So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@SkyBlue20 hello, hope you're feeling OK! I'm no expert but I just wanted to say that when I went to my doctor she said that a little bit of spotting is normal and can be a sign of implantation bleeding! She also said exercise was really good for the baby, and should carry on as before! I know it's so hard not to worry at these things - anxiety is my middle name, but stay positive! Sending you a virtual hug - this early
Pregnancy stuff is stressful xxx

sam1121 · 11/02/2020 07:54

@MrsB1821 I had all of my symptoms stop for 2 days last week. No nausea, no sore boobs and my heart rate started to drop as well. I was worried sick but all of my symptoms are back in full force now!

@SkyBlue20 it's so hard not to worry but fingers crossed it was just a once off. As others have said a little bit of spotting can be completely normal. Sending hugs. xx

SkyBlue20 · 11/02/2020 08:05

Thanks @Lucylou37, that’s really reassuring. It’s so easy to just Google and then only really take note of the bad things and ignore the good, so it’s good to hear a first hand experience.

Thanks for your well wishes everyone, for a busy day at work today so hoping that’ll take my mind off it and that there’ll be no more blood, I think I’ll relax if I can get through today without any 🤞🏼

bluemoon2468 · 11/02/2020 08:16

After weeks of nausea was actually sick for the first time this morning. Trying to see it as a good sign rather than despairing about how long is still left to go until the 2nd trimester 🤢🤢

blankiesandunicorns · 11/02/2020 08:24

Hope you're ok skyblue, and this is just one of those things. Our bodies are doing so much it's not surprising it does these things but we worry don't we!

My sickness is better today and I'm overthinking it of course 😒

SkyBlue20 · 11/02/2020 08:30

@bluemoon2468 That’s a good way to think of it - you know all is ok if you still have strong symptoms ☺️ Though it does sound absolutely terrible - hoping it eases off for you!

@blankiesandunicorns Thank you. I know it’s hard but try to not overthink it (and if you figure out how, let me know 😂🙈) - the symptoms seem to come and go as they please.

Said to my husband the other day that I’m constantly worried at the moment...and then realised that’s it now for the rest of our lives, we’ll constantly be worried about these little people, even when they’re all grown up and having their own!

Ellabella234 · 11/02/2020 09:00

@SkyBlue20 Hope you're ok lovely - such a worry and probably won't help but I have read and heard lots about IB happening and continuing over the few weeks after implantation (even though it seems too late in the game for that to be happening) as little bits keep shedding away, as bub burrows a bit deeper. I might be wrong but I have read this and either way, some bleeding can be normal and ok during pregnancy, but of course it's a worry and I'd be scared too. I'm sure everything will be ok, just rest a little and see how the next day or two goes 🌷❤️

MrsC105 · 11/02/2020 09:05

@LaurenN23 I've just booked mine for the 22nd and I'll be 7+1 so fingers crossed its not too early to see anything!

Lucylou37 · 11/02/2020 09:11

Hi all, I'm six weeks this week and it feels like I have barely any symptoms! I had a bit of cramping yesterday and felt sick, but think that might have been the preg vitamin I took in the morning and didn't have enough to eat with it! My nipples were really sore, but not any more! I took a pregnancy test yesterday evening and was all fine, just find it weird I feel normal! Has anyone else experienced this?

Quiffy · 11/02/2020 09:13

@skyblue20 here's to a nice stress free day with no spotting

SkyBlue20 · 11/02/2020 11:05

Thanks @Ellabella234, that’s really reassuring, I like the idea of him/her just getting a little cosier in there 🥰

@Lucylou37 Other than the bleed yesterday, I’ve not really had anything prolonged or really obvious. I believe they tend to ramp up after 6/7 weeks but also some people just don’t get them too badly so I wouldn’t worry too much ☺️

@Quiffy That’s really sweet of him (and bonus points to him for noticing - many men wouldn’t)! I got really bad dry patches on my face when I came off the pill and they seem to be clearing up now so maybe it’s the hormones - at least there’s one nice symptom! 😂

Does anyone have any sort of ‘feeling’ about what sex their little one will be? Everyone we’ve told (bar one person) thinks we’ll have a boy, though husband and I assume girl (even though he keeps referring to it as a he!)

