So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hey everyone. This is my first post on mumsnet Smile I’m also 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby! Due date of 21st September.
Congrats to you all and wishing you all a happy and healthy pregnancy XX

SkyBlue20 · 10/02/2020 11:40

I’m the same @LaurenN23 - not really feeling many symptoms except for the occasional bit of heartburn and I’m tired but I wouldn’t say excessively more than usual. I hear they tend to ramp up after week six so making the most of it while I can but also kinda hoping for some just so I know all is ok!

Told my business partner this morning which was a HUGE relief, it had really been hanging over me, so now there’s no more telling people until the 12 week scan - off of the parents and siblings are done!

We’ve booked a private early scan for the 21st, when I’ll be seven weeks and have our midwife appt a couple of days before that, so I’m just counting down the days now, this week is going to drag!!

SkyBlue20 · 10/02/2020 11:42

@Quiffy We too are trying to figure out the storage situation - think we have a LOT of organising to do before October as things just aren’t being used to their potential at the moment. We’re also going to have to buy an air bed for guests... sorry mum 😂🙈

Quiffy · 10/02/2020 11:50

@LaurenN23 I say go for it, but try not to worry if you don't see heartbeat as that could be completely normal. Finders crossed you see everything anyway

Treacle81 · 10/02/2020 12:01

Congrats to the new BFPs ❤️ Yea o booked scan for just over 6 wks and changed it to 8 as I know I only had sex twice in December and therefore couldn’t have conceived until the 10/01/20 at earliest, although LMP was 01/01/2020. Just better being a bit later if anything. Midwife appt usually between 6-10 wks x

Treacle81 · 10/02/2020 12:01

Well in my area, it’s different everywhere you go I think x

Liv316 · 10/02/2020 13:23

Hi everyone! Found out I was pregnant over the weekend, I have self referred myself on the website. How long is it before you hear back from them?

Chh0412 · 10/02/2020 13:54

@Supper16 how do I DM you to join Facebook group! X

Supper16 · 10/02/2020 13:57

@Chh0412 I think you have to be on mumsnet on the internet, rather than on the app, to DM. On the internet on my post there are three dots on the bottom right, click them and you will find the 'PM' option.

lilyj13 · 10/02/2020 14:07

I feel so rough today, like really week 😩

Spark27 · 10/02/2020 15:11

@bluemoon2468, thanks for the comments on the flu jab. My mw didn't seem fussed at all, so I wasnt. But after your massage I looked in to it, and have managed to get myself booked in for one tomorrow am. So thanks x

And another plus, it means I get a late start to work. Added bonus

MrsC105 · 10/02/2020 16:06

@LaurenN23 I keep putting off booking my early scan! I was going to book mine for the evening of the 19th too but i'll only be 6+4 so i'm worried i wont see a heartbeat that early.. Other than that date the earliest i can do is the 26th as they only have appointments on Wedsnesday's and Saturday's

LaurenN23 · 10/02/2020 16:36

@MrsC105 it's so hard knowing what to do for the best! I'm not sure which I'd finder harder, waiting longer and not knowing or going and the possibility of it being too early to see anything! Gah!

Pregnancy so far has been one big heap of worry and I've only known for 3 weeks 😂🤪

lilyj13 · 10/02/2020 17:29

My midwife app is 6th March 😃

GBBO45 · 10/02/2020 18:27

Hi guys.. A bit new to all this. When you put how far along you are e.g. 5+3, is that date calculated from the first day of your last period? Thanks

Liv316 · 10/02/2020 18:55

@lilyj13 how exciting! How long did it take from you contacting them to making you an appointment?

How many weeks will you be at your appointment?

Buboob · 10/02/2020 19:24

@Lipgloss1031All of this is exactly the same for me, starvin as usual, slept in for work today (first time in like 2 years) but other than that no symptoms at all. Just got the wrong train on my way home from work though and added an hour to my journey so maybe add baby brain to the list (hahaha this poor bub is getting blamed for EVERYTHING over the next 8 months)

Yea same, just gymin and eatin and searching for anything pregnancy related online until I can tell people. When’s your due date? Mines October 9th.

Quiffy · 10/02/2020 20:01

@GBBO45 yeah start of last period. I also use the ovia pregnancy app, it has a calender with your weeks on it and gives you updates. Like ours is the size of a peppercorn atm and starting to develop ears 😻

blankiesandunicorns · 10/02/2020 20:09

Hi everyone.

Got freaked out by some cramping today, reassured by midwife that's normal but have booked an early scan with window to the womb this Saturday when il be 7 weeks.

Anyone else had/having an early scan?
I just need that reassurance to get through the next few weeks

SkyBlue20 · 10/02/2020 20:36

Just had some very light bleeding when wiping and now of course I’m terrified... just having a lie down and going to try and distract myself... this whole thing is so scary 😔

Quiffy · 10/02/2020 21:21

@skyblue20 thinking of you lots. Bleeding can be totally normal but that's not going to stop the worrying. Relax as much as you can and take care of yourself x

SkyBlue20 · 10/02/2020 22:40

Thanks @Quiffy. I’ve been to the loo three times since and no more sign of blood so HOPING all is ok but will see what tomorrow brings 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

MrsB1821 · 10/02/2020 23:31

Hey ladies - not had many symptoms today - bit worried. Hoping bean is just chillin. Weird though - I could almost be back to normal but still mega tired x
Thinking of you @SkyBlue20 xxx

LexiM · 10/02/2020 23:35

@SkyBlue20 thinking of you, hope everything is ok. I can imagine it’s so hard not to worry. Xx

SkyBlue20 · 11/02/2020 06:34

Still no more blood this morning, hoping it was just a one off and that the little one is still safely in place. I’d been to the gym last night, didn’t do anything major, just some leg exercises and a walk, but it’s really put me off going again now until I see the midwife.
I just know I’m going to be worrying the rest of the week now in case it happens again, my biggest fear is that that was just the beginning and it’s going to come back heavier and darker 😔
