Hi Ladies, hoping you all can join soon. The TTC (trying to conceive) after MC (miscarriage) January group have been so supportive I hope we can keep it up for those who have BFP (big fat positive).

@BecsterG yep I can't relax until that scan. Waiting I rubbish. x

Had a miscarriage on sep 27th lasted until Halloween night was horrendous!! Got my BFP a few weeks ago now currently 7 weeks and freaking out at every pain and twinge can't wait for the 12 week scan. Hope everyone is doing okay and hope yous all get your BFP

@Zoey36 ha ha the weeks are so long! A week today for me.....

Hi @cduffs welcome to our wee group. We all got our BFPs last month (I think) and going through the LONG wait for our dating scan.

I'm 9 +4 and I'm having my second reassurance scan a week today. So anxious at everything like you say. Time drags too.

Have you been offered a reassurance scan following your MC last year?

Yes it was good news! They could see a heartbeat, baby is measuring at 7 weeks + 1 day, due date is 7th October, feeling a lot better than I did this morning!!

@BecsterG No one has offered me nothing I was just going to book privately but they won't take me until 8 weeks which is next week so hoping it flies in now. Congratulations everyone!!

@cduffs I'm in Scotland so I know it works differently up here but I just called the EPU and they offered me one and want to do a follow up so might be worth calling and see if they'll give you a reassurance scan. I was told they like to wait for 8 weeks too.

Hello ladies, I was with you on the January thread but didn't get my bfp that month.
Pleased to say I'm now 4 weeks 1 day pregnant...!!
Never been as scared in my life!!!

@cduffs as @BecsterG said, it might be worth asking your antenatal department- I didn't know they offered reassurance scans at my hospital, I put on my self-referral form that I was anxious because of my previous miscarriage, I think that's why they offered me one.

@BecsterG nope... Not yet! Im currently on holiday, found out whilst I was here.

I've had bad lower abdomen cramps and lower back ache, both on the left.. All day today. Worse when I'm sitting down... So I'm majorly paranoid now 😩 and dreading the flight home!!

@BS9790 that's such a worry but it could just be the baby burrowing deeper into your lining. I had some cramping back when I was 4 weeks. See how you are when you get home and if you're worried call EPU.

Hello ladies! Yay to lovely scans and hello newbies! I'm 8 weeks now and started being sick again and feel generally urrggghh! I'm unbelievably hungry and wake in the night with hunger pains! I was the same with my daughter. I'm eating a ridiculous amount of food. Scan Wednesday and I'm actually feeling okay about it!

@Zoey36 I'm hungry a lot too but when I actually sit down to eat dinner I'm full really quickly and soon feel like I'm going to throw it up. That being said I'm managing to eat a ridiculous about of rubbish. Need to stop it now.

I'm 9 weeks now and the constipation is real! I've never experienced this before but it's depressing. I have my booking appointment on Wednesday so I'll mention it. Second scan is on Thursday. I feel ok about it but know I'll be nervous on Thursday morning.

I'm fed up of feeling bluuuuugh although I know it's likely to be some time yet.

I've booked a private scan for next Wednesday to put me at ease. I've been feeling a bit nauseous but nothing too bad no morning sickness and today no sore boobs I'm starting to panic

@cduffs that's good you've got a scan date. I've found that some days my symptoms are less and then it comes back and hits me so try not to read into it although we all do! Ha ha

Scan was good. measured 8+3 and everything looked good. The sickness is too much for me now. I'm going to get some Cyclizine and hope that gets me through. Had a little hormone driven pity party last night and cried to my husband saying that I will actually be relieved if there is no heartbeat because then I know the sickness will end. :( I obviously didn't really want that but I wasn't in a good frame of mind!

@Zoey36 great news about them scan. Sorry you're feeling so sick and it's getting you down. That's great that they are giving you something for it though. Have you taken time off work?

I've had my booking appointment this morning and second scan is tomorrow. Ekk

@BS9790 how are you cramps? Any better?

@BecsterG no I'm self employed working in schools - I need the money and schools need the staff!
Let us know how your scan goes! I was told today that I'll get another scan when I have my booking appointment?! Seems a bit mad having 3 scans before 12 weeks!

Oh wow. Well that's good. The more scans the better. My dating scan isn't until 23rd March although might see if there has been a cancellation the week before.

Rubbish you can't take time off. Fingers crossed the tablets work

@BecsterG, no, still no better and I'm now just feeling really uncomfortable and achey in abdomen and back... Which is how my MC started last time. Phoned EPU today and they wanted me to go over for blood hcg doing, will get results later this evening, then back on friday to see if they've doubled x

@BS9790 oh no poor you. Fingers crossed the Hormone levels double for you. Let us know how you get home. Use a hot water bottle as I find that's the only thing that helps.
