Sorry @BecsterG. I wrote in the wrong post 🤦‍♀️ some of us from the January post we're saying there wasn't many BFP's from the group, but you got yours ( congrats) and set us this group which we hope we can join in the future xx

BecsterG · 23/01/2020 17:09

@GemLou88 no problem. No one has joined me on this post so far Smile.

@BecsterG
How are you getting on?
Il officially join you here although I am totally convinced I’m gonna lose this one like I lost the others 😥
I just can’t allow myself to think positively at all 😩

Cruiser1 · 23/01/2020 21:25

Do you have a plan? Or are you gonna be like a normal person and just leave it alone and wait 9 months? 😂
I’m planning to take my progesterone and book in for a scan at the 6 week mark and hope to see a heartbeat!
I probably won’t breathe until then 😥

BecsterG · 23/01/2020 21:27

Hey @Cruiser1 . How have you been? Have you taken more tests?

I'm good thanks although anxious about everything. I'm still testing every few days as I'm worried the line is going to get lighter. I've promised myself once the tests I've got are done that's me. X

OP posts:
BecsterG · 23/01/2020 21:29

@Cruiser1 erm not really much of a plan. Last time I started spotting just before I was 6 weeks so that's my first milestone.

I found out last time I have a heart shaped uterus so the EPU said they'd scan be at 6-8 weeks. Would love to make myself wait until 8 weeks so you can see more. Ha ha

Everything time I feel a cramp or anything I'm like shit what's that! X

Cruiser1 · 23/01/2020 21:38

@BecsterG I’m the exact same, every twinge I think ‘this is it’ and every bit of CM I think that will be the bleeding starting!
I’m completely losing it, so convinced I’m gonna lose the pregnancy! It must be just a coping mechanism that I’m just preparing myself for the worst but it’s awful to be on edge the whole time 😞

Ye I was 6 weeks on the first MC and 7 on the second so If I made it to 8 weeks I’d be delighted - although I think il be a nervous wreck for the whole nine months if it’s successful!

How about symptoms?
I have the tiniest bit of nausea, heightened smell and food aversions
I’m eating chocolate like a starved animal in the wild 😮😂
Iv got sore boobs, bloating (but that could be the chocolate) tiredness and the odd headache
I’m also never further than 30 seconds from losing my shit 😮

BecsterG · 23/01/2020 21:46

@Cruiser1 probably is a coping mechanism.

I went for a scan at 6 weeks last time and I hadn't miscarried at that point. Found out I was having twins and that there was a lot of blood below them. Had to go back 2 weeks later for another scan and that's when thy said no heartbeats. Basically just a lot of waiting!

So sorry you've had to go through it twice. Fingers crossed for third time lucky.

If I could make it to 6 weeks without bleeding as a first milestone I'll relax a little and then I'll call EPU and ask when they want to scan me and take it from there.

My symptoms are still there but I think I notice them less. My boobs constantly tingle and I have indigestion a lot without even eating but that's it. I feel pretty normal other than that.

So pleased you've joined this group. Nice to chat about it.

Are you still testing or is it just me being a maniac.

X

@Cruiser1 also keep having slight twinges on the right. Freaks me out every time although I'm pretty sure I had this when I was pregnant with my son as I had an early scan at 11 weeks because of slight cramps on the right.

Cruiser1 · 23/01/2020 21:54

No I’m also a maniac 😂 I’m testing once a day with first morning urine. I have lots of internet cheapies so may as well!
I think I have lots of symptoms because I’m on progesterone this time.
Aw I’m so sorry you lost twins that must have been horrendous 😞
I didn’t see a heartbeat on either of them so I guess that might have helped in that I didn’t get good news then bad news if you get me

BecsterG · 23/01/2020 22:01

I hold out until the afternoon and then I cave and take a test. It's silly as the test line is so strong, strong than the control line but it's a habit now. I WILL stop eventually. 😂 So pleased you're testing too. When was your period due?