Zaalfruit · 11/02/2020 11:25

@Lucylou37. That’s how I feel and I’m getting really worried - I don’t really feel nauseous or the need to vomit. I’m
Not sure what’s going on.

MrsB1821 · 11/02/2020 12:20

Woke up this morning with the biggest coldsore 😫 I look like I’ve done a round with Tyson!
Hunger is back too.

@SkyBlue20 got a feeling we’re having a boy - nobody can eat as much as a Bryan boy! But like I say maybe it’s twins!

DJBebe · 11/02/2020 12:27

Hi ladies. I am 6 weeks , due date is 5th Oct ttc #1. Because i had brown spotting and tummy cramps for 5 days and i was convinced that it is either ectopic or M/C. I had an early scan yesterday and all is well, i even saw baby's tiny heart on the monitor which made me cry with happiness ❤. The dr. explained the tummy cramps are normal and the spotting could be either be old blood or even implantation. So far my symptoms: exhaustion, nausea (comes and goes all day), tender breasts (level of pain fluctuates during the day) and constipation (never had any bowel problems but the stomach cramps ibget now are so bad it even wakes me up during the night). Wishing you all good luck with the pregnancy. X

Treacle81 · 11/02/2020 12:42

That’s the nausea hit me now, felt the same around this time yesterday, so it’s defo started 🤮6 wks tomorrow x Congrats on the new BFPs 🤰❤️

Zaalfruit · 11/02/2020 13:19

Does anyone know the best places to go for an early scan I feel overwhelmed by all of it .

JaffaCakeGal · 11/02/2020 13:34

@Zaalfruit I just booked one that came up on groupon nearby as it was half the price of any other I found and the reviews looked good

tle2109 · 11/02/2020 13:48

Hello everyone, I’ve been following this thread the past week or so as I was sure I was pregnant because I felt awful!! Nausea, actual sickness, in bed by 8pm etc... did 2 tests on Saturday morning and I am! Super early at 1-2 weeks, but so happy as we haven’t been trying for that long and this is our first. So excited but also very nervous something can go wrong in the early stages so we’ve only told our parents so far, we couldn’t keep it a secret from them! I’ve loved reading your posts the past week, and I think I will be due end of October / beginning of November... can’t work out my due date as my periods are very irregular due to pcos, so I’m hoping I may be able to get an early scan to work it out. Congratulations to everyone expecting, looking forward to this journey 💖

bluemoon2468 · 11/02/2020 14:02

In A+E because of terrible one sided stomach pains that started last night and are getting worse and worse. Absolutely terrified that it's ectopic. Worst thing is my husband is currently on a flight with work so I can't contact him until he lands and he won't be home for a few days. I have no bleeding or any other symptoms, but don't know how this amount of pain can be normal 😔

SkyBlue20 · 11/02/2020 14:33

@Bluemoon2468 I’m so sorry to hear that, sending you lots and lots of positive vibes and I hope you get answers soon - and that your husband is contactable and can get to be with you. Xxxxx

CouscousEvaporator · 11/02/2020 14:33

Oh @bluemoon2468 hope everything is ok x

Fredthespider · 11/02/2020 14:41

@bluemoon2468 sorry to hear you're in pain! I'm hoping you've been seen now and that everything is ok x

Cookiemonster19 · 11/02/2020 14:44

@bluemoon2468 thinking of you ♥️ Stay positive! It may just be cramping and stretching on the inside that just feels really painful X

Cookiemonster19 · 11/02/2020 14:46

Hi everyone! Not posted in a few days.... I had my cousins baby shower on the weekend that went really well 👶🏻
Symptoms wise they keep coming and going! I’ll get super tired easily (esp running around after a 2 year old all day) and nausea is on and off. The only consistent symptom is my appetite - or the lack of it lol
I have to literally force myself to eat... anyone else feel like that? X

Quiffy · 11/02/2020 14:49

@bluemoon2468 hope you're okay
