So today I found out I’m pregnant with #1 ! & I honestly haven’t stopped crying with happiness all morning. Although I know it’s early days, I just wanted to see if there were any other early Oct babies due so that we can share the journey! I’m over the moon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@skyblue20 ahhh I'm so excited for you! Enjoy every minute xx

Jch89 · 07/02/2020 15:42

@skyblue20 yes baby #1, struggling to get an appointment with the GP so hopefully get that sorted next week, I think until then my husband will keep thinking I've made it up!!

LexiM · 07/02/2020 15:44

@SkyBlue20 really excited for you telling the mum’s, I bet they will be thrilled... this is making me want to tell mine!

Quiffy · 07/02/2020 16:32

@Jch89 you might be able to skip the gp entirely, I phoned up and asked and they just gave me the number of the midwife to phone. My practice is also a nightmare to get appointments so that really helped

Daisy2206 · 07/02/2020 16:42

@SkyBlue20 eeeek! How exciting for you, it'll be nice to be able to share the excitement!

@jch89 I didn't need to see my GP either and I know of someone who went to their GP and said "I don't need to see you" I just told the receptionist at my doctors I was pregnant and she booked me into the midwife :)

Is anyone suffering from sickness yet, I feel nauseas at night and super tired, 5w4d

MissBee8 · 07/02/2020 17:13

So I can normally set my clock my period, and I’m now 5 days late. Too scared to take a test, as I had a chemical pregnancy last year. Desperate for good news 😕

LeeCee · 07/02/2020 17:33

Yes @lilyj13 I'm am SO sick and SO tired and trying to run around after a 1 year old 😫

Quiffy · 07/02/2020 17:46

@lilyj13 not being sick but definitely nauseated first thing and afternoon.

@missbee8 ahh I’m so sorry about your chemical. We’re all here for a handhold if you want to take a test, it’s hard but you’ll just be in limbo wondering if you don’t ❤️

MissBee8 · 07/02/2020 17:51

@Quiffy thanks lovely! Def getting the symptoms.. massive appetite, backache, dizziness. Anyone else getting any?

Daisy2206 · 07/02/2020 17:53

Oh my word... My back today has been so achey! I've had a little nausea too but that seems to have subsided..... For now 😂

LexiM · 07/02/2020 18:19

My nausea comes like a sudden wave and then goes again, but I’m sure that’s just the start!

Just had my pre-bedtime nap 😂

lilyj13 · 07/02/2020 18:30

@LeeCee I'm a childminder and I'm feel awful at night and so tired, trying to stay positive but I think will hit me at 6 weeks it did last time when I suffered hyperemisis cheep strong get some good tablets from the docs x

Buboob · 07/02/2020 18:38

Massive congratulations to everyone else here with their BFPs, SO wild to say this but I’m also joining the October baby party, looks like I’m due around the 9th of October so still early days.

Been ttc for a few months now and routinely doing pregnancy tests that ended up bfn every month, this month I was so much more chill about the whole thing, didn’t even freak when I didn’t get a peak reading on my opks but deffo didn’t expect the poas to come up positive.

3 (VERY dark line) positive pregnancy tests yesterday confirms it though. 5 weeks.

The only symptom so far seems to be waking up in the middle of the night and not able to get back to sleep, everything else feels totally normal. Now the big long wait till my first appointment at 8 weeks, tryin to just stay super chill about the whole thing but this being my first that can sometimes be easier said than done.

So excited for everyone here. Xx

Daisy2206 · 07/02/2020 18:48

My auntie has just given me some premixed gin and tonics as a thank you for going with her to an appointment this afternoon and driving her somewhere tonight 😂🙈 ah well... I'm sure my mum will enjoy them

Glitterbug86 · 07/02/2020 20:32

Been watching this thread reading all yer messages with great interest for the past couple of weeks. Congrats to all the new BFPs 😀

Im 5+3 now but not really having any symptoms (yet?!). Had some mild cramping for 2-3 days at 10dpo, which I think was implantation, but nothing since. My boobs are a bit tender but that's only when I literally press on them to feel something 😂 I did do another test a week ago which was a lot darker than the first so hopefully all is ok and I should count myself lucky. I read week 6 is when symptoms usually ramp up too..

Glitterbug86 · 07/02/2020 20:40

Also, I saw this website posted on another thread when I was googling worrying a little about my lack of symptoms... I thought it was helpful, so posting it here in case it helps to reassure anyone else

Quiffy · 07/02/2020 20:52

@Glitterbug86 thank you so much for this. I’ve been suffering bad cramps for the last hour and freaking myself out, I’m sure it’s all v normal.

@MissBee8 those sound really promising! Do you think you will test?

Quiffy · 07/02/2020 20:54

@Buboob congratulations! We’re due date buddies at the moment ❤️

Buboob · 07/02/2020 21:08

@Quiffy ahh, so exciting isn’t it! Even writing this it doesn’t actually feel like I’m speaking about myself.

I’ve been all over that Pregnancy + app reading up on everything and the fact that at this stage the babies heart is already beating (although still to faint to be picked up yet) just BLOWS my MIND.

Big big congrats, is this your first?

MissBee8 · 07/02/2020 21:18

@Quiffy yep will test.. think I will go tomorrow.. 😊😊

blankiesandunicorns · 07/02/2020 21:49

Glitterbug thanks for posting that link.

I find myself with textbook morning sickness from 8-9.30ish then fine for the rest of the day. Feel myself worrying later in the day when I feel better!

MissBee8 · 07/02/2020 22:01

Anyone else getting lightheaded?

Quiffy · 07/02/2020 22:02

@Buboob first here! Wbu?
