

@BooMamaBear queue the same for evening sickness exactly the same between 3-8pm

otterbaby · 06/03/2020 19:16

@BooMamaBear yes, mine was a TFMR as well 😔 so so sorry to hear about your little boys. Pregnancy after TFMR certainly adds a new layer of anxiety, doesn't it?! I had a CVS last time but not having one this time until we get the results from our screening scan.

Suppose at least the sickness is a bit of a reassurance at least! The one good thing to come out of it haha.

Indigogirl88 · 06/03/2020 19:31

Hows everyone's stress and anxiety levels? Mine is pretty high today (I have a lot on my mind, non pregnancy related) cant seem to shift it Sad

Mp0304 · 06/03/2020 20:56

Another scan today, but it was private and measuring ahead at 7 weeks plus 5 days and all looks healthy and healthy strong heart beat! 🥰

October 2020 babies
Minster2012 · 06/03/2020 22:03

Aww lovely scan @Mp0304 I looked into private scans round me today & the only one that did from 6weeks to 8 weeks (when I have a scan anyway) closed down in mothercare all the others are about an hours drive away & I have limited availability without DS anyway so bit pointless 😕
Trying not to get disheartened instead I need to focus on enjoying the feeling of at least thinking there’s no reason I’m NOT pregnant now

BooMamaBear · 07/03/2020 10:41

@Mp0304 -I had my scan last week and it was measuring 7+5 too I saw the strong heartbeat, the little bean and the yolk sac!! I'm now 8+2 -but I didn't read the report the consultant wrote as the EDD is in bold and I don't want to know it unless I get the OK from the 11 week CVS! Xx

FarmerWantsABaby · 07/03/2020 23:58

Anyone's taste buds gone up the left?
Just after some carrots and hummus and at times it tasted of diesel to me 🙈 (no idea how diesel tastes.... but it tasted like the smell of diesel? 😂)

MrsCl19 · 08/03/2020 07:56

@FarmerWantsABaby how strange 🤣 I just want crispy chicken and fish 🤣

Have we got any gender guy feelings yet? With my dd my gut was a girl and this time my gut is a boy but who knows 🤣

BooMamaBear · 08/03/2020 11:36

I've got my last 3 right first a girl then two boys but this time I really have no idea as my symptom this time are different -first time I had no nausea with my DD my second pregnancy I was ill all day but I knew it was a boy and i was right, third time was same so I guess led a boy and I was right again! This time I just get nausea in the afternoons! It's difficult coz both the boys were too poorly to survive so I don't know if my symptoms were so bad coz they were poorly or coz they were boys! I really don't care what we have as long as it is healthy I can find out at 11 weeks following the CVS anyway coz they check the chromosomes! Xx

MrsCl19 · 09/03/2020 05:39

@BooMamaBear fingers crossed for you! I think all any of us want is a healthy baby

I don't mind either way either. How many weeks are you now?
