Adapted from the popular thread on Chat. Hoping particularly that we can support one another through pregnancy sickness, hyperemesis, varying apetites and food cravings or aversions. Let's try not to be judgy

Breakfast: brown toast and peanut butter, banana
Lunch: jacket potato with cheese and a bit of salad
Snack: several plums
Dinner: lots more salad, few bites of pizza

I’m 8.5 weeks and the thought of chicken or salmon (which I usually eat loads of) gives me the heebie jeebies.

I would love to just eat salted crisps and chocolate all day but I’ll probably have gestational diabetes like the last time so trying really hard not to

My children are grown up but both pregnancies I was super sick Envy all of you suffering have my sympathy Flowers

never ate breakfast, lunch was lucozade and ginger biscuits, dinner was plain pasta with vinegar on or beetroot sandwiches on white bread Shock

I am usually a very healthy eater! At least losing pregnancy weight wasn't an issue...never got over 10 stone!

DS was 7lb and DD was 8lb 10 Grin they are healthy adults so my inability to keep most food down at least didn't affect them!

PixieN · 04/02/2020 22:21

28 weeks
B: peanut butter toast, orange juice

I feel like I eat loads more than many of you do 🤣 although this isn’t much more than I ate before I was pregnant and I’m very small (5ft, size 4-6). I do around 12,500 steps per day though and when I CBA I go swimming or Pilates :)

FingersXssd83 · 05/02/2020 19:35

10 weeks today! I've had:

Porridge with frozen cherries and raspberries

I’ve been beating myself up for not eating some ridiculously healthy diet consisting of chia seeds, superfoods and 10 portions of fruit and veg a day, so this thread has made me feel a lot more normal!

Breakfast: cornflakes with strawberries, OJ
Lunch: quiche and salad
Snack: one chocolate brownie and a cuppa
Dinner: big bowl of pasta with cheese and mushrooms
Snack: yoghurt

MostlyAmbridgeandcoffee · 06/02/2020 00:48

B bacon and scrambled egg on sourdough
L 5 ryvita with salty butter (craved that!)
D bolognaise with home made wholewheat garlic bread
Snacks: a rich tea biscuit with a squirt of cream and a celery stick with some cheese !
9 weeks today

SunStruck · 06/02/2020 02:12

Marked this thread! It's too early here (6am) to post anything about what I've eaten today, but I will do later 😁

Question - I see that quite a few of you ladies are drinking coffee/eating ham/eating poached eggs or dippy soldiers/blue cheese are you not very strict with what you're eating when pregnant?

Please note that this is not an attack of any kind, I am seriously asking because I don't know how rigid I need to be with these 'rules'?! I'm trying to obey them but I'm dying for medium steak or medium eggs!

SunStruck · 06/02/2020 02:17

I suppose I can put down what I ate yesterday! 😄 I am 6+3

B: 2 whole eggs and 1 more white, scrambled and made in the microwave (easy and healthy at work). One slice of brown bread with some low sugar jam

S: a cup of skinny hot chocolate

L: leftover home made chili from the day before, some avocado and spinach rice and a dollop of sour cream

S: one slice of brown toast with a slice of Edam cheese, melted

D: small tomato soup and a slice of bread

I definitely eat more carbs when pregnant!
