Today I found out I’m pregnant! Early Oct babies please join!

So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yea same here this is my first. I haven’t told anyone (apart from my boyfriend) and I’m dyyyyin to talk about it.

@MissBee8 yes I have small periods of feeling light headed.

We have decided to tell my Mum tomorrow, feeling nervous and I have no idea why as I know she will be thrilled!

@Buboob it’s super exciting! My DH and I have only told my parents atm. Feels like this massive secret 😻

@Glitterbug86 thank you for that link, I’m so terrified at the moment, just counting down to the milestones now, starting with midwife appt then early scan, then 12 week scan, etc.

@quiffy Thrilled! My mum squealed, hugged me tight and cried a bit. My MIL was happy but she’s a bit more reserved so wasn’t quite as enthusiastic, though she did give us both a hug and then husband later said she grabbed him when they were alone and gave him another big hug. Telling the bro-in-law and his wife tomorrow and my dad on Sunday then we’re done with the announcements for a while! ☺️

@skyblue20 so happy for you and pleased it went well. My husband has decided he will do the talking tomorrow and drop it into conversation to see if she notices haha my Mum is quite scatty/distracted easily so he may need to make it more obvious!

@mrsB1821 @wintergal well I'm glad I'm not alone! I've tried the whole, getting up and doing something and it hasn't worked. I think I just need to accept that I may be awake for some time 😂🙈

Hi I'm new here and and I'm sorry to barge in on your post but I can figure out how to create my own. I was wondering if anyone here could offer me some advice? I just found out that I'm pregnant and I'm 20 years old and feeling totally alone. My boyfriend is 23 and extremely immature and I'm struggling with him right now. We live together and he's constantly drinking smoking and partying and bringing his friends into our home. They're all so messy and it's always my job to clean it up. He has expected me to change my entire life for this little one which i dont mind but he won't change himself? I'm struggling a lot with morning sickness and just don't have the strength to deal with him anymore. Please help

@Bowied123 so sorry you're going through such a tough time. Are you in a position to be able to leave him? Do you have good support systems in place (family and friends) who will be able to help you through your pregnancy and once the baby is here?

@Bowied123, so sorry you feel like this and hes not being helpful. Is he always like this or is it just when his friends are around? Could you find a way to have a heart to heart when you're alone and let him know how you feel. If hes quite immature he might be feeling overwhelmed by it all and putting on an act (not an excuse, but it happens).

Again, what's your support network like? Do you have friends, family, a supportive boss, etc? Can you speak to the midwife. They will talk to you at any point and offer you lots of help and guidance.

Should we be getting flu jabs?

@Treacle81 I saw my mw yesterday and she recommended getting one. I asked her when they ran till and she said end of Feb and that 'if I could get in for one I should'. I'll ring my drs next week and if I manage to fit one in then I'll go for it, but if not I'm not too fussed. I think it's just in case we get flu and find it's really debilitating.

My last pregnancy i was due end of Sept and wasnt recommended one at the beginning. They did at the end, but then couldn't fit me in till Oct so I didn't bother

Hope you don’t mind me joining this thread for abit of support! I found out I was pregnant on Wednesday. I didn’t think I was but I had a gut feeling to just do a test as I was craving mango (not normal for me at all) and I went off tea.... I was only on cycle day 22 (on Wed) so I was expecting a BFN but i got quite a strong positive 🙈 I’ve tested 4 more times since as I can’t believe it. I already have one ds (2 1/2 years old). Me and my OH are so excited!! Going by my last period baby will be due on 20th Oct ♥️

I actually managed to get some sleep last night. So happy. I’ve found sleeping with my bra on helped loads. Still knackered though 😹 How’s everyone else today?

I’m so nauseous (even though I’m literally only 3 weeks?!) and exhausted. I can smell EVERYTHING! I’m still off tea, the thought is making me wanna puke, my appetite has disappeared (unusual for me hahaha) and I’m craving mango still 😂 Anyone else have any symptoms at 3 weeks this strong?

@Cookiemonster19 it was smell that got me, everything still does stink. All I wanted was tuna and curry, not so fussed on them now bit off chocolate which is not like me at all. The nausea has been ramping up weekly for me, I’m 5 weeks today and it’s meant to really kick in from 6 - yikes!

Haha same everything literally STINKS 🤢 I didn’t have any symptoms at 3 weeks the last time I was pregnant, I didn’t even find out till 7 weeks but the nausea and sickness kicked in around 8 weeks.... makes me wonder if I’m having twins 😂🙈

Today I feel awful, 5w4d feeling quite nauseas, my mouth is watering, feeling like I'm poorly rather then pregnant, I can't get excited at all

@lilyj13 I'm 5w4d too, I've felt exhausted today, been in bed most of the day. Can you get anything ginger? Like ginger nut biscuits or ginger tablets? That's supposed to help with nausea, also keep hydrated, I know it's hard. Drinking water makes me feel sick too but I'm managing peppermint tea ❤️