There was a lot of sitting around waiting and not knowing if I'd have one, two or no babies and to be honest I couldn't get my head around twins! I mean who's ready for that! I felt so guilty for feeling like that.

OP posts:
BecsterG · 23/01/2020 22:02

@Cruiser1 totally get you about the heartbeat but I don't think it makes it any easier to hear.

OP posts:
Cruiser1 · 27/01/2020 08:12

Sorry Iv been MIA
How you getting on?

BecsterG · 27/01/2020 09:32

I'm doing OK thanks. Which time would move faster as only 5 weeks plus.

How are you doing? Have you had your HCG levels checked again?

OP posts:
Cruiser1 · 27/01/2020 10:49

Yes I feel the same..... the last week has felt like a month
I checked this morning and waiting to hear the result
I’m going to have a scan at the 6 week mark and praying for a heartbeat
Any more symptoms for you? My nausea is getting slightly worse so I’m taking that as a good sign

BecsterG · 27/01/2020 11:19

I'm going to call the EPU next week at 6 weeks and see when they want to scan me. Part of me wants it next week and the other thinks I should wait until 8 weeks. Will you call the EPU too or will you have to pay? Fingers crossed for the results from your bloods. When will you get them? Feeling sick is a good sign.

I feel a little nauseous today although I've got a cold so could be that, other than that I feel different but can't put my finger on it.

I took my last clear blue test this morning and I'm now getting 3+ which makes me feel better as the levels have increased.

Weeks are sooooo slow.

BecsterG · 28/01/2020 07:08

@Cruiser1 any news?

I'm nervous that I have hardly any symptoms yet. X

OP posts:
Cruiser1 · 28/01/2020 07:35

Hiya 👋🏼
So I got my HCG result and it was 900 🙌🏼 I was delighted as it’s more than doubling.
I called the EPU and they had very little interest in helping me, they said to only call them if I have a problem ie. bleeding cramping
So ye I’m just paying privately to be scanned at 6 weeks. Levels are encouraging but they were great the last time and I still miscarried so I don’t know what to think now a days! 😧
Yes..... the time is dragging! I just wanna know if it’s gonna work out. But I know I won’t relax until probably 20 weeks when I have anomaly scan, or I might not relax for 9 months 😂😂 who knows 😂

BecsterG · 28/01/2020 09:40

That's great news. There is no reason why this pregnancy won't stick but I completely get how you are feeling. I think they said they'd seem as I have a strange shaped uterus and it was twins last time.

Ekk no idea when I'll call down. As you say anxiety levels may decrease a little with each scan.

I don’t feel well at all today - can’t put my finger on it..... I keep thinking ‘ah here comes the miscarriage’ it’s awful 😥😭

BecsterG · 28/01/2020 15:59

@Cruiser1 aww try not to worry. It's so hard I know. Do you just feel out of sorts? Crampy?

I don't feel sick at all (yet) which makes me so nervous but I do feel a bit strange.

Have you booked your scan?

OP posts:
raspberrypickle · 28/01/2020 19:30

Hi hope you don't mind me joining you on here.. I was lurking on the previous January testing page.
I had a miscarriage at the beginning of December - a scan at 12 weeks showed the baby had only got to 5 weeks gestation. I then had what seemed like longest cycle ever, kept getting BFN, then got a faint BFP on what I thought was day 48.. the tests have gradually got stronger but it's so hard to believe everything is ok after what happened last time Confused

BecsterG · 29/01/2020 07:46

@raspberrypickle Welcome! Of course you can join us. How are you feeling? Do you know how many weeks you are then if you had a long cycle? X

OP posts:
raspberrypickle · 29/01/2020 07:58

I'm really confused about my dates as I think my body just missed a period after the miscarriage.. on the booking in form you have to put a date for your last period (it wouldn't let me leave the box blank!) so I put the date I started bleeding which would make me 7 weeks but in reality I think I'm nearer 5. Feeling very anxious today as I realised that this was the point last time when the pregnancy ended but I had no idea, terrified of the same thing happening again..
how are you doing?
