Adapted from the popular thread on Chat. Hoping particularly that we can support one another through pregnancy sickness, hyperemesis, varying apetites and food cravings or aversions. Let's try not to be judgy

Breakfast: brown toast and peanut butter, banana
Lunch: jacket potato with cheese and a bit of salad
Snack: several plums
Dinner: lots more salad, few bites of pizza

20 weeks tomorrow!
B: homemade fruit smoothie, cup of tea, crumpet with butter and jam
L: ham salad sandwich, chunk of cheddar and some cheese & onion kettle chips
D: going to be roast chicken, roast potatoes, yorkshires, veg and gravy.

I definitely eat much better at weekends when at home, at work I’m constantly snacking and have a drawer full of cereal bars and fruit pastilles!

LividLaughLovely · 02/02/2020 14:21

All I’m saying is: Five Guys banana and peanut butter milkshake.

£5.25 but worth every penny ☺️

Treaclepie19 · 02/02/2020 14:24

B beans on toast
L pub lunch. Roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, carrots, peas, cauliflower and gravy. There was Turkey too but 😷
Then had a jam donut pudding with ice cream

Dinner will be cheese cobs and I'm sure I'll eat some chocolate tonight 😁

Bezalelle · 02/02/2020 14:28

Three spoonfuls of chocolate spread straight from the jar.

DH is making a stir fry tonight.

Pralinehalo · 02/02/2020 14:35

8w4d and today all I've managed to eat so far is some pineapple and a snack sized malt loaf. Thank God for pineapple as it's one of the few things I've been able to eat consistently.

MsMiaWallace · 02/02/2020 14:43

A slice of whole meal toast with marmite on.

10 weeks here! I'm lucky in that I haven't had any food aversions really or cravings (apart from ALL the food!). Just constantly hungry and nauseous if I don't eat. So far have already put on 2.5kg so starting to worry about my weight especially as I have gone from running 3xweek to just brisk walking 30 mins a day as my doctor doesn't want me running any more after some bleeding.

So today:
B - Porridge with brown sugar
S - handful of nuts and raisins
L - chicken and salad, kiwi and hot chocolate for the calcium
No snack yet this afternoon but know the nausea will kick in by 4 so will probably have a Krisproll and dairylea triangle
D - will be steak, baguette, tomato salad and fromage frais

mrpoopybutthole · 02/02/2020 15:32

Breakfast :Half bowl of branflakes
Snack: Fruit, yoghurt & some mini pancakes
Lunch: Prawn cocktail crisps, homemade soup & 2x crumpets with melted cheese
Dinner - chicken encroute with steamed green veg
(probably snack of some biscuits later or bit if cake. Do this every day atm)
39 weeks today & appetite is definitely back!

IslayBrigid · 03/02/2020 19:30

Fruit seems to be a common go to for people in the early stages!
Today I've eaten:
banana oat blurberry pancakes with yoghurt, lemon and maple syrup
an orange
some hazelnut chocolate
grapefruit juice
some mandarins
some cheese on crackers
some oven fries (went on to throw up half of these...)
now waiting for DP to make katsu curry for dinner... hope I can keep it down (why is there no emoji for feeling sick? testing it out... [sick])

IslayBrigid · 03/02/2020 19:32

I'm 10 weeks today. Can't wait for second trimester, hoping it brings relief from sickness/exhaustion/hormones!

mouse1234567 · 03/02/2020 19:33

21 weeks -such a sweet tooth and always worry I’m eating way too much sugar-can’t resist!

Yesterday -worse still weekends

Late Breakfast/lunch-two slices of white sourdough, bacon, scrambled egg, spinach, tomatoes, beans

Lunch/dinner -roast chicken with carrots, leeks, orzo pasta, cabbage and brocalli

Snacks -kiwi, cheese, a massive bag of pretzels and 4 large homemade vaguely healthy cookies!!

Today

B-porridge with flax, chia, pomegranates, blueberry powder, seeds, nuts

L-same as yesterday’s lunch!

Dinner-salmon, brocalli, sweet potato, onion, kale

Snack-6 oat cake biscuits and kiwi, satsuma yogurt and cheese! Maybe the odd crisp later!

IslayBrigid · 03/02/2020 19:39

@mouse1234567 I also worry about this as I am constantly craving sweet things! Thankfully it is often fruit/ice lollies/ sorbet/fruit yoghurt so not toooo bad. I loitered around the sweets isle at Tesco yesterday bit forced myself to keep walking. I'm also well into chocolate again after a brief aversion period haha.
TBH your last two days look very good and healthy!

mouse1234567 · 03/02/2020 19:54

@IslayBrigid thanks -to be honest they weren’t my worst days. The day before I had a lot of cookies and a large smarties choc bar!

Thats good you are craving fruity things -def a bit more healthy!
