So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@MamaK36 I'm hoping our first scan will be a bit of reassurance too! The waiting around is horrible, I've never been the most patient of people!

butterflylove81 · 19/02/2020 20:11

Thank god cried on the midwife she wouldn't book me in so early but I told her my blood sugars were high and made her ring the diabetic obstetrician basically got a call back an hour later and told to go to the hospital pharmacy tonight to pick up some diabetic drugs and I'm being seen in the maternity unit at the hospital. Also now have an early scan on March 10 xxx

butterflylove81 · 19/02/2020 20:12

So looks like I might be getting booked in early at the hospital tomorrow morning x

Spark27 · 19/02/2020 20:47

That's good @butterflylove81. Well, not that it took all that for them to listen to you, but at least they have now and are putting things in place. And an early scan is nice. x

Indigogirl88 · 19/02/2020 21:33

@MamaK36 just seen your post on here as well, I think I'm feeling the same, anxious, worried about dh not fancying me anymore alongside tiredness and feeling sick I'm like, how am I meant to act!?!?

MrsD1990 · 19/02/2020 21:35

Glad you are getting booked in @butterflylove81 I hope it gives you some reassurance. Sorry it's been so stressful.

I have my private scan tomorrow evening. I hope everything is ok - I had a bit of an accident today where something hit my tummy and I'm a bit worried. From what I've read, this early on in pregnancy means it should be ok. Hoping for reassurance tomorrow. A little worried about my little bean.

MrsB1821 · 20/02/2020 07:57

@LexiM @SkyBlue20 @bluemoon2468 - I have my fist appointment at 9+2 which seems late - especially as your supposed to have bloods and results by 10 weeks! I’ll go nuts if they don’t do bloods on my first appointment- ill proper kick Off! Had so much trouble with them already... x

MsSian93 · 20/02/2020 08:02

Had my private scan last night and all is good, i was only expecting to see a little blob with a heartbeat but she said the baby is measuring at 8 weeks 2 days instead of the 7 weeks 4 days i think i am, so we saw the baby and the arms and legs! It was amazing and im so glad we did it.

The symptoms are something else this week. I haven't been sick once but the nausea and stomach churning are off the scale. I do feel lucky though as as i work as cabin crew i've been grounded since i found out i was pregnant. Until they find a ground job for me i can relax at home which has been very welcome!

Cluelessandpregnant · 20/02/2020 08:11

I'v just discovered I'm pregnant with my 1st. All planned but really shocked as it was the 1st time trying. Due 27th October so not quite early October. I think I'v had some bigger than usual mood swings lately. I'v only told my husband as can't really trust anyone else in my family to keep it quiet but could really do with some advice from someone who has been through it before. My hormones get the best of me most of the time anyway and I guess I'm worried about how my mental health will deal with being pregnant. I am excited but also terrified of not doing the best I can for the baby whilst pregnant.

SkyBlue20 · 20/02/2020 08:31

Sorry to hear you’re still feeling rough, @bluemoon2468. Did they give any indication as to how long it might last?

@MamaK36 @emstone I feel you on wanting reassurance from the first scan and not being patient! We FINALLY have our private scan tomorrow and the two weeks since we booked it feel like about six months! I also feel like it doesn’t really feel real just yet and that might help!

@MrsD1990 Good luck this evening! Am sure everything will be all good though 😊 let us know how it goes!

@MrsB1821 It sounds like they might do all of yours at the same time, fingers crossed!

@MsSian93 Amazing, so happy for you! Great about work, too! Enjoy the chilled time ☺️

@Cluelessandpregnant it’s my first too and it was first month of trying also, so can’t offer too much advice but if you feel you’re struggling, speak to your midwife and they should be able to help 💕

bluemoon2468 · 20/02/2020 09:07

@SkyBlue20 apparently the cyst should have gone or reduced in size by 12-14 weeks so it's the same as the sickness really. I'm so focused on getting to March 22nd (12 weeks) it's like a mini due date! Love that we get to tell everyone on Mother's Day though ❤

Spark27 · 20/02/2020 09:57

@bluemoon2468, yep it's good timing. I've got my scan on the 19th so I've invited my mum and dad round on the 21st. Told them it's for some pre Mothers day cake and fizz. Hopefully all will be good and we can tell them then. I might get some non alcoholic fizz in for me so I can confuse them for a little bit

MrsB1821 · 20/02/2020 11:44

@Spark27 - done almost the same! Have our scan next Monday so in laws are coming over for her early birthday take away and prezzie on Tuesday. So excited - gonna set a video camera up to capture her reaction - I’m sure she will wee herself! X

MrsB1821 · 20/02/2020 11:47

@Cluelessandpregnant - I’m first time trying first time conceived too. I know it’s not the same but everyone here is sooooo lovely and this group has been amazing for me. I don’t have any family nearby and I lost my mum a couple of years ago so
I just listen to what these girls have to say. All I Can say to you is that we are all sooooo different! Take comfort in that xxx

marauder1994 · 20/02/2020 11:54

Does anyone else feel knackered so they nap. And then they feel WORSE after the nap? Can't win hahaha

Nazly · 20/02/2020 12:12

Place making here - I just got a positive test result yesterday due date 28th Oct- so not quite early Oct but can I join in? There is no November thread yet

There is another October one though...

MamaK36 · 20/02/2020 14:00

@SkyBlue20 I am considering having an early scan but my husband isn't keen. I just think it would make things a bit more real as at the minute all I feel is unwell Sad

Blonde47 · 20/02/2020 14:08

Due 8th October 7+1 with my 1st so everything is very new is anyone else suffering cramping everyday??

MamaK36 · 20/02/2020 14:17

@Indigogirl88 yeah it's awful. I'm hoping I'm getting the worst of it now and it will pass soon. I am very self critical so that makes things worse. We need to remember we are cooking a baby though and that's hard work so we need time to rest and give ourselves a break xx

MrsD1990 · 20/02/2020 14:51

@Nazly welcome! Definitely join 😁 find this thread very comforting

Deej333 · 20/02/2020 15:25

I need help ladies! I found out via blood test and urine tests that I am around 4 weeks 4days pregnant due in October. I’ve had spotting once two tiny pinkish dots on tissue. Had nothing since this was hours ago, but I have had like mild aching where you usually have period pains coming and going not painful but scary I had a miscarriage in December so I’m on edge about this all. Could it be normal? Maybe I’m still implanting?

BooMamaBear · 20/02/2020 15:41

Sorry for radio silence been feeling pretty shitty but feeling slightly better today -@Spark27 I had no symptoms with DD but my next two Pregnancies were both boys and I had sickness all day from 5 weeks but it eased at 10 weeks so hopefully it will ease for you before 12 weeks, good news about your scan @bluemoon2468 hope you're feeling a bit better!! Xx

butterflylove81 · 20/02/2020 17:44

Well that was surreal. I'm booked in at 5 weeks due to diabetes and now have a set of maternity notes so I guess I'm officially pregnant. Saw three obstetricians have been weighed, peed in a pot, blood pressure etc and then given a run down as far as how to manage diabetes after birth... yep a good 8 months away always good to be prepared eh?! Shock

butterflylove81 · 20/02/2020 17:48

He was lovely I've met him twice before and he told me #youvegotthis. Fingers crossed all goes ok at early scan

butterflylove81 · 20/02/2020 17:48

Well not twice, as in for the entirety of two pregnancies he's a good doctor so hopefully all will be fine x
